This is a lovely bra, the patterning is trendy and kind of busy, but classy. the lace on top edge of the cups is backed with elastic so it lays perfectly smooth. And the bows look more like a butterfly then a normal bow. The straps are fully adjustable and the cups are the roundest softest shape I've ever personally seen in a un-padded bra.

I am in love with Elomi's (even though they are kinda wide) they are the most delightful fitting bra I've ever worn in my life. I have three now, in three different sizes... Yet they all fit to the point of being perfectly ... wearable. The wires are firm, but not uncomfortably so, I still feel like I have the same freedom as in my CK's with a more flexable wire. The elastic on these babies is something else. It's soft and very snug, but in a good way, in a I know I just bought a BMW kind of way, not in a oh crap it's over stretched kind of way. All three have been incredibly snug before I wash them for the first time, (hand washed warm water, I get rashes if I don't wash new clothing) after, they fit comfortably snug. The fabric is flexible but not overly stretchy, and so smooth, Egyptian cotton sheets smooth. the only vaguely negative thing I could say about Elomi's is they run wide for my roots.

This is a very comfortable bra. The wires are soft and wide, which provides less shaping than other cuts and brands, leaving a bit of a pointy wide-set shape. It has some stretch to the lace at the top of the cup, but for my very full-on-top breasts it does still cut in slightly, especially as the day wears on. It has good, but not significant, immediate projection (part of why it starts creating quad-boob, as the cups slide a little to accommodate my projection). Overall, this is a comfy, everyday bra great for all over fullness and moderate to wider roots.

I'll post more after I've worn this for a day or two.

I've been eyeing this bra recently. I ordered one online after the bra calculator estimated me as a 40GG, but I know it's going to be too big in the band now. I've gone bra shopping multiple times this week and finally came home with the 38H Matilda and a couple other bras. I ended up with the nude colorway. It's pretty in the nude, but I think the purple colorway is prettier.

The band runs big!! To give you an example, the other bras I got in 38I today are about 30 inches unstretched. This ... is 33. So this is more like a 40 band. Keep that in mind. It's a comfortable bra (most Elomi bras are great for all-day comfort in my experience). I will have to either wear this on a tighter hook or take in the band. For today, I'm trying it out on the 2nd hook with the knowledge that I'll have to shorten the band at some point.

It does give a rounded shape and I think I like this one better under clothes than I liked my Amelia Spacer bra, which minimized the boobs and pushed them to the sides. I think this one has more center projection than the Amelia did. It's prettier as well.

I don't fully fill the bottom of the cup due to the shape. My breasts are somewhat even. I thought they leaned a little toward Full-on-Bottom, but the salesgirl said they were Full-on-Top and that's why I had that tiny bit of wrinkling at the bottom of the cup. I tend to wear balconettes and half-cups for the most part.

Update: After wearing it for a couple weeks, I find that band is a bit loose for me and that the wires at the gore press on me. I can't lay down in the bra, which is a problem I used to have with some Cleo bras which had narrow, high wires. I do still like the bra, but I may have to take in the band at some point.

This is one of my first bra attempts in trying to find my best fit. Overall, it's my most comfortable bra I own at this point, but I can't say this is "it" yet. When I first got this, I realized that the 38 band was just way too tight, even on the loosest setting. I bought an Elomi Bjou Soree at the same time to try a plunge style. The Bjou was way more comfortable in the band even though they are supposedly the same size, so lesson learned there. I am able to wear this bra with an extender, giving me an extra inch till it ... stretches.

The gore was really tight against my sternum, till I added the extender, but even then, I'm very aware it's there when I stand up.

The cup is filled in from the bottom to about 2/3rd to the top. Then I have wrinkling fabric, but it's a heck of a lot better than my other purchases to date. I think I am FOT, because doing the lean over test, I've got a lot of volume above the midline. However, I am tall rooted with pendulous breasts, and very soft tissue. Overall, I have a rounded, slightly pointed look while wearing this, but at least I'm not going east/west. (Bjou, my gawd it's bad!)

