This is my first Curvy Kate unlined, and let me tell you, I'm loving it! I've been wearing it for about three hours, and it's very comfy! I have some significant asymmetry and this bra is taking it in stride; it looks great on both sides. It's got a very natural look and feel, but not in the matronly full coverage bra way. It's more of a low and wide bra. It looks great under wide scoop and square necklines. It isn't bumpy under a shirt. My right side is a tiny bit pointy, but otherwise, this bra is very ideal. Band is firm, straps supportive, and cups ... wide enough for my average width roots. It's fitting right in my infra mammary fold, which is a challenge because my lower root shape is kind of flat, so I have a small space at the bottom of a lot of cups-- not this one! The only other ones that fit right in there are Cleo Ellis, Bella, Lily, and Meg. So my new Gia has just joined an exclusive club.

EDIT: About a year later, I have bought about 10 of these in various colors and sizes as I've dropped pounds. It's my best everyday bra.

I had really high hopes for this bra. It's smooth (unlike all the embroidered CK bras that show through thin tops) and its a nice neutral mauve. And look at cup width and depth, it seems to be a fantastic fit.. until you look at the main seam (the diagonal one from strap across apex to gore). I get this weird fabric wrinkle that is *super* obvious under a shirt. I am not sure what is causing it. A bad sewing job (fabric too tight/too loose on one side)? Apex in the wrong location for me (you can see half or more of my nipples through the lace portion)? Shape missmatch (I have short, sort of FOB, firm-ish, projected boobs)? The top of the bra lays nicely on my boobs apart from that odd, elongated bubble of fabric along that seam. Come to think of it, its pretty much the exact same problem I had with the Cleo Zia. Oh well. Hopefully it works better for someone else's boobs.

I had the same problem with this bra. I figured it was a shape mis-match.

The Gia is an awesome everyday bra-- I have 5 of them in this size and they basically WERE the rotation for about 6 months-- those and some Claudette Dessous and a couple of Cleos.

The only thing I'd say is that this bra is made for a very round, projected breast type, so when it first gets too big, it gets too big for me above the nipple or right under the straps. I wouldn't say it's particularly open on top, but I could see it giving an upside down seven shape in larger sizes.

Note that the band on the Gia is firmer than the bands on the Princess, Dreamcatcher, or Portia.

Very short, projected, close set, center full, even, slightly narrow breasts....

All thanks to courtnelius , I have found several comfortable bras. Gia is my favorite, so far. In fact, she was the first bra I reached for this warm summer morning.

Cups are a silky laminated satin. This feels intensely better to me than mesh. My projected breasts are well-supported by the fabric and design of the cup. In the past, unlined bras generated a shape I loathed. In fact, I preferred my breasts without a bra to the shape unlined bras created. Feel free to check photos to verify https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" ... /> Enter CK Gia, Bardot, and Dreamcatcher and Claudette Dessous: remarkable shape and fit. I had avoided CK bras in the past because I read they were wide and shallow. My recent experience with them has secured their home in my minimalist bradrobe for narrow, projected, short breasts.

The gore is my one fit issue with this bra. And, I've had mixed results with gore narrowing/overlapping alterations. There is a burning sensation near the gore under my left breast. I will soon use needle and thread to narrow the base of the gore. And, I'll hope this alteration does not ruin what is otherwise a good fit as it did in the 30G Bardot. Bardot became too small after the alteration when all my breast tissue could flow into the cup. Sigh.

I'm disappointed Gia has been discontinued, but I eagerly anticipate a replacement with stretch lace https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Wishful thinking https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

I bought this bc I went down a size and it was nicely priced. After I lost weight, it looks like I'm officially full on bottom. It fit perfectly except for the little wrinkling of cup. Not visible under clothes or anything. So far, I'm loving this bra. Very happy I bought it

Great everyday bra- smooth seams, rounded shape, and supportive, comfortable fabric. The band is nicely firm, too.

This bra is too big for me for sure. However, the biggest problem is how high it comes up on the sides! Holy cow, when adjusted to the proper strap length, the cup is cutting into my underarms a ton. This may be because it is too big for me?
