This is a beautiful bra from a relatively unknown Polish brand that AGBras sent to me to try. Her review is really spot on with the descriptions of the details. It’s a baby blue semi soft bra with a pastel floral print mesh overlay and intricate embroidery. There’s kind of a lot going on. Lol. The embroidery goes partly up the straps which makes them not completely adjustable, and they are adorned with little blue bows like the one at the gore. The band closes with 3 hook settings.
The fit for me is mixed. The band is snugger than I am comfortable with, and ...while I have no problem with the lower foam cups fitting, I lack a little bit of the upper fullness or height needed to fill the top out better as my breasts are quite soft, projected, even to fob, and functionally short. The elastic strip on the top edge of the cups helps close it off some though, and doesn’t cut in as bad as they do with other bras/brands. This fit ends up being mostly round but semi pointy. This shape mismatch might be ok for period swelling but the band snugness would not be.
Alas, I am passing it on with deep sighs. Read more 106 more words
Thank you. It’s sad but I have a silver lining. And super happy to have tried it.
I actually went to their site and somehow managed to navigate despite the language.
Quite an impressive offer, no numbers to match the 46" F or so that I need.
And another detail. Models wear them with straps almost at their longest setting.
Are those rebranded Asia designs ? The site says all is local. Puzzled.
femineaaeterna Dalia is 100% made in Poland ! They import their fabrics from European countries - Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria. They are very well made. I loved this set and because it was so nice could not bare to have it sit unused in my drawer.
I don't know why the models are all shown with straps fully extended. I did not find the straps to be abnormally short (I would notice because as I am quite petite I often have to adjust straps more than halfway.
AGBras , Yes indeed, very well made, finished, I downloaded hi-res pictures and zoomed for details.
Also kind of girly, fresh & lively too.
BTW, rebranded design does not mean rebranded production.
Trade shows also sell designs, complete patterns, bill of materials. That is information on how to get a model going in production.
A win-win case I'm told of frequent use, where all sizes are scaled and "test flying" is done. Just ready to roll.
femineaaeterna I would be very surprised if they use Asian designs. They are famous for their semi-soft bras, which are a Polish invention. That country is VERY proud of their bra-making heritage.
AGBras , Wow, then marv ! That much industry has gone out of the continent, so a full in-house chain is a very respectful achievement indeed ! WIsh them the best!
I'm so pixxed to count how many brands, my homeland included, went out of the dictionary.
I bought it maybe 2-3 yrs ago.. at that time I was new to internet bra shopping.i think Ewa Michalak is making better bras than Dalia. Dalia is using flimsy constructions and worse fabrics and thus is outranked by Ewa in quality. I have maybe two or 3 bras from Dalia and I hated the fabrics.
Oh okay...good to know!
I know there can be such variance is bras.
That's cool you've been internet bra shopping for 2-3 years. Did you just find bratabase recently?
Before I found bratabase/ABTF, I was just wearing poorly fitted Victoria's Secret bras.
Yes ,I'm new here. I found a bra online that looked very appealing, and I was searching some info about it. Thank God I found bratabase , I was just a click away from buying the wrong and completely misfitting bra. I was very thankful that such a place exists and that someone uploaded that pic. It saved me 250 zł :-) i Explored a bit and decided to share pics, hope they will help someone else too.
Because I know, Brastop has some Polish bras (Nessa, Gorsenia, Gaia, Ava) and also this online ebay store.https://www.ebay.ca/usr/other_eden
I'm thinking the boutique bras are higher quality than what they sell on Ebay/Brastop, et. all.
Polish producers may be making quality bras, but polish customers are a second-class market.
Yay and welcome, isn't Bratabase awesome?
I remember many events where I chose a different size than expected, just because of reviews and measurements on here, and usually it worked out well!
Very strange and sad though, that you say Polish bra manufacturers don't consider their own country their best 'market'?
I've wondered about that before; like what the distribution would be for a company like Comexim or Ewa Michalak. How many local versus international customers? Interesting.
Yes, it is awesome place to do research before purchasing a bra and educating yourself about bras. Btw I just bought a Freya Idol 36H .. it will take about 3 weeks till it reaches me, so they will both come along with Apollo Bravissimo 36HH... Yes I shouldn't be boasting just now, but can't control myself :-)
I've never tried Bravissimo, I just ordered comexim direct (Comexim.pl) and also from BreakoutBras.com
Then I saw an Ewa Michalak that I absolutely *had to have* lol at SFYS.com (a boutique in Toronto) so I figured out my Ewa Michalak sizing through that - it took some postage back and forth (with returns), but I got there eventually, lol. Bratabase recommendations were close, but not exact. Fit it a bit subjective, too. (e.g., I like a tight band).
