My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle

This review is for the Queen Violet/Plummage colorway.


I looooooove this bra. It is so so so cute, I am totally enamored with how cute it is. I wish there were more bright colors for me to get because I would (solid colors, like the turquoise "Plummage" color with maybe lime green or dark blue ruffles, or orange with pink ruffles. I do not like the floral print). The ruffles are the best!

It fits great, lifts nicely, gives a lovely shape, and doesn't dig in the center. The push-up padding is also well-done and ... cups the side of the breast instead of pushing up on the bottom, and the cup is still able to fully contain all my breast tissue.

There is literally nothing bad about this bra. It makes me want to go around shirtless because of how adorable it is. It is absolutely my favorite. I only wish the shorts had matching ruffles. Well done, DKNY.


6 month update: Still in love! The band is slowly stretching, which makes me sad, but I can take it in eventually, so whatever. Still want to show it to everyone. Love, love, love.

I have this in the leopard print. A saleswoman handed it to me while I was in the fitting room (it was on sale), and it's something I'd never have picked out for myself, but man, did I ever like it once I tried it on. Super cute!

While it's not perfect, this is also the best fitting bra I've found since discovering my new size. The straps still sit a bit too wide, but it doesn't bother me as much as in other bras. I'd be interested in trying it this one in a 30DD or even 30DDD, since I should actually fit that band size a bit ... better, but I'm wearing this one on the loosest hook right now, and it's staying put really well despite being able to fit more than two fingers between it and my skin (I could technically wear it on the tightest hook, but then I get some breast tissue spillage). Also noticed yesterday that the underwires seem to be angling away from my skin around the outsides of the bra. Still looks and feels fine, but it wouldn't give a smooth silhouette under a tight shirt. Maybe another sign that I need to size up in the cup?

I don't really like the look of the scanty little lace edge. It did NOT show under a tight t-shirt, however.

This bra is not actually a technical "good fit" but it is very comfortable. I can just wear it without having to adjust or notice discomfort. The band is on the looser side and of course the cups do not have enough depth at the wire, consequently, they settle down lower that my IMF. (because, yes, it's a molded cup)

I thought this bra would be great but it isn't fitting the best. After getting Comexim and Ewa Michalak this bra doesn't feel as I would wish. I think it is also one cup size large amongst other issues for my particular body.

My search for a plunge that fits well enough for two hours continues. This is the fourth 458000 I have owned: it has admirable characteristics.

You will notice my previous reviews labeled this bra as wide and shallow. After 170+ bras, I stand corrected. The wires are average in width and the immediate projection is good as is the apex projection. This bra is designed for taller roots and less center-full breasts. Shorter roots will find gaping near the strap. And, center full breasts will quad. The lift, however, is excellent.

It has lovely, subtle details that I appreciate such as a small, shimmering tulle ruffle along the top of cups and base of band, stretch lace side panels, and double straps (front half of strap). The padding is sufficient to hide prominent nipples. Although this is too small for me, it gently lifted my FOB breasts into round mounds. The gore, straps, and band are quite comfortable.

This review is for the black colorway.

Also of note, I tried on a white one, which seemed looser in the band, but smaller in the cup. This 32DDD in black felt the same in the band as the 30DDD in white that I tried on, so the black *might* be a snugger fit (band on this 32 only stretches to 31", although it's still new).

I'm not a fan of the lace edging, but can't feel it and it doesn't show under shirts. I'm also not a fan of how the bra looks on its own, but it gives a pretty good shape with a shirt on, ... and doesn't show as much as I thought it would (ie, under the arms, etc.). It is a slight push-up.

With a few more wears, I believe the cup *is* too small. I find I don't wear it very often, partly because most of my shirts are cut too low...and partly because I think it cuts into tissue a bit on the sides, simply due to it being a bit too small. Currently deciding between keep and swap.

Very comfortable and looks greater understanding all shirts. Breasts are shallow athe the top but this just fits
