This bra features one of the loveliest and craziest prints I have ever seen and I fell in love with it immediately.
The bra cup a a three part cup with the bottom and outer part being laminated (though it is not the same fabric as in Gia, which felt smoother and even more sturdy), black with flamingos and colourful flowers. The top part is black mesh with pink elastic on top.
The bottom of the cups and band is lined with pink elastic lace and there are matching pink bows at the gore and straps.
Like the Ellace bra, the bra feels like it would be good for nursing ...with the stretchy top part of the cups.
I am happy with the fit of the cups. Compared to older Curvy Kate models, the wires don't feel as insanely wide and there is more room for central fullness.
The band fits true to size in my opinion, which means now that I'm in between sizes I sometimes prefer to use an extender.
I also purchased the matching Brazilian briefs in size 8 - they fit similar to other CK bottoms, which run generally on the larger side in my opinion. Read more 89 more words
This bra has a lovely dark blue colour called accompanied by a light blue elastic on the bottom of the cups and band and matching bows on the gore and straps.
It's a three part cup bra. The bottom and outer part of the cups is two-lined mesh that is not stretchy. The top part of the cups is delicate stretchy lace in the same dark blue colour with an abstract floral-like pattern. It accommodates my upper and central fullness really well and feels non-scratchy (unlike CK Princess lace, which is killing me). There is some risk of in-cup quadding with this bra, fortunately, it's not visible on me ...when I am wearing my clothes on.
With the top of the cups being stretchy, I think it would be great for nursing, as the cups can be pulled down easily, plus there is no risk of cutting in.
There is slight inconvenience with the bottom elastic curling under the band and hurting me sometimes - this is something that happens in all of my bras, so I guess I just need to accept it.
Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. Because of my baby pushing all of my organs up my ribcage is 2 cms larger than before pregnancy, I prefer to wear the bra with an extender some days.
Okay so I just got this bra the day before yesterday (Jun 10). Before I say anything else, let me state that I have not ever found a bra that fits me mostly well. I usually wear a 30J but I'm somewhere between a 28JJ and 28K. Mostly because of my full on top breasts. I find that I have to wear bras with stretch laces to accommodate them, but even then I can have some serious spillage going on.
Okay, on to the bra. I got mine in black and champagne and I love the look of it. From the little beige/champagne bows against the black strap. To the ...elastic lining at the base of the bra. It provides a nice contrast that gives an oomph to the overall look of the bra. Material wise, it feel very sturdy.
On to the fit..Remember how I said I was pretty full on top? And that sometimes I'm still spilling out of the tops? Well no such thing here. If you're talking about spillage being directly above the lace. There is a part in the bra, where the mesh component meets the lace. At that part there is a bulge where the lace is. However, due to where the cut is, it is not obvious when worn under a blouse. I suspect if the lace had started higher up then it would be more noticeable. The true test however comes from when I wear it for a full day. I'll be sure to let you know how that goes. As for the band, it seems pretty firm and true to size, so that's another plus for this bra. The straps are also fully adjustable.
My only real complaint are the heights of the cup, it is directly under my arm pit, and it rubs against my right arm especially. This could be because I'm short (4ft 11inch) so I guess average height ladies won't have that much of an issue with it. I don't know how this would fare on a full day of wearing which is why I haven't specified comfort as yet.
All in all though, I think the bra is a pretty good bet. Read more 253 more words
This bra was very firm in the back, which is certainly a plus for me with my 27" underbust. I actually started this out on the loosest hook for once. Unlike what other women have said, I found it to me more than spacious enough in the cup with a lovely shape and soft padding. Straps are too wide for my shoulders, but this is a common theme.
Bra looks great underneath thin tops and other fussy outfits as the seams are almost invisible.
After owning the bra for several months, I have noticed that the underwires have been designed for someone who is wider than me. A lot wider. ...The wires extend all the way back & around to the flat portion of my back. Also, as a colour comment, placing the white trim on the nude bra & the nude trim on the white bra seems to defeat the purpose of t-shirt, as being busty, my shirts are nearly always stretched & the trim can be quite visible. The bra itself is still in good shape, but I think this style would work better in a size which isn't at the bottom of the band sizes & top of the cup sizes, if the crazy width of my underwires is anything to go by.
Would you mind adding the wing height measurement? I've been struggling with high set breasts, and I'd like an idea of how high the sides run since I can't try one on before I purchase it.
A pretty bra. comfortable enough. Fits for narrower shoulders, but designed for people with wider set boobs than me. Also a little too small in the cup for me, but the largest they go. Comfortable enough for me to wear regardless.
This bra is so very cute. The color combination is awesome in the blueberry coloway, navy with a neon yellow accents. Many thanks to MamaPagan for sending it to me to try. I was pretty sure that this bra would be too big in the cups, and possibly to tight in the band, but it is always worth trying, and adding it here for bra science. This band is a very tight 28, I could barely get it hooked. The cups are too big and wrap around toward my back, and I dont fill the tops. I also think that ...it doesn't have enough immediate projection for me, I need a lot, and it wrinkles and collapses a bit at the bottom. This is a bra I would like to try in the future in a 30 band, and down a cup size, because it is nice and smooth and I think would work well as a t-shirt bra, which are hard to come by in this size range. It also seemed like it would provide good lift. I could deal with the bottom of the cup wrinkling a little in order to wear it under t-shirts. Read more 100 more words
I wanted this tankini to fit so badly since I ordered from the UK and wouldn't be able to exchange it or return it without additional expense. I typically wear a 28J in Panache and read up on the cut of this tankini to determine which size to buy. All reviews mentioned the smaller cup volume so I went up two cup sizes. Unfortunately the band was exceptionally tight and one of my breasts spilled out over the top of the cup and my breast couldn't fill the very bottom of the cup. I would probably fit better in a 30K in this particular tankini. I was also not pleased with how low the front of the tankini was cut as you can see the top of the stark white gore out of the bathing suit and I feel like the gore was relatively low. I will be sending this tankini back and have chosen not to try a larger size as I worry the front will cut down far too low for me.
Pretty bra. Staps fit for narrower shoulders, but cups are designed for someone with slightly wider set breasts than me - as well as the cup being a tad too small.Comfortable enough to wear regardless.

