I first heard that Ritzy was supposed to be in the tradition of the Showgirl line and, while from the styling aesthetic I can see why, the fit was quite different. The lace detail at the top of the cups does show through for T-shirts, so if that bothered you with the Showgirl line it is still a consideration here. There was certainly no need to size down in the band like with the Showgirl bras. In fact, the 36 Ritzy band was smaller than my 34 Tease Me! I found the band of the Ritzy to be wide, due to having three generously spaced hooks, yet it ... was firm and felt very supportive while wearing. I also did not find the mesh band to be at all scratchy. The center gore was quite comfortable despite its height, and felt fairly narrow. The Ritzy's cups do have more depth and initial lower projection than the Showgirls, though certainly not as much as an Ewa Michalak CHP. The wires were also narrower than I was expecting. In fact, they were only a little wider than my CHP Noc! I did not experience any east-west issues like I do with the unlined Curvy Kate bras. I have borderline shallow to average projection and hover between FF and G in cup size, but due to my soft tissue I found I got a nicer, rounded, uplifted shape with the FF while G gave me a more torpedo-like look. I suspect that those who need a lot of immediate lower projection will need to size up in the cup, as will those between sizes with firmer tissue. The straps are placed a bit wide, but nothing I wasn't anticipating given the bra style. I have not yet experienced arm(pit) rubbing or discomfort due to the strap placement. Overall, I REALLY like the Ritzy so far and hope Curvy Kate makes more styles like it!
