After ordering a one piece from Panache Swimwear and finding it to be a bit too short in the body which made the wires sit too low on my chest, I decided to go for tankinis instead. Initially I had been apprehensive to try something from Curvy Kate since I had read reviews of older styles which seemed to not scale well for larger cup sizes. This was on a good sale on zulily so I decided to give it a go and I'm glad that I did.
The cups are not as wide as Panache, though perhaps still a little wide for me (I find my ... Ewa Michalak bras to be the right narrowness so most brands are a bit wide for me). It is a little bit difficult to get on since it's basically a bra inside of the tankini, but once I got it on it felt very secure. The band is firm without being too tight. The straps adjust well for any other little adjustments necessary.
The print is cute, little seashells on a pink background. I'm not really a huge fan of pink generally but it is quite cute. The length of the tankini works well for me and the sides can be adjusted to look ruched. I got the side tie bikini shorts in a UK size 12, which fit me pretty well (I wear a US size 8 pants for most brands).