Portia Ribbon is an underwired soft cup (not padded) bra available in a variety of colors. It is similar to Princess in that there is an interwoven ribbon on the top of the cups, but the pattern of the cups on Portia is crossed thatched lines instead of velvet dots.
I have found Curvy Kate quality to be lacking often, and this one tops the cake for horrible quality for sure.
With a band that measured 31.5” flat and stretched to ...45” there is no doubt that is bra is not a true 28K. Seriously. I tried to shorten it, but that failed horribly as there was just too much extra band, and caused too much bunching. I ruined the bra when I attempted to remove this stitching, so the holes in the band on the photos is a result of my attempting to remove my shortening stitch and not how I received the bra, not that it matters since the bra was useless to me either way.
Cup depth was 12” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 14.5” stretched over the knee.
The bra tag said 28K, the label said 28K UK, and the strap label that Curvy Kate does said 28K. As this was a clearance bra from Breakout Bras, I couldn’t return it, but was very disappointed that they sent it when it was clearly not the size. (I ordered 4 bras, so it was obvious that this one didn’t match, so who ever filled my order should be fired for inability to paying attention to detail….and they have permanently lost my business because of this.) While this isn’t the only quality issue I have experienced with Curvy Kate bras, it is the most significant one.
If I was to take a guess as to the actual size for this bra, I’d assume somewhere around a 38G, and obviously not a 28K.

Daily Dream is a padded balcony bra by Curvy Kate. It is available in a variety of colors/patterns, though I got it in Blueberry, which is a medium blue background covered in light blue flowers with yellow centers, and yellow trim. I tried this one in 28K, reviewed here, as well as 30K, reviewed separately. The padding is the typical thin foam lining, without any additional or removable padding. The cups are in the standard 3 sections, one on ...top and two on bottom. I’d call this one more of a cross between a demi and balcony style, as there’s just a slight increase from the center gore to the straps across the top of the cup.
The band measured 21.45” unstretched to a max of 28.25”, and that was really stretching it to the max. My first measurement was only 27” at a comfortable stretch. There are 3 sets of hooks, and 3 rows of eyes.
Cup depth was 12.5” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 15.5” stretched over the knee.
The cup height is 9”, and the center gore is spaced at .875”.

Cascade in Pixie Green is an unpadded underwire bra in a beautiful light green color. The bottom of the cups are solid in color with lace on top.
The band measures 22” to a max stretch of 31.5” with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes, which seems standard on with a K cup.
Cup depth was 13.25” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 15” stretched over the knee.
I bought this tankini and the Curvy Kate Paradise tankini in the same size. This one feels less tight and the cups seem to have more room in them. This is the first cup size specific bathing suit top I have owned and had to fit. The band is a little snug, but I anticipate it will loosen some with wear. Overall, this tankini is pretty comfortable, covering, and cute!
I had my suspicions that this might be too small. I wear it with three extenders, which results in the straps being much too far apart. Since Mr. BF loves the look of this one (especially the spillage, sigh, oh well) I will be hanging on to it. Good golly, is it ever gorgeous! What really wins for me is the ribbon lacing on the side! There's no poking anywhere, it's really very comfortable save for the slipping straps, which I'm sure could be fixed with one of those strap holders.
This bra seems to run a little smaller than some of the other Curvy Kate lines. I probably would have organised an upsize, except there is none. It looks absolutely gorgeous though. I love the ribbon lacing detail on the sides. Straps always sit too wide for my shoulders, so this was not a real surprise.
I started this bra out on the smallest hook, so I'm not expecting to have huge amounts of shelf-life. Which is a pity, as it looks fantastic.
The bra looks absolutely gorgeous on. There's a good length of strap to adjust with, though like a few of the Curvy Kate styles, the straps do seem to have a mind of their own. Straps are too wide-set for me 100% of the time, and this was no exception.
I started the bra on the smallest hook, which I assume is going to limit it's life.
I managed to kill the underwire in this bra after about 8 months use. I only ever hand-wash my bras & hang in the shade- no rough usage, especially not just chucking the bra direct into the washing machine, so I was quite unimpressed to discover that one of the wires was escaping from the centre.
Back to the Princess again. Love the shape, and plus I still have matching panties I haven't killed yet- it's a high-quality set. Straps are still a little slippy for my liking.
Edit: Straps and underwire are both a little wide for my liking, leading to added pressure on my shoulders. The band stretched fairly quickly (I like my bands to be quite firm). Even after several months, the bra provides a nice line under tops/dresses, on the proviso that they're thick enough to cover up the dots.
The fit was waaay off on this one. I'm sending it back and trying it in a 30J. Not sure it'll fit regardless, though- the cups are really wide-set, so they were pushing my boobs under my arms. I also tend not to do well with moulded cups; they just don't conform to the shape of my breasts very well. It certainly didn't help that they were too big up top- I could've fit an extra 2 cup sizes in them!
The band was also TINY- usually a 28 fits me just right, but I could barely fasten this one on the last set of hooks. It is very sturdy fabric, too, so it would take a long time to stretch to fit. :/
We'll see if the 30J fits better! It would be a great everyday bra with a nice rounded shape if it worked on me, so I'm crossing my fingers.
That is such a fun print!