I'mmmm baaaaacccccckkkkkkk!!! Cuba was awesome. I'm tired from travel, and can't cook, so I figured I would try to review at least one of the new Polish brands I tried this month.
As a side note: MamaPagan absolute favorite travel bra ever?
Gorsenia Paradise. Hands down. Sexy A.F. , light, sheer, dries overnight even in the humidity of the tropics. I need them to make it in beige now...
OK. So. DALIA.
Dalia is a new Polish brand to me. I first saw it on a blog and when MagdaBras4you went to the Lingerie Salon in Poland this spring I asked her to ...look for it. She liked it in person and I liked the comments that I read from other bloggers, so we decided to order a set to try.
I ordered a semi-soft, because, well, I have been kind of obsessed with semi-softs lately. I told Magda I must have Polish blood (semi-soft bras are a Polish specialty)
Let me tell you - this bra does NOT disappoint.
Dalia uses forms and their semi-soft is called K24. This particular style is called SKYE.
It is a grey-blue-turquoise matte/sueded knit with multi-colour printed and embroidered net.
Wires are average narrow width. I measured them at 14cm. They flare out just a tiny bit at the top, which I have noticed with many semi-soft styles I have tried, so I would call them a modified U-shape.
The cups are deep and projected. I almost get a tack. It's just the very top of the gore that sits away from my sternum by about 1/2 cm. This doesn't bother me at all, and since I am really between 65G and 65H in almost all brands, I choose to go with the 65G for lift and oomf and accept the lightly floating gore. Remember - I have VERY projected breasts, even at the upper center quadrant, which is why I often have lightly floating gores.
The inside of the cup is soft jersey. The outside is a combination of printed and embroidered mesh(lower, padded section) and embroidered mesh (top, soft section).
The embroidery is different - it's swirly and printed. Look at the pictures and you will understand. It's reminds me of very fine crewel needlework.
The band is firm, double-layered and has nice, even tension with 3 rows of 3 hooks. Elastics are wide and soft. It measures less than 60cm in this size and my stretched length is conservative. It's a 65 band for sure.
Straps are wide, decorated and comfortable.
***I loaded a ton of pictures, with comments to highlight what I believe to be the finest assets of this bra.***
I also have the string/thong bottom which fits TTS for a small and is so incredibly comfortable.
I will definitely buy more from this brand. I am so impressed with this set, for it's fit, look and quality of construction. I can't WAIT for their fall selection as I know they are planning burgundy and plum styles and I am eager to add those colors to my collection. Read more 397 more words
I was really curious to try Dalia, because their designs are absolutely gorgeous! There isn't too much data about their bras here on Bratabase, especially in my size range (36GG-ish). Since one review said the cups ran small, I sized up and ordered two bras (one padded, one semi-soft) and hoped for the best. None of the bras fit, so I'll send them back next week, but if anyone is interested in buying them instead, send me a message https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The process of ordering is a bit of a hassle, as the website ...and all the emails regarding the order are in Polish. They also don't accept PayPal but they have a separate system where you pay by credit card (but not during the usual checkout, only after placing the order). It's a bit confusing to be honest and not really made with international customers in mind, although they do have international delivery. However, I can't complain, it was overall smooth and I received the bras less than two weeks later.
First off, I found it nice that the bras came each in a carton box, and the two boxed fit perfectly in the box the order was delivered in.
The bra itself - the design looks really good in real life. The materials are soft, and I like the piece of transparent lace on the band between the cup and the side boning. I also like that the material on the band has the same pattern as the cups.
Regarding the construction, the cup is made from five separate parts, four to give depth and one on the top. The cup is padded but the material itself is thin so it wouldn't add bulk. The cups are quite high, so are the gore and wings. The wire is similar to EM bras, being U-shaped, with quite a bit of height where the wire is practically vertical. This also means that the gore stays narrow for quite a bit of its height. The wire is also quite firm. The band is made from two layers of material, with an inner layer of stretchy mesh and the outer layer of the same material as on the cups. The bra has side boning.