The underwire was a big problem. The first day I wore it, which was without the extender, I had bruises where the wire stopped under my arms. The wire stops about an inch below where the cup fabric comes up to. Next time, I added the extender, which helped, except it still dug into my sides. I pulled out my older calcique bra for comparison, that never bothered me with that part of the underwire, and adjusted the underwire to a more U shape, and now the bra is mostly wearable for a day. I have to occasionally tweak the wires throughout the day. I hope this gets better. If I understand, Elomi has the longest wire lenths on the market in my size, so I can't imagine finding a bra that would have enough length to not squash migrated breast tissue, without having the actual cup be enormous on me. So, I've got as workable a fix as I can get right now.

Another odd thing is that I'm very aware of underarm sweat in this bra. The cup fabric is not breathable, as I end up shedding a bra that's sopping wet in that spot, at the of the day. I've never had that happen before in 26 years of wearing bras.

I know this seems all negative, but it's just my assessment of what's some issues of a doable bra, till I find "the one."

Can you do narrower widths? If so I can recommend Sculptresse by Panache which will have taller wires on the side. They are also narrower and more up front, and many shapes are better for FOT
than Elomi. Most Elomis are best for FOB.

    • Do you have any style recs from thier brand?

I guess I have an average projection. I thought up until now that I had a shallow projection, but I really reassessed, using the guides on /a bra that fits, just now. Maybe I have been looking for the wrong thing. I just have long tubular breasts that just lay on my stomach, so they tend to flatten out because they have a surface to spead out on. I have very triangle shaped body, so my breasts tend to look small in comparison when in a bra.

    • I'm thinking this bra might work: 40GG - Sculptresse » Pure Moulded T-shirt Bra (6291) looks ok for measurements compared to your Elomi. It's very soft and gives a rounded gathered profile. All the reviews on here for it seem to be positive.

I loved Sculptresse Kitty (8045) for projection and the open top which is nice for full on top breasts and has a very forward, round profile, a lot like the Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) but with much softer fabric. It is discontinued but is on Amazon and eBay. Styles like it are the Marcie and the also discontinued Sculptresse Charisse (8055).

Sculptresse Chi-chi Full Cup Bra (7695) Is less immediately projected and more rounded but a lot of folks like the shape and the band is phenomenal. Sculptresse Flirtini Balconnet Bra (7685) might be ok for tall roots but might cut in if you're very full on top. It's also a bit wider. Happy bra hunting!

Reminds me of the Elomi Cate. Cup feels too high in the front near the strap so it shows under some tops and just feels too close to my neck. I don't like how high the cup is under my arm when I raise my arms in front of me. The Cafe au Lait is on the darker side. I have some gapping in the upper cups and around the underwire, which is normal for my projected shape. I'm still finding my size in general but the band is definitely too big for me. It felt like there was good lift. I didn't like how the top lace part wasn't stretchy- I like the forgiving nature of stretch lace at the top of the cup. I don't think I would bother trying this one again once I do find my true size.

Not a great fit for me. Too much bra for my petite frame. Most painful of all was the extreme pressure the tips of the gore placed on my sternum, which actually was on some breast tissue when I looked closer. I was bruised and sore for days and simply cannot wear this bra. At first I thought it fit because the band felt snug and supportive, but I realized the cups were a little big with wrinkling that worsened through the day. Wires actually extended far enough to fully encapsulate my breast tissue, which was pretty awesome. I also didn't like how the top lace part ... doesn't have any real stretch to it so it's not very forgiving for variations in fullness between my left and right breast and monthly size fluctuations.

    Pros:
    *High quality
    *Pretty design
*The denim color has a nice deep tone without being too bright or too dark
*Pretty soft and silky materials-nothing felt scratchy
*Wires were actually wide enough to reach my entire breast tissue that stretches back under the back side of my armpit
    *No wire poking my armpit
    *Straps were fully adjustable
*Straps stayed in place (the strap itself has ridges to discourage sliding)
*It lifted my breasts front and center away from under my armpits

    Cons
    *Gore painfully tilted inward
*Not enough padding at gore wire tips
*The cups came up so high on my chest it felt like I was being strangled and like it would show under most necklines
*For me cups were filled at bottom but still not filled on top

    My shape:
Wide root, Tall root, Pendulous, Immediate projection, Center full, Close set, Even fullness

I'm not the biggest fan of the pattern, but it was comfy enough at first that I went ahead and bought it anyways. Unfortunately after wearing it for a few hours the underwires digging into my ribs had become unbearable, the cups are too shallow for me. The fabric and lace are both nice and soft, it'd be super comfy to wear if I were the right shape for it.

