A couple of great things about this bra: It has wider shoulder straps that adjust all the way up and down and are set closer in the back, and it's cut with a substantially flared band. These features are fantastic if you happen to be petite or have a flared ribcage like I do. The plunge gore is low and closely set, and while I was worried that the polka dot netting was going to feel stiff and uncomfortable, it seemed okay while it was on. The Betty won't be the softest, most comfortable bra, but it's also super-cute. Love the polka dots and the rose embroidery! I ... especially like the subtle embroidery in the navy color.
Unfortunately, I think I really need a 34DD that doesn't exist. The wires are a good width (ie, very wide) and the cups are reasonably shallow, both of which are great... but the cups are also a bit big all over. I'm full on the bottom and pretty much fill out the base of the cups, but the tops have far too much room. The bottom of the band works on the tightest hook, but the flared top of the band gaps.
Bah, Elomi. I have been searching for this shape for what feels like a looooong time. Here it is, but not in my size. Sadness. (Anyone have any suggestions for similarly cut bras that do come in 34 band sizes? Please send them my way and I will be VERY grateful.)
