    Didn't fit

I picked up this random DELIMIRA bra from Amazon because I thought the design looked nice, and the price was very reasonable. Amazon's bra brands have been very hit or miss, but I decided to try this and one other style from DELIMIRA to see if it could be a good option for those who don't want to spend much on their bras and can fit into a matrix size range.

This is one of the few DELIMIRA styles offered in a 30 band, so I started off with ordering my standard sister size of 30DD. I thought that this bra looked really familiar but I couldn't ... quite pinpoint it until I realized the cups fit me like a Wacoal bra that I tried in the past and didn't work out. After looking around, I realized that this is an exact dupe for exact dupe of the Wacoal Embrace Lace Underwire T-Shirt Bra (853191) (http://bra.pe/MB17/), down to the colorway I ordered, Black #1, which is black with ivory and black embroidery.

This is pretty blatant copying, but I guess I'm not surprised given the types of things that proliferate Amazon. The good news is that the measurements are identical, so if Wacoal molded cup bras work for you, this is a viable dupe, though I would say the quality doesn't feel quite up to par with Wacoal's. However, after trying this bra, I think I can safely conclude that Wacoal molded cup bras don't suit my shape.

The band is pretty TTS for a 30 band, and feels reasonably firm considering that it is made from lace. However, the cups for me were a big problem, both in volume and shape. In my experience and verified by looking at measurements here, Wacoal's cup size runs about half to a full size larger than normal. In this bra, I found that the cup width and depth were fine, but the cups were proportioned to be too tall. This means in order to get the upper part of the cup to fit, the bottom of the wire is sitting too low and there is visible emptiness at the bottom of the cup. I can't pull up the cups to have the wires sit in my IMF because they are just too tall for my body, so there's nowhere for them to go. In addition, the height of the cup also means that it's too wide at the top, cutting into my armpit area, and the strap placement becomes a problem as well. Based on this, I don't think Wacoal bras are suitable for petite wearers or people with short torsos for this reason. I have previously tried the Wacoal Lace Affair in 30D when I was a 28DD/30D and had a similar problem with the cup proportions not being right, so I don't think these styles suit me.

Fit aside, this is a pretty decent bra. The cups are made from smooth microfiber, and the foam is soft and comfortable. The shape is rounded and projected. The two tone lace on my bra goes throughout the cradle and the band, and is of decent quality, though it doesn't look as nice in person as I expected from the photos online. The straps are standard skinny straps found on most matrix-branded bras, and have a slight picot edging. Straps on this style are fully adjustable. There are no other trims or decorations.

If Wacoal molded up bras work for you, you have a long torso, and you aren't bothered by buying blatant knockoffs, this could be a decent option at a very affordable pricepoint!
