HAPPY DANCE!!! Thank you overthestars for the recommendation.
PROs - * It actually fits and is quite comfortable * My breasts are supported by the band and wires rather than being held up by the straps. * My two friends feel completely supported and stay put without either feeling constrained or bouncing around. * The cup shape and placement mimics my natural shape and looks great under a shirt. * It's not only functional. I think it's sexy. * The price was quite reasonable for such a well fitting foundation garment. ($58.00 via Amazon Prime)
CONs - * Limited selection in a 38G. I wish it were available in more color options. * (UPDATED) The little decorative loops at the base of the gore were scratchy. I carefully cut them off. Problem solved.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the look at fit of this bra. I may order a second one in black.

Decorative loops at the base of the gore were scratchy. I very carefully snipped them off. Problem solved.
Yay! I'm glad you like it, Etta's one of my favorite bras as well :D
I did find after a while that the cute little decorative loops at the bottom of the gore can get very scratchy, so I cut them off. And yes, definitely needs more color options!
Support and no bouncing: fantastic! You look like you are smiling in these photos: happy breasts :-) :-) Looks beautiful on you!
Okay, this is funny. I thought the little loops were scratchy too. I was sitting down with my delicate little fine pointed swan scissors to cut them off when I read your reply. I agree, they were itchy.
I love, love, looove showing off this bra. I intentionally wear shirts where you can see my bra because this bra is gorgeous and makes my girls look scrumptious. This bra is very supportive and comfortable and the butterfly straps over the cleavage are a sexy touch that doesn't interfere with the fit of the bra. I really like how this bra pushes my breast tissue forward.
This isn't an exceptionally pretty bra, especially in nude, but it's full coverage, unbanded and durable. It has a J-hook which is really convenient for when the bra starts to stretch (after 2 years) and you want more support or for when you need a butterfly back or v-neck neckline. On me, the gore doesn't tack completely when I'm using the J-hook but I don't notice it.
Very comfortable, I sometimes forget I'm wearing anything.
If you're a 38 G or higher, with full breasts, this is the bra for you.
Comfortable. The seams show through a t-shirt. Flattering shape from the side, but it has a weird shape when I look down. Cups allow my breasts to bulge unnaturally, not at the nipples, but about 3cm toward the sternum. I am tempted to keep it, but there's got to be something better. Straps are comfortable except at the strap's seam just above the cup. Where the end of the strap is sewn on the underside, the seam feels rough against my arm.
Comfortable. The lace design on the top of the cups shows through a white t-shirt. Flattering shape from the side, but it has a weird shape when I look down. Cups allow my breasts to bulge unnaturally, not at the nipples, but about 3cm toward the sternum. I am tempted to keep it, but there's got to be something better.
Bra fits and is comfortable in most places. But the edges of the wide strap irritate my skin where it is very tight across my tail of spence. I am tempted to keep this one.
Love the bra. Very pretty. Good support. Seams somewhat visible under certain tops but I'm ok with that https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
PROs - * A plunge bra that fits and is quite comfortable!!! * My breasts are supported by the band and wires rather than being held up by the straps. * My two friends feel completely supported and stay put without either feeling constrained. * No spillage when I bend over, a problem I've had with other plunge bras. My breasts remain right where they belong. * The cup shape and placement mimics my natural shape and looks great under a shirt (or without a shirt https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":-P" /> Ha ha!) * It's not only functional. I think it's very ...sexy. * The price was quite reasonable for such a well fitting foundation garment. ($44.35 including shipping via Amazon seller Her Room)
CONs - * Although cute, the two little bows on the straps where they meet the top of the cup are a bit of an overkill IMHO. Plus, they show above my the top of my fun summer shirts (crossover empire waist with spaghetti straps). I think I'm going to snip them off.

