I was happy to find a deep plunge from my favourite company Elomi. Unfortunately I usually wear a 40GG with Elomi and the largest cup on a 40 band in this bra is 40G. Since some of my bras fitted a bit loose in the cup at the time, I was determined to see whether I could squeeze myself into this bra. (I was hoping for something similar to the Freya Deco, which some people with H/HH cups can get into.)
Sadly, it wasn't to be. First, the rim of the cup cut in horribly. While this prevented my soft boobs from falling out, it also made it obvious ... that the cup was too small. I also had issues with the push-up pad (yep, figure that, a push-up pad in a 40G bra) digging into the sides of my breasts. I have a very wide root, while the wires of the bra were similar in width to the Elomi Cleo Bandless in 40GG and ok for me, the push-up pad worked like a very narrow wire. It squeezed breast tissue between the pad and my ribs and was very painful for me. In addition the push-up pad took away the volume I would have needed to make this bra work for me.
Since the push-up pads were part of the moulded cup, I could not remove the push-up pad without damaging the bra.
