Beautiful bra, but too big for me. The bra seems to be well constructed and good quality. The seams are very prominent, but that could be because I'm not filling out the cups properly. It's a bit of a struggle to adjust the straps because the sliders are very tight. On the plus side, that means they won't be sliding down during the day.
Oh no, I ordered this in a 28F but they sent me a 30F https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I don't even have to try this on to know it is way too big. Although I think in my real size it would be too closed on top for my tall roots. Low, narrow gore. Pretty cream colour! Nice wide-ish straps. TTS, sturdy band. Wings have solid boning things inside... what are those called? I can't return this so I'll list it and hopefully my misfortune at least becomes someone's ABTF.
Me: tall roots, close-set, average or narrow width, even but functionally FOT, centre-full, size asymmetry. 26" and 34" leaning. 28E/F 26F/FF.
Totally the wrong size for me as you can clearly see from the pictures. Major quadboob. I can't say how comfortable it is as it is totally the wrong size. The cups aren't quite smooth
I bought this bra. A long time ago (maybe a few years ago) but never wore it. However recently I decided to give it another try and am quite happy with it. The back seems good, although is best on the middle hook. The wires are great. They seem just the right width and shape for me and are very strong. The cup is good, although not amazing. However, I find it hard to find a non moulded cup that works for me, so I am happy with this as I can't find anything better. It is a plunging shape and gives me a nice, subtle cleavage. However the shape is a little strange from the side- I wouldn't wear this bra with tight tops for example.
This was the first bra I brought after discovering my proper size, I got it preloved from Ebay for less that a fiver, as I wasn't quite convinced by my measurements. I have since grown out of it. Right from the start there were problems, the band felt the same as my old 34s and was far too loose even on the tightest hook, I don't know if that was because it was second hand, but to be honest I think even brand new I would have needed to go down a couple of sizes. Then there was the back fat... Now I have back bulges ...with every single bra I own and have ever tried on, but this was really, really bad, not only did it look like someone had stuffed a couple of large sausages down the back of my top, my back upper armpit/lat muffin top was quite astonishing, This was caused by wings/back not being wide enough for me and by the thick elastic on the top and bottom of them digging in to my back, the single layer of mesh fabric in the middle of the wings is not sturdy enough to reign in the resulting bulges. This is a problem I have with a lot of bras regardless of the band size or placement on my back. My next problem was the shape, although the cups fit they made me very pointy, so much so that I was paranoid that people were staring at my boobs when I went out, and there were definitely some armpit bulges that kept escaping, but again I have yet to find a bra in any size that I don't have that problem with. Surprisingly given the fit issues this bra was very comfortable, especially as I had been wearing the wrong cup size for the last 20 odd years, I ended up keeping it and wearing it around the house until I grew out of it, although the band obviously was too loose to begin with it didn't seem to stretch out any more, the bra also survived regular machine washing and tumble drying with no obvious ill effects, (not something I recommend). Given the poor fit there is no way I would have paid full price for this bra. Read more 276 more words