Boy finding the right size and the right bra is definitely a journey. I started out in Sept of this year to find my right size and the right bra. This site recommended 36GG to 38FF. Herroom recommended 38H. Before I knew what my size might be, I ordered a Soma 38G, which was fine in the band, but way too small in the cup. After I ordered a Wacoal in a 38G and it was a bit loose in band and too small in cup. I then ordered a 38H in Wacoal and it fit in band but cup was too small. I then ...found out that Soma and Wacoal are US sizes. I ordered a Panache in a 38FF and it was too big in the band and too small in the cup. I ordered a Elomi Amelia in a 38FF and it was loose in the band and too small in the cup. I just ordered this bra in a 38G and the band seems to fit good but the cup is too small. I was going to reorder the Elomi Amelia in a 36GG to see how it might fit and decided to try this bra in a 38G. I am coming to the conclusion that even in the same brand, if the style is different the bra will fit different. Totally confusing! Maybe I should stick with the styles I tried but go up a cup size in some and down a band size and up a cup size in others. Does anyone have any helpful feedback? I am beginning to believe I need a H cup though. Read more 180 more words
Supportive, smooth shape, comfortable. I would definitely get this if I needed a strapless bra. Somewhat difficult to put on due to gel-like texture on band.
Very supportive, doesn't feel like it's going to slip down. Difficult to put on because of gel-like substance on band. (I usually put a bra on backwards then spin it around my torso.) Band feels snug but in a good way. Nice rounded cup shape. Some spillage over band on my back.
Elomi 3911 in 38FF is very comfortable, but the top of the cup cut into one of my breasts, which is very slightly larger than the other. So, I thought this size 38G would fit perfectly. Alas, 38G is much too big, particularly at the wings where it cuts across my armpit awkwardly.
I wrote a more detailed review for this bra model in the 38H size if you're interested.
This bra is gorgeous and I wish it fit, but I think my breasts are too projected to really get a great fit in this kind of molded cup. It's possible I need to size down in the band and up in the cup to get a closer fit, but since my breasts are having trouble filling the cup top and bottom but is spilling out all around the cup, I think my breasts and this lovely bra are not meant to be.
The band is too small for me. I need something in between a 38 and a 40, so I stuck with the 40. The cups on this seem to be less full on the top on this, unlike the 40G, which I fill just fine.
This is my favorite bra. It fits me perfectly. I was originally measured at a boutique as a 38G in UK sizing, but only this Elomi bra and two of my Panache bras fit well in this size. Bratabase seems to recommend bras between 38G-38GG for me, depending on the brand. I'd recommend the Elomi Bijou if you prefer your band a little bigger and a shorter gore height. I think this also has wider cups.
My band size is between a 37.5 and 39, depending on how tightly I hold the tape (if that helps anyone). so if you are a 38-40, you'll probably like the fit of ...the 38 band. Because the band size on the Elomi Bijou is roomy, I would definitely look at measurements before purchasing this bra as you might need to go down in size.
It's really comfortable and works great as a T-shirt bra/everyday bra. So far, I haven't found another bra that fits me as well as this one does. I love it.
Updated Dec. 2016: I've since gained a size in the cup (I'm a 38GG-38H now) and tonight I tried on several of my existing bras and this is the one that still fits the best. The Bijou runs big in the band, so I am able to use it. Its almost a perfect fit, but there's a tiny bit of quad boob on the left side. But otherwise, the straps, the band, the gore and wing placements are fine. This is probably a good choice of bra if you are between a G and a GG or if you like a looser band. The band/underwire doesn't cut into my high tummy like Wacoal 38E Retro Chic. The underwires are wide enough for all of my breast tissue and extend out diagonally, so there's no underarm irritation. I'm most satisfied thus far by that point. The gore lies flat but is a little high in that it jabs my sternum a little. May be tolerable by manipulating the wires outward. The cups are full at the bottom and the top makes a nice flat line... But there's some puckering of the fabric above the horizontal seam. Makes me wonder if I should have ordered a cup size down. The straps are wide and comfortable. Time will tell if the apex of the cup makes them too wide set for me. I think I'm most comfortable in this bra than any other I've tried so far. Once I'm certain of my size, I will be purchasing another Elomi bra because I am so pleased with the underwires.
Yay! I'm glad you like it, Etta's one of my favorite bras as well :D
I did find after a while that the cute little decorative loops at the bottom of the gore can get very scratchy, so I cut them off. And yes, definitely needs more color options!
