This Izzy is a pretty bra and fairly comfortable, which is saying a lot since I think it's probably at least one and maybe two cup sizes too small for me. My biggest issue is that the underwires are too short, and they cut/poke into my underarm breast tissue. (I'm approaching menopause and fat, and my breasts are pendulous, but my breast roots have always stretched into the underarm areas.) Also, there's no side-support boning in this bra, which I probably need. So rather than get this same bra in a bigger cup size, I'm going to look for a similar-cut model that includes better side-shaping.
Otherwise, I like this bra and it still fits better than any of my other bras (which are 42DDDs; I hesitated to jump up two cup sizes, but now I wish I had). I got it cheap enough on ebay, so I will keep it to wear until I have a few very well-fitting bras, and I may then just remove the underwires for a comfy and pretty around-the-house bra.

A DDD in American bras is the same as an E cup. UK sizing doesn't do DDD's, they call them E's. So you actually didn't go up any cup sizes.
