Band size was fine. I like stretchy 28 bands or firm 30 bands and this was a stretchy 28. The cups were the right size and shape for me. Not too big, not too little, not too shallow, not too projected, with even projection (neither for FOT nor for FOB). Centre gore is low but cups are not far spaced enough. Go for this bra if you are slightly-moderately shallow, have broad roots, average distance between breasts, and have even fullness (neither FOB nor FOT)
The fit on this is quite awkward on my body. The sides are way too short, and the cups are too deep, and too short. This bra sort of flattens the tops of my breasts in an attempt to push them forward, but what I need is lift from the sides. The seams on the cups show through very tight shirts. For having "padded" cups, it doesn't add bulk, but I think it looks "saggy" under my clothing. The band stretches as the day goes on, so I'm continually shoving my boobs back into the cups.
This bra was a catastrophic failure. Way too much space in the bottom of the cup and massive quadraboob at the top where it sharply (and rigidly) cuts inward. Underwire too high and pokey, straps digging into my armpits, bright white trim on the cup defeating the point of a nude bra... absolutely nothing about the Daily Boost worked for me except the band which was tight enough. If you have boob-shaped boobs, this bra will not work for you.
This bra looked a lot plainer in real life than in pictures, and I was actually quite pleased by it. I don't really like super flashy stuff.
This almost worked for me, but not quite. I got gaping at the top of the cups, and after thinking about it I decided that yeah, the cups were too big. The wires were right, though, so I wasn't too sure about sizing down. In any case, for whatever reason, this bra wasn't eligible for Amazon's exchange program, and the 28D was twice what I paid for the 28DD, so I just returned it.
The band was good. The straps were either ...ok or too wide. The cups didn't quite work for me, and yanking the straps (and therefore the cups) to the side made the cups sit ok, but the straps were too wide. In any case, the cup was squished at one of the seams on the right, and I just didn't fill the cup enough to correct it.
This was the third balconette I tried, and it seems to point to what the others did too: that I need to size down in the cups because the apex of my breasts are just too low for these. Ironically, this also means that I'm not as shallow on the bottom, but my breasts remain wide, shallow, and tall, so who knows what'll work for my boobs. Read more 127 more words
This bikini is odd. First of all, it looks nothing like the photos at online stores. It's the only Curvy Kate anything in a 28 band that doesn't stretch out to 30" or more. It's also for a very weird shape. It demands shallowness at the bottoms of the cups and projection at the tops of the cups. Furthermore the cups are too far apart for even myself. If you're super far apart set and are FOT, this might work. Also the straps are really short. I'm short and the straps are barely long enough for me. Don't get this if you're tall.
This review is for my first and, at the time of writing, only "real" bra which I bought after measuring myself for the first time and making an educated guess as to which model/brand to buy, but hopefully it'll still be helpful.
The band fit great, comfortable and snug, and it did feel supportive. I have small, narrow shoulders and the straps weren't a problem either; they adjusted as needed and sat comfortably without slipping or digging in. The cups were soft and pretty, and the underwire encased my breasts comfortably at the root, as far as I can tell: no poking into my armpits, no cutting off of ...breast tissue.
I do believe I may have a sizing/shape issue as the cups do wrinkle across the front always, and although the top of the cup lies flush against my skin when I'm standing or sitting straight, there's noticeable space the moment I slouch or lean foward slightly. I also noticed that even though the underwire seemed shaped correctly for my breasts, the wire didn't feel very supporitve of them; it felt like the bra was flattening my breasts, not lifting them.
Unfortunately, the only real gripe I have about the bra itself is a pretty major one: The ends of the underwire in the center gore were way too high, possibly too close together, and pressed painfully into my sternum, even after attempting to readjust the straps to rectify the problem (which only resulted in ill-fitting straps). Even if the bra were a perfect fit, I don't think I'd keep it for that reason.
If I were to try this bra again, I think I'd try a 28D as opposed to a 28DD to see if that eliminated the wrinkling cups. Read more 180 more words
This bra is awful! The bottom half of the cup fits, but just barely. I wish there was more projection at the bottom of the cup. The top half of the cup is away too projected for me and there was loose fabric. This bra is for people who are very FOT and need lots of projection at the top and shallowness at the bottom.

This bra is awful! It does not suit my shape at all. It cuts into my breast tissue at the top of the cup, while there is empty space in the centre of the cup. It is good if you have narrow roots, short roots, and are projected. Avoid this bra if you are shallow, FOT, or have tall roots.
I got this one because the 30D I tried a while ago worked pretty okay but the band was too big. Turns out the band was hiding a few fit issues, so I can actually say that this bra doesn't work for me. Too band I can't really return it without crazy shipping costs.
This bra was too small for me in the cup. It was also too shallow, which was surprising, cause I am already fairly shallow. I get empty fabric the bottom because it is too shallow there and I need something that is more projected at the bottom. Go for this bra if you are extremely shallow, have wide roots, and have far-apart spaced breasts. Avoid it if you are projected or slightly shallow.
This bra fit similarly to the Daily Boost, but less room on bottom and more open on top. It was a terrible disaster on me.. I didn't even properly try it on because just putting on the straps and barely adjust them gave me armpit boob because the cups wouldn't hold the tissue, it just pushed it all out. Weird weird weird. I liked the look of the bra though, classic and understated.
I see this bra on zulily all the time and was really hoping it would fit me well... of course not, that would be FAR too easy! It's slightly too projected while being too closed on top. It's really freaking pretty though. I wish it fit me better.
Welp, this was not good on me. Not good at all. In the photos it seemed like the construction might fit me well, when I got it... it was way too big as well as being too open on top. I would try it in the 28D, but I probably won't go out of my way for it as it was overall an underwhelming bra.
Beautiful bra, but gives me quad-boob. I purchased this when I was discovering what bra size I really am (28E-F). This bra almost fits me, despite being a DD. This may be due to the stretchy band. Although it doesn't fit me correctly, it is still very comfortable.
idk if i'm just overtired, but this review cracked me up. i read it to dh but he didnt react at all .. .