This is a very comfortable and versatile bra. It makes for a good round shape, although doesn't provide a ton of lift unless you hook the J-hook. The wires are nice and wide and there is a decent amount of projection at the wire but is a bit closed at the top. The mesh design makes this very cool in summer and a relatively smooth look under most clothes.

    Wardrobe order!

I like this one. Morgan feels to me like a midpoint between Etta and Caitlyn. The band is a bit more TTS than I'm used to Elomi bras being, but felt okay. Wires felt perfect, gore is a good height, sides are a good height.

Didn't fit though. The elastic at the top of the lace cut in, and the gore didn't fully tack. Also, the seam where the side support sling connects to the main cup was cutting in big time. I also could have used a bit more depth in the bottom.

But the bra itself is very pretty - I love the pattern on the lace, and I really like that it's a beige bra with an interesting pattern. I will probably retry it up a size.

The wire sometimes digs into my ribcage and rubs under my armpit. Sometimes it's OK if I push the underwires father back under my arms. Gaps a bit at the top of the cup because I've lost a little weight since I bought it. Fits flat on the sternum, which I like. Lots of support. Pretty

My first impressions on this bra was that there was a lot of it! It was too big for me and is being returned, however I included measurements incase it might help someone in the future. For me, the problems were:

Cups about 2 sizes too big. Denting in the moulding because I couldn't fill it.
Underwire goes really far to the side - middle of my armpit.
Band sits too high under my arm.
Center gore lays flat but presses upwards creating uncomfortable pressure.
Bra overall is too high up top - would interfere with clothing choices.
Material pretty stiff all over - very noticeable while wearing.
Separates a bit too much for me - I prefer my breast a bit closer together, and it also turned my breast outwards - again, this is probably because of the fit being wrong for me.

A lot of these "issues" are because it didn't fit me, however. If the sizing is proper for you, I think this would be a nice bra.

I tried on both of my Elomi bras as soon as I got them, and I am in love. This one, however, is my personal favorite.

It has the most amazing fit I have ever gotten from a bra. I said that for the other one, but that's because I was stuffing myself into Ds when I should've been wearing Hs the whole time!

The gore tacks, I fill everything out perfectly, the separation is perfection (no more rashes/chafing!) and oh, is it cute. I love the scalloped edge. The straps fit great, as does the band. I couldn't ask for a better fit.

This bra is adorable in the light pinky shade. There's just such a cutesy feel to it that I was never able to get with my old Walmart bras!

It does have that satin sheen to it, which some people hate, but I think is gorgeous, especially in this color scheme.

The upper half of the gore (the very tip) did not tack, which didn't seem to be a fit issue so much as the way it was made or used before it got to me. However, it isn't very noticeable, and it doesn't show in shirts, so it doesn't really matter.

Overall, the fit is perfect compared to my 44D days, and I would totally get more bras from this company if I had the cash. This one was very well made and super comfortable.

I've just bought this beam but so far it seems to be a great fit. I am breastfeeding, so I have pretty lopsided breasts right now, and even with that being the case, my smaller breast fits nicely in the cup with no gaping at the top. The bra stays in place when I lift my arms. I love the fact that it has hooks on the straps to hide under a tank top!

The undersides are a smidge too long, but I don't think that will be an issue overall. The band rolls up slightly under the cups, but the bra fit so nicely everywhere else I'm willing to deal with that.

I loved the shape of the cups under my shirts--very flattering look! But the wings were too tall for my short-waisted self, and because the band was a little loose the bra pushed down my ribcage. If I fit it into my IMF, the wires were very poky.

I love the look and feel of this bra...if only it fit. It's terribly unfortunate that they don't make this longline version in a larger band/cup than 40H. It's a beautiful peachy pink. It's definitely sheer enough to see nipples, so if that works or doesn't work for you, now you know. I like the longline style of this bra, but the wires are a bit high on the sides for me, however, I have high roots, so, I'm not a great barometer for average root havers.

There wasn't space to include a custom measurement, but from the top of the gore to the bottom of the longline lace is 15.5cm/6" & from the top of the wing to the bottom of the longline lace is 18cm/7.125". These are the measurements for the size 38H.

