  1. I first heard that Ritzy was supposed to be in the tradition of the Showgirl line and, while from the styling aesthetic I can see why, the fit was quite different. The lace detail at the top of the cups does show through for T-shirts, so if that bothered you with the Showgirl line it is still a consideration here. There was certainly no need to size down in the band like with the Showgirl bras. In fact, the 36 Ritzy band was smaller than my 34 Tease Me! I found the band of the Ritzy to be wide, due to having three generously spaced hooks, yet it ... was firm and felt very supportive while wearing. I also did not find the mesh band to be at all scratchy. The center gore was quite comfortable despite its height, and felt fairly narrow. The Ritzy's cups do have more depth and initial lower projection than the Showgirls, though certainly not as much as an Ewa Michalak CHP. The wires were also narrower than I was expecting. In fact, they were only a little wider than my CHP Noc! I did not experience any east-west issues like I do with the unlined Curvy Kate bras. I have borderline shallow to average projection and hover between FF and G in cup size, but due to my soft tissue I found I got a nicer, rounded, uplifted shape with the FF while G gave me a more torpedo-like look. I suspect that those who need a lot of immediate lower projection will need to size up in the cup, as will those between sizes with firmer tissue. The straps are placed a bit wide, but nothing I wasn't anticipating given the bra style. I have not yet experienced arm(pit) rubbing or discomfort due to the strap placement. Overall, I REALLY like the Ritzy so far and hope Curvy Kate makes more styles like it!

I have this in "berry"/dark fuschia. This bra gives the most uplift and COAP effect Ive ever had with a bra, helped by the fact that this is one if not two cup sizes too small on me and shallow.

I also own the ritzy babydoll in the black+blush colourway in the same size and it, for some reason, is slightly slightly roomier. This bra is slightly narrower, shorter, shallower, and overall smaller depth-wise in the cups (very slightly, but when all the dimension reductions are compouded it makes a big difference) than the babydoll. This bra's band seems the same as the babydoll's band, but a little ... firmer, most likely just due to it being new.

The cups are open on top so this bra visually appears to fit me since I don't quad. But I would not wear this out as half of my chest is out of the cups so the support isn't ideal (although that uplift...). The wires are firm so when the band is stretched it doesn't distend the wires. If you've tried Tease Me, this similarly shaped but more wearable and less crazy shallow.

I recommend this to FOT, but consider sizing up in cups (unless you plan to purchase as a boudoir item).

Me: tall roots reaching collarbone, very close-set (touching), average to narrow width, shallow, splayed east-west, FOT or even (unsure), centre-full horizontally. Measurements: 26" snug UB and 34" leaning bust.

    Fits

I was excited to try Curvy Kate and this bra did not disappoint. It fits really well and is quite comfortable. I have it in Berry, and it is a pretty wine/cranberry colour with lovely lace details. It feels supportive and looks flattering. Straps adjust easily. It fits very true to size, both in the cups and band. I get just a hint of quad boob on one side- not enough to bug me. This one is a keeper.

Oh how I wish this bra were compatible to my boobies. It's just far too narrow and wide. Fairly no projection. I did buy this bra knowing it would not fit but I still wanted to give it a try. But golly, I love all the black lace the dangling rhinestone in the center gore. The small lace detail by the hooks. But alas it's not for me. The gore did not tack. The band was comfortably tight, I think it was a small 32 more like a 30 But what do I know, I've never tried a 30 band.. Omg the best part, was the straps they adjusted the whole way. Why can't all bras just have that type of straps?

    Hasn't set fit

Just got this bra in a 30J and it's very pretty. Lots of beautiful detailing and there is even lace accents by the fastening on the back. It's surprisingly soft and comfortable for such a structured bra, and I feel very supported in it. However, it runs super small. I would say this fits a little smaller (cup and band) than a Cleo Darcy I have in a 30H, although the cup and gore are taller. If you have more shallow projection the fit of the cup may be more accurate for you. The band is very firm - at first I didn't think I could get it ... on, but once on it's a reasonable fit. If you are between sizes you definitely want to go with the larger band and many people may want to go up one band size. The projection in the Ritzy is very shallow, which usually doesn't work for me, but because of the balcony cut it works out. There is still some wrinkling on the bottom of the cup, but I don't feel flattened or pulled down. From the side it can look very shelf-like, but from the front it is much more rounded and provides a very upfront look! Overall I really like this bra and it is much more comfortable than expected.

I'm soft, short rooted, center full, pendulous, projected, and narrowish.

This is a padded/lined half cup bra. I love the black pinstriping fabric overlay on top of the red padding. The lace on the top of the cups sticks up a bit, and it matches the lace on the bottom of the gore and where the hooks meet the eyes.

The straps are a touch wide set, and rub against my tail of spence on both sides. They're a simple black strap that fully adjust. I think the straps are a touch short, so that's something to look out for.

The red bow on the gore has ... a cute clear stone charm on it. Gore doesn't tack by about 2 fingers on me, but that's pretty par for the course. I've only been able to get Panache and Ewa Michalak to get close. I do love the black on black pinstriping on the gore, and at the top the wires are right next to each other.

The wires in the cups themselves are slightly thinner than other wires I have come across, and the cup feels narrow for a 36H. Not as stiff as Panache wires, not as soft as Freya's.

The cup is a touch tall on me with a little bit of empty space where the cup meets the strap, but not a dealbreaker. Someone with a more average root would be fine in this bra. Bottom of the cup is shallow, and I think if I wore it longer than trying it on, I would fold the bottom over the wire. This is not as shallow as Freya's half cups. Seams are very visible through tight clothing. Internally the cup is a 3 part half cup design. I do get a nice rounded shape in this bra, rounded on the sides

I do think the bottom of the band is tighter than the top and it is snug on me, so maybe a touch of uneven tension in the band, it is an exact 36 stretched out. 3 rows of hooks as well.

    • Hi! I know you sort of touched on this in the review, but would you say this fits similarly to a 36H Panache? Is it true to size? Thanks :)

    • Which panache? It fits wide and shallowish, but is true to size. I was a bit short rooted for it, and had gaping along the top, which is why I returned it.

    • Panache Ariza or Floris...or Cleo Darcy/.Juna? Thanks :)

    • Very much like the Juna.

Way to wide for me and perhaps a cup small but going up a cup wouldn't really help as my issues with it are related to my shape. Not great for my center fullness and projected, soft, pendulous breasts. Band is better than the previous Tease Me bras but still very stretchy. I'm selling a lot of my bras that are shape mismatches but I'm keeping this for when I get smaller/ because I love how it makes my breasts look. Great cleavage. Great cups on a plate look. Also, from my photos I know it looks like the straps are really tight, but I have permanent indentations from years of trying to get some sort of support from poor fitting bras.

I was hoping that this bra was similar to the Showgirls which it visually resembles, but the structure/shape is quite different. This did not give me the rounded purple shape I associate with the Showgirls. It runs more true to size as it is less shallow. My regular cup size was fine, and I probably would have happier to sister size up one band size (to my regular Panache band size).

The gore did not tack on me; I think the wires were too soft. When I pressed the gore flat I got the tiniest bit of overspill on my larger breast, and plenty of gaping on the smaller side. The bra was visible under shirts.

Received this bra second hand, and unfortunately the cups weren't quite my shape. Seems good for top fullness, which I have very little of. Otherwise the projection was good and the bra itself pretty confortable, but not something I'd wear often because the top of the cup sticks out in a t shirt.
