    Hasn't set fit

An interesting one in the series of "oldies but still wearable". With a history.

Think of it, how many bras were purchased at the canteen of a car factory ? Well, this ons is.

I had business at Opel, quite a huge plant indeed with plenty of female workforce. Those factories are big to the point of selling essential commodities at would be mini-markets by their canteens. Even better, at sponsored by the company prices ! Wow. Obviously could not miss the occasion, never mind the size. A bra at the cost of a soda or so.

Back then, it was a surprisingly good fit. Now quite overwhelmed. Actually a pretty ... stretchy low range support bra with a very high tolerance to band sizing mishaps.

Which it achieves by exemplary well mastered light weight yet quite deep wings that never collapse, no matter the abuse. My guess is that the junction between cups and wings and their curvature is where the magic happens. The U back does what it says.

No matter how loose or tight, it wil not collapse even if it rides a bit up when abused.

A delight to wear even now where it's blatantly too small for what I have. Very appropriate in sweaty hot days and workspaces. Handwashes and dries in a heartbeat.

Straps are a bit on the stretchy side and need tension to cope sith bouncing. Cups on the pointy side, I guess it needs more in the upper portion of breasts.

Proved very durable, still responsiive and fresh as back then, quite a handful of years ago.

Overll a great never aging classic, here it's actual version:

A nice lightweight bra with a freindly feeling, even if I should't, still like to be inside on easy going weekends like today.

      What a fun bra backstory!

And here I was thinking how nice it is that in Quebec we can buy wine at the depanneur (convenience/ corner store) and there you are buying beautiful classic bras in factory convenience shops. Lol...

Oh Yes AprilGoulding , the famous Canadian "depanneurs", heard many times of, albeit never been there to experience the ambiance.

In Germany industrial areas never sleep. No weekend, no holiday, just 3 x 8 hours shifts. Surrounded by gas stations, in fact mini-malls open round the clock. Eerie !

At any time one can order breakfast, dinner, souper.

Those factories are like battleships. Quite autonomous cities where time has a different meaning.

A copious 3 course meal + non alcohol (alcohol = no no) beverage at the canteen would cost 4 to 5 dollars, big sodas were 20 cents, coffee machines poured capuccinos for 5 or so cents.

I got this bra in a plain plastic pouch for about 3 bucks or so, what you'll pay for a soda in a restaurant outside of the plant. Crazy !

All was made so the workers could give their best. No-nonsenscal, down to earth "we appreciate your contribution" feeling.

Right, this bra, despite the years, means a lot to me. How many workers wore this model ? Hard to tell but guess given it's quality and price, guess, many.
