Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. This is the most beautiful bra I have ever had the privilege to wear!
It's supposed to be a 32C, but the band runs very tight and is quite supportive. I have a 28" rib cage and I can fit two fingers under the band on the loosest hooks. Very nice! The shape it gives under shirts is wonderful, even if the embroidery shows through. I don't care. This bra is too beautiful for it to matter.
The cups are a bit small for me, but I am a 28E/30DD in most bras, so that is no surprise. I think this would fit a shallow 28DD the best, though a taller person would fare better. The straps are not fully adjustable https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This is probably more of a fashion bra than a supportive bra... but its beauty, I think, makes it totally worth it.
I have a deep blue and grey version. The bra is very pretty. It is very comfortable, the pads are thin (which I prefer). I don't know if it's typical of the brand, but they fit very small comparing to the size on the label. I usually am a 28D/30C and this one is a 32C. I tried the 32B that looked a bit better on me because the cups were smaller and fit my small frame better but they were a bit too small to be as comfortable as the 32C.
This bra is so cute but unfortunately the cups are too projected for me (I fit shallow, wide cups best). My roots are short so I can't fill up the top of the cup at all. Also, despite my other Elle Macpherson bra having fairly wide underwires, I found this one to be too narrow, cutting into my breasts at the sides. Likely won't be keeping.
Found this bra while browsing through Poshmark. Gorgeous! Had to order it immediately. First thing I noticed when I received it was the underwire is fairly wide. I have conical breasts that are almost 4 fingers separated from one another, so I look for shallow cups with wide underwires. I was excited thinking this bra was going to be perfect for me, but unfortunately the cups were still the slightest bit too deep. If I stand up straight then the bra looks perfect (the extra wide cups keep my larger breast from spilling out!), but once I start to slouch it's much more obvious that I don't fill in the ...cups, especially since I have somewhat short roots. The straps are fairly thin; not the usual 1 centimeter we get . Also, when I first tried to tighten up the straps I realized they were already shortened to their max. When loosened up, they were insanely long. May have to see about altering this. Despite the not so perfect fit, the bra is so pretty that I will keep it for special occasions. Read more 71 more words
Thanks to the kind and generous user Scharminkeltje, I was able to try on this bra. It was a very pleasant surprise that this bra fits as well as it does (regular size 28D). The band was tight (for a 32) even though it was used. The cups are very open at the top and shallow at the bottom. I don't have tall roots so the top of the cups gape just a tiny bit but doesn't really affect fit. Perhaps altering the band will help. The gore isn't too wide but comes up high between my close-set breast. The wires are narrow/average. I don't have wide breasts so it's not an issue. Straps are only half-adjustable so high-set breasts may have an issue with the length.
Overall, it's not perfect but a decent fit. Good aesthetics.
The band is strong, short and wide, ideal for a snug fit since the bra is designed to be worn strapless as well as multiway. It has three column hooks in three rows on the wide back band, all great for a secure fit.
But it has such a strange fit for its size! Mine is labelled a 32C, but despite having a 28 inch rib cage (and usually wearing 28 bands or 30s on the inner most hook) I can't even get the band done up! I can fasten it on the outermost hook using a standard three column extender only. This way, I confirmed the cups are a good fit on my 28dd shallow breasts (wide breasts, rather than tall), apart from being a little too narrow in the wire. I have wide breast roots I believe.
It is a moulded bra, but does not have built up padding and gives a nicely rounded shape.
In summary, I think this bra might actually be great for sub 28 bands, with average breast root width.
This bra is beautiful I have it in the Black/Insignia Blue combo and its lovely! This bra also gives me major cleavage without quad boob. It has very defined boning that lifts the breast.
This doesn't look smooth under clothes (but with cleavage like this who cares) https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band seems to run a little snug and closer to a normal 30 band. I also tried this in a 32D.
I would suggest this in your sister size (one band up and one cup down) should fit beautifully. If you are wider set you might also try one cup up in the same band size to allow for the bra to be more centered on your body (This bra seems to run a little closer together in the middle.)
This isn't the correct size for me, but I wore it for a long time because I really like the wide separation of the cups - I have very separate boobs. The gore is also nice and low so it doesn't dig in. The wires go up high enough on the sides for me, but they could be angled a bit wider for a better fit. Overall, I quite liked this bra and wish they made it in my size - it gave a smooth appearance under clothes and rounded out my pointy boobs nicely. It also held up really well for the year or so that I wore it.
This is totally the wrong size for me, but I can still say some things about the make of this bra. It would be good for boobs that are not widely separated, and gives some good lift. I do like the shape of it, which is unusual for bras with 3 part cups for me. Several seams on this bra have frayed a bit, on the straps and near the gore especially, and I only wore it a few months. Some people might also take issue with the fact that there is only 1 hook per column on the band.
This bra doen't fit in the band, but the cups fit. It was my favorite bra looking before I found out bands under 32 actually existed. Super flattering, very comfortable. It didn't do much for nipple coverage, though.
In the time I've had it I didn't wear it much (I preferred more nipple coverage for day to day wear) and the band stretched out a lot. It had some plastic strips (like on strapless bras) to help it stay in place, and those are now falling off.
This is a great shape for shallow boobs (open on top, 2 vertical seams), but it was clearly the wrong size (see photos). I had the shoulder straps as long as they would go, and they were still too short. The band is nice and snug, though - if I had this in a larger cup size, it may have worked for me. I gave it away to another bratabase user https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Incredibly, this bra gives me some semblance of that "cakes on a plate" type look that I covet but can rarely achieve with my small, shallow boobs. It does this by being really shallow in the construction and very closely spaced, pushing boobs in and up. It's a thin contour cup, no extra padding, but it makes my breasts look way nicer than the sad push-ups I used to wear. This bra looks great on - the lace design is really lovely and looks expensive, and the balconette shape is very flattering. It pushes my boobs up into a rounded shape and the open edge doesn't cut into ...breast tissue.
Since my ribcage is about 27" exhaled, I'd love it if if this style came in smaller band sizes, but truthfully, the 32 isn't so bad. It runs snug, closer to a 30. The straps don't fall off my shoulders like they do with most too-loose bras, and the cup is just the right size for me - there's no extra room, but no bulging either. Since my boobs are closely spaced, the high center gore doesn't lie quite flush to my sternum, but I can live with that. Read more 90 more words