Regarding the fit, the first thing I noticed is just how narrow the wires are for this cup depth - 15.5cm cup width and the depth is 34.4cm! The cups are deep and they look like they'll give a very rounded profile. The band feels true to size. Read more 327 more words
Dalia Brigitte and Roisin were the 2 K27 colorways that made me fall for Dalia 2 years ago, in 2015. But they belonged to the 2013 collection and were long sold-out in my size, at least in the obvious places. Ah, I was less resourceful then. Imagine my surprise when this Xmas I stumbled upon the beautiful Dalia Brigitte on a Canadian wesbite!
Sizing: The K27 5-part cup bra runs 1 cup size big in my size range. My bra size is 40:6/90:6 or 42:5/95:5 depending on band comfort, but I size down to 90:5 = 90E in this model for it to fit.
Fit/Appearance: Unique "tulip" cup with 4 ...bottom parts closed off with a 5th part is effectively an evolved balconette which can accommodate a bunch of projection at the wire and apex. Gives a lifted and rounded profile. Breasts position on the chest wall is pretty central. The cups are taller/full coverage which makes them great for modesty and people with average to taller roots. I gape at the strap a little.
The bra itself is made of smooth, GLOSSY aqua satin There is sexy sheer embroidered mesh detailing in the gore and right outside the cup before the wing + band section. The embroidered mesh adds decoration but can scratch/irritate the armpit area. Note - there is side boning in the wing which can and will bend on fuller figures. The straps are soft and are nearly 30mm - widest straps I have ever seen - meaning the bra will remain comfortable for G+ cups. However, the strap placement is wide, so it favors wider shoulders.
Availability: The manufacturer delivers to the EU. Many polish lingerie e-store carry them and a number ship internationally. SEE ABOVE for a Canadian distributor.
Thanks for your informative review! This looks like a great fitting bra. I will have to look for a US seller. Your sizing information is very helpful.
"Evolved balconette"-- love your description and the COLOR :-)
Thank you, all! finallygotboobs Eye Kandee Lingerie (linked in review) ships to the US for about $10 USD. Alternatively, I haven't looked for Polish distributors of Dalia who ship to the US in a while - good luck hunting. I import Dalia, Alles and other hard-to-find Polish bras into the US a few times a year so message me if there is something you really love!
This is such a lovely color, and I love the cup construction. Any chance you could measure it? Pretty please? :) :) :)
I saw this sports bra for $120 cad in a Canadian bra boutique, and I realized that I could buy it on Dalia.pl for less money, so I did (they ship to N. America now! I'm not sure when that started b/c I checked last summer, and they didn't ship to N. America at that time). I've had a real struggle finding a sports bra that fits, I did have a good one, but then I kind of out grew it, so I needed to find a new one in my current bra size. Because Polish regular bras work for me, I thought: I will just try a ...Polish sports bra because of my narrow and projected shape.
1) Sizing: I think the sizing on this bra is similar to the Panache wired sports bra where if one is FOB, they should size down 1 cup. I did this and ordered 70J, and it's the right size (as far as I can tell). Technically, because I measure 32GG UK/70K EU, I'm ordering one cup size smaller. Initially, the band was really tight, but it got a lot better after a few wears.
2) Quality: I would say, almost as good an Panache wired sports bra, but for whatever reason Dalia uses a different edge fabric to line the arms, and that fabric is kind of rough on my sensitive skin, I'm not sure if it will soften up with washing though - I'll keep u posted. I compared it to Panache, and the edge fabric Panache uses is softer. For that reason, I could only wear this bra for 3-4 hours max, e.g., I couldn't wear it hiking, but it definitely works as a high-impact bra. I tried to jump around as much as I could indoors (I can't go running outside, because it's like -20C in Canada a.t.m.) and I couldn't really get my boobs to move, so it functions as high-impact for me, in this size.
3) Function: as above, I do think it works as a high-impact bra. Comparing the underwires of the Panache wired sports bra, in 28FF, to Dalia's sport bra in 70J, the cup width is about the same! So that is my issue with the Panache wired sports bra; the wires start to go very wide on the side, and that's not where my breast tissue is!
Another difference between the two (Panache wired and Dalia) is that the shoulder straps are a bit wider on the Dalia sports bra actually (I was surprised!), and I can only wear it comfortably to work out in as a racerback. So, for the time being, this bra works well for me. I can't wait to try it out RUNNING when the weather gets better!
A note on shipping: I noticed that they had written my address *the Polish way* (it's my understanding), like street first and then house number, instead of the way that we write in N. America, which is house number first and then street. So, I did email the office before it got shipped and told her - there's two different ways to write my address... They did end up writing the address like twice (kind of), but the package did still get to me, it was a little repetitive.
