This bra is a must try if you have back and/or shoulder problems!

For reference I wear a 36J in Panache, a 36JJ in Elomi, a 36HH in Freya Hero (not sure about other models).

This bra has saved me. I have a kind of arthritis in one of the joints of my collar bone that sometimes just cannot handle having ANY weight on my shoulders (like not even a heavy necklace). So when it get's bad, bras become a BIG problem.

I didn't think I would ever find anything strapless in my size that would actually hold up my boobs but this bra does! I was fitted in a store ... (Brava Woman in Sydney), which I don't usually do because I already know my size but I'm so glad I tried it because I would have never thought of trying a 42G.

I think I would be happier with a 38 or 40 for my rib cage but unfortunately I have a bit of a tummy and because this is a very long long-line I need to size up otherwise it's too tight further down. I find that with the 42 if I use the closest hooks on the top two rows then this makes it a bit tighter at the top. Because it's quite tight further down and because of the boning this bra still manages to hold my boobs up very well even with the larger back.

The bra does gape outwards from my chest in the cups, they are not empty gaping, I just feel like it needs to be pulled in at the back - this might be because I had to go up a few sizes as mentioned above. The gore sits away from my chest but this is a small price to pay to not be in pain and it is not uncomfortable in any way.

The shape is very pointed and retro, def not round, but it gives impressive cleavage for a strapless. The appearance is really elegant and high quality.

The boning does dig into my ribs a bit if I'm sitting and don't sit up straight, but I guess that's just good motivation to have good posture!

The lift is fantastic for a strapless bra. My breasts are very much lifted, no sag at all. I'm quite impressed with this as my boobs are large and heavy!

If you have back problems and need a strapless bra that is supportive to wear on days when you can't handle straps you should definitely consider trying this one - and don't be scared off if they don't have your size - experiment! I find that even with a much larger back size than normal (and smaller cup size) I still get great support.

    • I did not realise Brava had opened a branch in Sydney. I may have to go check it out at some point! It's probably a waste of time owing my size, but I can fit it in with other fun central Sydney things like a visit to Kinokuniya (bookstore).

This looks like it's a great strapless if you fit (or even mostly fit) into the size range. Because a boned longline like this distributes the weight of your breasts over a wider area, I imagine it would be super great for taking the weight off your shoulders.

Ereshiy Brava took over the More than a Handful shop that's near town hall. I find they have more in stock since the change and their fitting and general customer service has improved vastly.

    • I only went to More Than A Handful once some years ago as they didn't really wow me with customer service or options in my size at the time. It's nice to hear that customer service and range have improved! People seem to be positive about Brava's Melbourne area stores, so hopefully some of this has been passed on to the new Sydney store.

I'm still not really in a size which is financially viable for a brick and mortar store to stock, but it's definitely worth having a peek. If nothing else I might be able to pick up some bra accessories or nice hosiery, and there's plenty to do on a day trip in Central Sydney.

I been wearing Elila Jacquard Soft Cup Bras (Front Hook and Back Hook) for a number of years. I needed a longline for a "Formal Dress" and purchased the Elila Front Hook Longline bra. The bra is easy to put on with the Front Hooks, also makes my back smoother. Hard to find Longline bra's that is available my cup size "J". This bra is available in a "G cup so I had to go up a band size and down a cup size to 42 G, fits fine. The quality, support and fit and fantastic!
Received many compliments when I wear this bra under my dress!
