This was one of the first bras I bought that fit after my breasts grew when I was 23. And it fit great but now my boobs are bigger so I'm busting out. I am not sure what size to try next. According to my measurements I should be 32G but that seem huge. How much bigger should I go.
Dont be afraid of letters! If you do your measurements like this website says, your breast perimeter should be about the same as the cup depth.
If you look at the bras under my profile listed for 2014 (many no longer owned, but photos are still there) that is a 32G. I actually am more projected than average which makes me look bigger than I am. I'm busty, but I don't think I'm huge :-)
I have this in the leopard print. A saleswoman handed it to me while I was in the fitting room (it was on sale), and it's something I'd never have picked out for myself, but man, did I ever like it once I tried it on. Super cute!
While it's not perfect, this is also the best fitting bra I've found since discovering my new size. The straps still sit a bit too wide, but it doesn't bother me as much as in other bras. I'd be interested in trying it this one in a 30DD or even 30DDD, since I should actually fit that band size a bit ...better, but I'm wearing this one on the loosest hook right now, and it's staying put really well despite being able to fit more than two fingers between it and my skin (I could technically wear it on the tightest hook, but then I get some breast tissue spillage). Also noticed yesterday that the underwires seem to be angling away from my skin around the outsides of the bra. Still looks and feels fine, but it wouldn't give a smooth silhouette under a tight shirt. Maybe another sign that I need to size up in the cup? Read more 97 more words
I fit more snug in the 32C, but since my left breast is larger I find this size works better, especially when boob swelling hits during my period. You can read my full review and see more pictures under the 32C >> 32C - Dkny ยป Superior Lace Balconette Bra (4500)
Way too wide in the center gore for close set breasts. If I took in the gore so the wires were touching in the center, then the cups would be slightly too narrow for me. The cups have a little bit of an upturned/ski slope shape to them so there's likely some empty space above the nipple if you have conical breasts.
My breasts are narrow but sizable, and this is the only bra I have which has wires that actually follow the outside edge. Everything else I've found that's close to my strap and breast size has been too broad. Sadly, my breasts are also a bit close-set, and the front clasp makes the gore a bit too wide, so it digs into the inside part of my larger breast a bit (not that much because the gore is very short, thankfully). It also doesn't come in my band size of 28-30, which means I had to settle for a larger band.
Other than that, the lace and straps aren't ...scratchy and don't dig in. I'm happy it's a razorback because most of my bras the straps slip off my shoulders no matter how much I tighten them, but that's not the case with this one. It's overall comfortable to wear. I don't recall if it was like this when I got it but the brim of the cups curves out (away from the breast) a bit, which makes noticable lines under thin, fitted shirts, so I wouldn't wear it under that.
Despite the minor flaws I've mentioned, this is my favorite bra because of the lack of strap slippage, the fact the wires actually follow my breasts, and the lack of anything pokey or uncomfortable. Read more 115 more words
I found this bra on clearance at Nordstrom Rack for a good price so even though its a smaler cup than i usually wear i had to try. I also had this bra in nude in a 32DD to try on. I tried the nude first and it was okay, but perhaps a bit big or too tall i can't remember now. I got to this one and it seems to be decent, no quad boob just straps aren't fully adjustable so i cant tighten it enough. I plan to alter the straps and hopefully it will stay in my IMF better. For the price I'm willing to take the chance on it
similar to the DKNY plunge that I have, this 32 band is tight enough on the tightest hook to provide good support. I do not have quad boob in this cup like I do in the plunge and gore is almost flat against my chest. The depth of this cup is really surprising at 8 inches. I have worn this bra all day without any issues. Its a keeper!
Even though this is a 32 band, it is tighter than VS size 32 and fits me better. This bra is super soft and comfortable and gives really amazing cleavage! I might really need a 32DD/30DD but since I only paid about $15 for this bra in a really good sale at my outlet mall, I'm fine with wearing it on the tightest hook from the start.
I bought this bra when before I had a proper fitting. If it fit, I could see myself wearing this everyday! It's is very comfortable. The band is snug and not too tight. The material is smooth and there's not a scratchy spot anywhere. It's well padded and the padding is a smooth graduation to the edge. I would love to keep it but it's a cup size too small for me.
This is my best fitting bra right now, but unfortunately it's discontinued. I have shallow, conical, FOB (from weight loss) breasts and have a lot of trouble finding bras that both have wide enough underwires and don't gape horribly at the top. I still don't fill out the top of this bra, but the top edges lie against my skin, so no one but me can tell that it's empty up there. It gives a pleasantly busty, rounded appearance under clothes. (Nothing extreme, just a surprise after wearing the wrong size for years, and it's bustier than my other 32D bras.) It's comfortable all day. The only bad thing is that the band has stretched a lot in the last month (I'm wearing it every other day) and I worry that it will be too long soon.
Haven't worn this bra out yet but snagged it at a Goodwill for $4.99! so I had to get it. Fits great for a bra with foam boobs already built in. Fills out my bust line and makes me look hourglass-like.
Super cute. I really liked it, but the store did not have my size. I think it would fit great if I had the right size, so I'd guess it is sized accurately.
When I first tried this on, I thought the cups were too big, but after adjusting the straps a bit, they seemed to fit fine. The biggest issue for me was that the straps seemed too far apart. They weren't falling off my shoulders, but I felt like they might.
This bra is too bid in the band, but the cups are ridiculously comfortable. The straps always fall off my shoulders because they're so wide set... Overall, I'd say this bra is nice, but not for extensive wear.
Overall, surprisingly comfy bra. It is a pushup bra, so it is heavily padded and creates generous amounts of cleavage on my breasts (which have about 3 fingerwidths' of sternum between them); but it does so -- magically! -- without squeezing or cutting into breast tissue anywhere. I think it is the heavy padding which enables this magic to happen. Be aware that the padding adds 1-2 cup sizes to your appearance.
I've never worn it as a strapless bra, and didn't actually realize it was a convertible bra until today. This explains the one minor nit I have about this bra -- the shoulder straps are rather narrow, ...and can be a little uncomfortable sometimes. This is not a big problem for me, but I think it would be very annoying for larger-breasted women. However, due to the large amounts of padding, I think I am near the upper end of cup sizes that would find this a desirable bra.
To sum up: if you are a DDD or below, your breasts are somewhat wide-set, and you want to create lots of cleavage without sacrificing comfort, check this bra out. Read more 81 more words