This was what the address on the box looked like on the box, if my address was the following: 123 Main St., #4, San Diego, CA 90001 U.S.A. They wrote:
BraOdyssey 4-123 Main St. Main St. 123 90001 San Diego, CA 90001 U.S.A.
It still got to me. I'm not sure if I really needed to email them.
My shape: FOB, projected, soft tissue, narrow roots and shoulders Appearance: This bikini is so darn cute!! (Makes it even worse that it fits me so poorly, wahhh) The fabric print looks like yarn in all kinds of colors: bright reds, oranges, yellows, blues, purples, greens... rainbow yarn print! The majority of the bikini is a bright cobalt blue shade, perfect for summer. At the gore is a hot pink bow. The straps have the same yarn print fabric, as well. The cups are constructed of 4 vertical seams at the bottom, and one horizontal seam across the top. Those extra seams definitely help with projection! Fit: Another huge bikini disappointment. ...https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I have yet to find a swimsuit that fits me! I'm starting to get a little depressed about it. Anyways, the cups are really tall and there's a Grand Canyon of gape-age at the tops of the cups. The wires are not as narrow as I hoped, and the straps dig into my armpits. I think a soft cup bikini MIGHT work better for me, but at this point, I am writing off Dalia as a brand that works for me. Sad, because they have a LOT of super cute bikinis and bras.
Are you any good at sewing? If the bottom half of the cup fits well, then you could easily cut the top of the bikini down to more preferred height for your breasts and then move the straps in some. These are some fairly easy adjustments for bras/bikinis. I'm sure it will be an immensely helpful thing for you to know since your size is so un-common!
I thought about trying that, LeProfessor! It fits well everywhere except the top. I do have a sewing machine, and I have done strap narrowing alterations a LOT recently, but never tried moving around parts of a cup. It's a little scary! I might have my friend, who is a much more experienced seamstress than I am, take a look and see if she can offer any helpful pointers. I really love this bikini, so it might be worth it to try to make it work for me!
My shape: FOB, projected, soft tissue, narrow roots and shoulders Appearance: For a beige bra, this is quite pretty, in an understated way. The cup is constructed of 5 pieces: 4 vertical(ish) seams on the bottom of the cup, and one horizontal across the top. The top part is made of lace, but it is not stretchy, other than the elastic piece sewn across the top of it. The straps are wide - 1 inch - and have matching ribbon halfway up. There are 3 sets of 3 hooks. Fit: There's not much more disappointing than waiting for a month for Polish bras and bikinis, only to have none of ...them fit. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Luckily, this particular style was on sale - I paid 22.94, which isn't terrible, especially for such a well-constructed bra. It is just too tall, and too wide in both wire and strap. If Ewa Michalak straps give you problems, I would not recommend Dalia bras, as their straps are even wider set. (Too wide for me to risk moving them myself.) The wires aren't as narrow as other Polish brands I have tried, either. Overall, I am pretty bummed. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Hopefully I can sell this to someone it will fit and recoup some funds to try something different! The short summary is that this bikini is very narrow, very projeted and the colours are lovely and bright! It doesn't work for my shape, but I would recommend it for the someone who needs more projection, especially in the middle of the cup, and who likes EM-style wires.
Regarding the construction, the cups are made of five parts, four ensuring the lots of cup projection, one on the top. The band is made from one layer of fabric and it closes with a metal clip - which I find sturdier than plastic ones. The wires are narrow and quite hard and quite tall - overall similar to EM. ...
The materials look like they're good quality, but since I'm not keeping it I can't judge how well they survive in the long run. The colours are very bright, the blue is a strong royal blue and the pink is definitely on the neon side.
I also tried the unpadded version of this bra in the same size and I found it to be more minimising / less projected - my bust perimeter while wearing it is almost 5cm smaller than for the padded version.
The sizing for these two bras is consistent and the band is true to size. Regarding sizing, my go-to size is a 36GG UK / 80L in Comexim. This bikini fits a bit big for me, so I'd say it's closer to a 36H.
Review edited to add some information about the matching bottoms, which run small. I got the mini brief in a size M, which measures flat (only the fabric, not the ties) 31cm waist and the height is 22.5cm. I also tried the maxi brief in XXL, which measures flat 39cm waist, 29cm height. Read more 180 more words
Thank you for the detailed review & for adding the inside of the cup picture! I love the 4 lower sections. That would be such a helpful feature on bras for many of us!!!
Just found the photos--smitten. This looks knitted. Awesome print and color.
