I got this bra from another Bratabase user, and have worn it twice. The bra is beautiful, but it just doesn't fit. I am still having a hard time pinning down my shape, but I am sure that I am pendulous and splayed, and this bra fails me on both of those counts. My boobs are set fairly close together at the top (they almost touch when supported) and REALLY wide at the bottom. The gore is wide enough at the bottom for my splayed gals, but the top is just too wide. It sits on breast tissue on both sides. The fit is ...soft enough that the wires don't leave bruising on my breasts like some, but the cups are far enough apart that it makes it feel like the wires are too wide, when they are actually pretty narrow. If I pinch the gore together, the wires move out of my armpits and the fit improves. If it was great in other ways, that would be an easy fix, but there are other issues.
I am relatively short and pretty high-set, so I love the fairly low cup height - it's hard to find bras that don't stick out of the top of my shirts. But since the entire cup is soft and stretchy, it doesn't offer very much support. My boobs settle in the bottom and outside of the cups, and the top is too loose, despite its stretch. I'm guessing that this would be a problem for most people who's boobs aren't pretty self-supporting, but since mine also long for the safety of my armpits, it was a major issue for me.
The wires seem to distort with very little stretch. They don't seem especially hard, but they don't give much. This is another downside for me, since I'm beginning to think that one breast is wider than the other. More forgiving wires help make both my boobs happier.
Ah, well. The world is full of sheer black bras. Hopefully there's still one out there for me.
The cobalt blue straps are so beautiful with the sheer black. 3D printing bras--it's coming :-) This bra could fit both of us if only the design was flexble and printed on demand. Someday :-)
3D printing would be fantastic! But would we have to be scanned underwater to get accurate measurements?
And, yes, the straps are incredibly gorgeous. Really, they are set too wide for me, but they looked so great sticking out of the sides of my top that I didn't mind at all.
I had to lol at "be scanned underwater".
And that is a seriously beautiful bra! I'm sorry it didn't fit. I'm shaped like you, touching at the top and splayed at the base, only mine do go to my armpits. Getting a good fit is challenging.
Pit boobs. Mine are almost there. If they get any more pendulous (which they certainly will), that's where they'll live, for sure. It is a major fit issue.
Too bad about the fit! About the wires at the gore being closer together at the top but wider at the bottom, have you tried Curvy Kate? It looks like it has this wire shape, as well as Elomi. But Elomi also has wider gores overall, and softer wires (veery easily distorted).
I have had some success with Curvy Kate. Bardot is one of my best fitting bras, and Princess and Ellace are pretty good, too. Elomi was a bit of a disaster for me. If they fit in the wires and at the bottom of the cup, there was too much projection right in the center. They all made me look like my boobs were shriveling up at the tips.
It was one of my favourite bras before I learnt my true size. Unfortunately, I bought it a week before.. so it has spent most of its days in a drawer.
I absolutely love the contrast between the blue spotted part and the blue stripey one, the white lace at the top of the cups and the litlle bow detail.
The cups run a bit small I think, and the band is way too big for me. The cups are like a half-cup bra.
The outer fabric has a smooth silky texture whilst the inside is a soft cotton.
I look at it really often and regret that it's not my size, but the fit is definitely not that, at all!
Without adjustment it fits poorly but after tightening the band (adjustable, woohoo!!) it fit better. the cups are now a bit small, especially when scooping and swooping but it used to fit pretty well (I've gained a few pounds).
My fav thing about this bra? the number of adjustable things! you can make the straps racerback or just go strapless, you can make the back strap/band clear or criss cross.

Altered band,
Drastically tightened band (adjustable strap)
I followed their online size calculator - Big mistake. It's about 2 sizes too big in the band, 1 size too big in the cup. Which means I probably needed just about my normal size. I should have known better. Sigh. I would gladly keep trying, as this bra really fits my aesthetic, but at $9 return shipping + an hour drive to drop it off at the shipper (they advertised "easy" returns, haha), I think this brand is effectively out of my reach.
Etam is a French brand and I used to wear Etam bras when I was a 80A/B (30A/B UK). I was surprised to find on Etam website that they widen their size range and now carry some 80C/D/E in some models, sadly only available online. I mostly wear 30DD/28E in UK sizing so I ordered this bra in 80E (30DD UK). It was a completed failure. The fit was way off: the band was too big and because it closes from the front I couldn't adjust it. The cups was too big, too far appart and flattened my breasts. Maybe I could have ordered the 80D but I was not impressed by the design so I gave up and returned it .

It is in my drawers for years as it was way too small, but I remember how comfortable it was. The fabric is nice and silky soft, and the bra is almost invisible under clothes. Also, the straps are removable.
Etam is not doing anything close to my size though..
Satine Push Up Bra This bra fits me very well. It's quite comfortable, however I prefer those without push-up. The cup width is 13cm with the depth 16cm, this combination of parameters is quite difficult to find. The bra looks elegant and stylish!
This bra is very pretty, I really like the sheer lace, with some shiny blue shiny on the lace on the upper edge of the cup, and the blue satin straps. One thing that might be an issue for some is the fact that the straps don't adjust that long, as most of the strap is this stretchy blue satin. If I measure the adjustable part of the strap, it's 8cm when tightened (making the overall strap 28cm), and 15cm when loose (overall 35cm).
Comfortable while wearing, the seams and decoration show through clothing. There is gaping at the top of the cups because it can't mold to the shape of my breasts.
