I love the way the Curvy Kate Princess Balcony Bra used to fit before I gained weight. Any weight gain goes to my boobs and I end up with some mild quad-boob effect on my larger breast. I HATE that the little polka dots on this bra are thick/textured and visible through practically any material that isn't super thick or double layered. The dots are not only visible as dots but also raised, so they make a textured appearance that is really visible, even from far away. I basically only wear this bra when I'm going to work in scrubs with a thick cotton shirt under my scrub top or in the winter when I have 2 layers of long sleeved shirts/sweaters on to hide the polka dots.

The Great Amazon Prime Wardrobe Try-On, Pt 2!
My shape: FOB, narrow roots/shoulders, soft tissue, 32G (though I'm thinking maybe more 30G or 30GG since a lot of these 32 bands are too stretchy for me!)

Fit: Curvy Kate was one of the first bras I tried in my bra fitting journey, and it wasn't long before I realized the wires were too wide for me. I figured, what the heck? I'll try one again, since it's been a couple years. Yeah, they are still too wide. The wires feel like they go halfway across my back; there's a lot of empty space on the sides of the cup. The ... straps are REALLY wide-set, too, so much so that no strap surgery could help. The fabric and straps are pretty much directly in my armpits.
I ordered a 30GG, but the cups feel either too shallow or a cup size smaller than usual, because I have a lot of spillage. It feels more like a 30G to me, so keep that in mind if you are looking at trying this bra.

Appearance: This bra is seriously adorable. I got the lemon yellow one, which is a really pretty color. There are soft polka dots on the cups, and the top edge has this feminine lace trim with a little white ribbon all along it. It's a sort of "little girlish."
Also, there is no lining on the inside of the cups, so it is very see though. Darker nipples will definitely show through.

Overall, Curvy Kate's just aren't the right shape for me. They have such cute styles! It's a shame I don't fit into any of them. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This bra was just a little bit too big for me. Also I was looking for a bra with padding and this bra does not have any. But I think for someone who it fit correctly it would be a great bra. It is super cute.

CK Princess is one of my favorites, so much that I had to order it again when my size changed. It's short root, FoB, friendly but the top lace may not work for everyone. I love the appearance, but the raised dots in the fabric and lace edge can be a problem under smooth tops. The band is very stretchy. I downsized from a 32 to a 30 band and it's still comfortably stretchy.

Absolutely love this bra, one of the only curvy kate that fits me as I need narrow wires! Fits awesome, looks pretty, and doesn't cause me much pain (if at all)!

I normally wear a 30G (sometimes a 28GG), but knowing from prior experience that Princess runs small I decided to err on the side of a 30GG. That turned out to be the right cup volume, and the bra is cute, but overall I'm no more impressed with the brand than I was when I was a 36K.

The wires are wearable, though a teeny bit wide for me, and the cups give my narrow/projected shape a flattened look, pushing my breasts towards my armpits.

I'm center heavy, so chose a 30 over a 28 as I expected I would need to alter the gore ... to compensate for exactly this problem, and I wasn't wrong, but the shape is wrong enough for me that even a gore alteration isn't going to really make it work.

It's not a bad bra, but is just not at all flattering on me. My Freyas have more lower projection so give me a better overall shape.

I'm completely over Curvy Kate bras at this point. They just don't work for me, no matter how much I might want them to.