The knitted-looking pattern is really cool and different! Love it <3 @MamaPagan Oh yes, the four part construction is really nice! The bras named "Big" seem to have the same pattern, at least the other one that I tried did: http://bra.pe/Ii7M/
JulieCS Thank you for that additional info! It is a good thing to know for sure!
I think dalia has the most beautiful designs on the Polish bra market so I am excited to have my first model from the brand. I bought it from the previous owner from Poland. This design reminds me of a spider’s web.
Band: The band is stretchy but runs short (or rather, close to true 60 cm); a perfect fit on my 26 underbust.
Shape: Fairly shallow all over and especially so at the centre bottom above the wire. It is too incompatible with my heavy bottom projection; it creates an inch of unfilled space (a little more than seems reasonable to allow). The cups are just ...slightly closed on top with the apex occurring near the top. I am even or slightly FOT with tall roots and generally need an open shape, and this bra is not too closed for me. The gore is low enough for my lack of space between my breasts.
Feel: This bra worn without cookies did not give me the titular push-up effect, but it was very supportive. The cookies it came with are thick and the bra is already shallow, so that’s a recipe for extra special cleavage if you seek it. The cups have the soft real cotton fabric on the inside like Comexim and EM padded bras but they are slightly thicker and firmer and so less pliable and shape-accommodating than Comexim and EM padded cups.
Misc: The straps are firm. Then wires have average/moderate firmness. There is firm side boning. Read more 141 more words
This Polish company, Dalia, makes a a very good semi-padded bra with cups that go up an equivalent of a UK K-K called the "semi-soft K24". It comes in various names, (Kaszmir, Loretta, Olimpia, Madalen) but only the colour and the type of the lace changes, the cut is identical. (note that not all the K24 models come in these bigger sizes.)
So far the all Ewa Michalak bras I've tried are just wrong for me - they don't give enough support and push the boobs just too far out in front, plus, I spill over in the middle. But the Dalia Kaszmir bra does for ...me what I've heard others rave about in the EM bras - it lifts the boobs way up and out, but not too much so, it gives a nice rounded but natural shape and is supportive. True, not as supportive as say my Panaches - by this I mean you can the boobs wobble when I walk, and I like them to be very firmly anchored. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> But for the shape, I can live with this.
I'm not crazy about the look - the lace is pretty but I prefer bolder, slicker designs.
The 65L is my second Kaszmir, after the 65LL got a big too big in the cups. The size is comparable to Panache Tango II and Panache Fern in 30JJ. The band is pretty stretchy. My very unfirm boobs sometimes spill over in the middle, and I have to readjust during the day, but this is normal for me.
I strongly recommend trying this bra, especially for those bigger-cupped girls who find EM bras don't work for them.
I am adding a caveat some time after writing the original review. I changed the Comfort grade from Good to Okay - I realized that after a full day of wearing this bra (which I usually don't do but have recently) my shoulders are very sore - the bra straps become very uncomfortable at some point, leaving painful indentations. So I wouldn't recommend it as a an everyday bra for someone with breasts as heavy and unfirm as mine. Still gives a great shape and good comfort for a shorter period of time.
Dear Adamantia, I am a newbie to Polish bras and just discovered the Dalia's K27 5 part tulip cup bra design. Unfortunately, the Dalia e-store ignored my emails about US shipping, Dalia never shows up on eBay, and twoja bielizna doesn't seem to ever stock my size (95E). After several months of trying to come up with a solution, I have had no luck. Would you be open to ordering this bra for me in exchange for fair compensation? I would really appreciate it and would welcome any advice!
This is a closer fit than the 75J, but the band is firmer, the left cup will eventually fall out and the right seems to be well contained. The gore does not tack but only about an inch off my chest. It is not in my armpits (a legit miracle I'm telling you)
mamacatts I gotta ask how you got Dalia bras in the US. Where did you get them from and how was the shipping cost?
I ordered them directly from Dalia and I have tried to return them twice and it’s been returned twice after making it all the way to Poland. I’m almost at the cost of the bras themselves! So I gave up and I’m trying to sell them here or eBay. (I’m not new to overseas mailing, I’ve been penpalling since I was 16 - so 20plus years but Polish post is absolutely awful!)
Band fits very nicely. Very soft and snug without being too tight. The cups do not fit in either breast. Specifically more obvious is my right or smaller side. The gore does not tack, about a 2 inch gap. The cups and straps also in my armpit. Very soft and nice material.