This is going to be a lot. I'm going to start with the swim top off of me and looking at mainly the bra aspects of the swim top, then go into what makes it more swim top-y, and then whatever else needs to be said while wearing it.
Two layer cup, one an outer typical swimsuit fabric layer and an inner very slightly stretchy but still sturdy mesh layer, the inside mesh layer is a 3 vertical part cup construction. Straps feel like what I remember feeling some sort of neoprene material, similar to what I think a wet suit feels like, and its really nice, feels super ... sturdy but also has a lot of stretch, no irritating extra frills. One plastic clasp at the back that was very easy for me to hook, the band is very stretchy, there is a side support section that appears to have three layers-swimsuit fabric on the inside and outside with something non stretchy in the middle, the other portion of the band is made up of two layers- outer swimsuit fabric and inner black mesh but much stretchier than the mesh in the cup. On the inside of the cup the wires are covered in the swimsuit fabric as the outer layer, i don't know whats inside but it feels like a typically padding level for a wire. Straps have the typical bra strap adjustment and are attached. The swimsuit fabric is sewn in a way that instead of attaching to the mesh at the "top" of the cup and potentially allowing for the mesh to show, the mesh cup is about an inch shorter than the cup itself and the swimsuit fabric in the pattern is used to make up that extra inch.

Now the GORE. It's like nothing I've ever seen but it works! The actual gore of the bra of the swimsuit lays flat is is very bra like, however this swimsuit model is designed to look more bandeau and the less bra. I has a gathering in the middle between the boobs, we'll get to that. When you are wearing this bra and look down at your chest the gore will be tacking (if it fits) but there is fabric that extends horizonally forward so that the swimsuit fabric can look flatter from the front. Looking down it looks similar to this OVO If each boob is an O the bottom of the V is where the gore tacks to my chest and the top of the V would have fabric going straight across, I think it doesn't go quite straight across but it keeps the swimsuit from looking to bra like. I don't know how to totally explain what is happening here but basically there's a little strong you can tug on to make the top lower and more scrunched in the middle or loosen to make it flatter. You'll have to look at the pictures because I can't think of a better way to explain it.

    While wearing:
I have never really noticed wire flexibility in a bra before, I've heard it discussed briefly but didn't have the bandwidth to understand but this bra has a wildly (and wonderfully?) flexible wire, flexes in all dimensions. I checked a few bras near me and they felt like sturdy wires so I grabbed the other swim top I got and it felt pretty flexible too, not quite as much but its in a padded cup so I assumed there's less allowance for flexibility. Another thing, I don't even know how or why or if its a pro or con but whenever I grab my boobs while I'm wearing this it feels like there's removable padding in it, truly don't know why but it's kind of nice. maybe its just sturdy and because its not a single layer cup like most others I try on the sturdiness of the underlayer combined with the stretchiness of the outer layer is giving this effect. I know this doesn't fit perfect on me, the wires sit a little low but god it is so comfortable! Typically with all of the bras I've tried on my arm and upper body movement is restricted, painful, uncomfortable, or moving makes something hurt really bad or stop fitting right, but with this I can flail my arms around with NO problems! Which is great since I'm actually going to use this for swimming like for exercise and not laying around tanning (I only burn) or just sitting in hot water talking to people or reading a book. I honestly can't believe this is so comfortable! Is it the wires? Or do I just need to buy another one and make it suitable for everyday wear? Until recently I have only worn Elomi bras but this most recent attempt at finding a bra that fits I learned more about my shape and learned elomi has very tall cups and I have short roots, I thought strap gap was going to be a given but I've actually found a couple bras that almost don't have strap gap and surprisingly this is one of them! There is a gap but it is small. On top of that I think all or at least most bras so far have caused a varying amount of pain in the part of the cup thats in the armpit, some extremely and some manageable but this doesn't hurt at all and I've been wearing it for at least 20 minutes and there is only a faint line where that part it, usually that's where the deepest and reddest and longest lasting marks are after I take a bra off!

I also wore this swimming right after I wrote most of this and it was great! It did start to hurt after a while in typical (for me) bra fashion but no major pain. It was easy to get off while wet. It worked great! Even though it doesn't technically "fit" I love it, definitely more comfortable than many bras I've tried on. Does hurt a bit after hours but not all that bad and it doesn't hurt or impede swimming at all.