I desperately wanted to love this bra. The straps are heavenly wide. I felt so lifted, however as you can see due to my irregularity in breast sizes the left breast, again doesn't play well! I had much cut into the top of my breast and spilled out. I was concerned with the band as it's a Polish brand, I've heard they run tight compared to American standards, however I'm happy to report his one at first felt tight when I attempted to fasten it but upon getting it on, it was a comfortable tightness and felt very supportive. So it appears in this brand that 75 does equal a 34 US band size. Cup size is I.
MagdaBras4you has a Dalia semi-soft sitting on her desk for me right now! I can't wait for her to send it, so I can try it and review it for all of you!!
I have been told by a Polish lingerie blogger that they have narrow, deep cups, so I am hopeful.
The photos that Magda sent me show a stunningly beautiful bra with colorful, detailed embroideries and wide, decorated straps and a 3-hook closure in my 65G size (only Ewa has "given" me that).
Let's hope, shall we?....
@aprilgoulding Ohh I hope it fits you! I don't know much about Dalia but it seemed big to me? Maybe that's what your Polish blogger friend meant haha, because the cups felt pretty deep! Perhaps I'll have to add pictures for reference? 😊
DerangedDragons19 measurements will help too - depth ratio all the way, darling!!
For example, a bra with 15cm wide wires and 24 cm depth fits NOTHING like a 13.5cm wire with 24cm depth :) On the first bra, I am bending wires...on the second one, I am spending that time sipping wine :P
I would say this 75 (34) is closer to a 70 (32) in band size. As usual in a lined bra, I do not fill the cups. The left side is too large for my larger by one cup size breast and my smaller right side is naturally too small. The gore does not tack. Fabric is soft as usual and would be perfect for long term wearing. Not too much in my armpit.
The band is tighter than the soft cup, so I would say this is more of a 32 (70) band than a 34 (75). The cups are okay for my left side but as a center full I would fall out, and the right side is far too large. The gore does not tack. Fabric is very comfortable. No itchy lace feeling.
This band is more like a 75 EU than an 80 and the cups are too large for me. I can fit my fist in side with my breast (on top) and it would still be covered by the cup. The gore on this is more flat than the soft cup in the same brand. As usual the material is extremely soft and non itchy. Love the material.
I love the fabric. It's very soft and not poky and I'm extremely clothing sensory, a really annoying quality when you have large breasts! Both cups are too large, gore does not tack. Right (smaller side) is poking in armpit area. Much larger in the band, obviously but had to go on the last hook and I'm normally a 34 in band.
Okay, I brought this bra on super sale (50% off) on Dalia.pl not for myself, obviously it's not my size, it's for my sister. Well, it's kind of for me b/c I wanted to examine what a Dalia bra is like, I only have one of their sports bras. If you're interested, I did a little write-up how to order from Dalia https://www.reddit.com/r/PolishBras/comments/rvbhzj/how_to_purchase_from_the_dalia_website_its/, it was painless.
I digress, this is such a cute bra in a matrix size. I pulled out an old V.S. bra and there is no comparison as far as construction; the Dalia bra has much, much better construction. The devil is in ...the details? I guess b/c the Dalia bra is lined with elastic along the wings (both top and bottom) so the band doesn't stretch out as fast, unlike the band on the V.S. bra.
I can't really compare the two because this Dalia bra is a padded push-up; it has removable cookies and the cups are lined with a soft knit fabric, unlike the V.S. bra which just has foam dome cups. The Dalia bra is also lined with elastic along the cups near the armpit (not sure if one can picture this) so that the cups adhere to your body better; I just looked at all of my other Polish bras (Ewa Michalak and Comexim) and they all have this added detail, too. So, the molded foam dome bras skimp out on a lot of sewing, obviously.
I know they've sold out of it, but this particular bra has removable straps so it's a multi-way bra technically. My only criticism would be (granted, I'm not trying it on) that the straps are a little thin, but I guess this is common (or even desired?) in the smaller cup sizes: it's not like this bra has to hold up boobs my size, lol. But I noticed for this other review https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnlrp/ a couple weeks ago, the bratabaser said that the shoulder straps were actually quite thick, so I guess it depends on bra size : )
The outside of the cups are lined with soft satin fabric. The bra is cute as buttons. If my sister doesn't wear this, I'm sure she'll just pass it on to another relative, or maybe Poshmark. I know technically not for me, but I still added it to bratabase, I was curious about Dalia bras. It was only $15 on clearance, what a steal! Read more 306 more words
I'm sorry it didn't work out. It's very lovely.
