TL; DR — this is a comfortable, wireless bra that gives decent lift and nice shaping. I like it a lot!
    ———————————
I was very skeptical about this Evelyn & Bobbie bra. I saw it while I was browsing for bralettes, and I left it in my Breakout Bras cart for, like, a month. It’s a little spendy, and it looked similar to the Knix** wireless bras, which were not a good fit for me when I’d tried them awhile back.

Anyway... according to E&B’s size chart, this Beyond Bra would fit me (34FF-ish UK/ 34H-ish US) in a size Large so I finally decided to try ... it. I was surprised to put it on and discover that it lifted my breasts. I had been prepared for the possibility that my breasts would pull the bra down/forward, but they were lifted. It doesn’t separate as well as an underwire bra, of course, but I still had two separate boobs, and they were supported.

There are lots of hooks in the back for security and adjustability. The straps are wider in the front where they meet the cup, and they’re a little more narrow in the back with room in the length for adjustments. The cup height and wing height are high enough that everything is contained and looks smooth. The only downside to the height of this bra is that the wide band directly under the bust sometimes rolls up when I sit/bend because I have some squish. It doesn’t really adversely affect the fit or comfort so it’s not annoying enough that I’d want to return the bra, but it’s worth noting. So far the band seems to be holding everything in place. Hopefully it won’t stretch out too quickly, but so far, so good!

The fabric is very soft and smooth, but also supportive. (It’s similar to the Knix fabric feel, if you’ve tried their everyday bras, but more uplifting.) I haven’t tried to remove the removable pads, but I didn’t feel a need to remove them because the bra gives me a natural and comfortable shape with the pads in place. I don’t think the pads affect anything in terms of the lift (they sit in front of the breast), but they provide nice shaping and nipple coverage. All the lift is coming from the bra fabric itself. If you examine the fabric closely, you can see that some parts of it are knit more tightly, creating support on the sides of the cups (the sling) and where the straps meet the back.

I definitely recommend trying this bra if your size falls within their size chart, and you’re looking for a comfortable, wireless option! It fits true to size for me.

**Side note: it’s really irritating that Knix claims to have “the best bras for larger breasts” when their size range stops at an F/G cup in US sizing. I tried to make an H work... but nope. Yet another company that seems to think 38DDD is a “large breast size” but 34H and beyond doesn’t even exist.

    • Looks very similar to the Cake Lingerie Sugar Candy Seamless Everyday Bra (28-8005-07)

If you're interested in getting more wireless 'lounge'-type bras I'd recommend you give it a try :).

    • Thanks, bustyand, I’ll keep that one in mind for next time!

    • I’d been wondering about them! I always like a good wireless lounge bra. I tried True & Co and Knix and even in a smaller size (34E UK) was pretty underwhelmed. This might be worth trying and I do love shopping at Breakout Bras!

confused, I think you’d like this one.

    • Thanks for the review! I’ve been wanting to try their bras for a while now. This looks great on you!

    Hasn't set fit

I'm a 28FF/30F, center-full, FoB, projected petite gal that has been struggle bussing with any and all wired bras for over a year. What used to fit no longer does, I still measure the same, but underwire makes me want to stab things. Gore and spence pain have always been a struggle. Unless it's a half-cup, the wings come up too high. But half cups aren't usually projected enough.

Anyway, I've been getting by with an Athleta bra model that basically just squishes the girls down, and so I've spent the past year trying and failing to find an underwire that doesn't give me murder vibes. Then a blessed ... bra fitter at one of the local shops whipped out an Evelyn & Bobbie Beyond bra (size small) and told me to just trust her. I'd passed on ordering these online, because my experience with these matrix-style bras has never been good. I also fall just off the edge of the matrix chart. But I humored the fitter.

And, omg, I still don't believe it. My boobs haven't been lifted AND projected for over a year - but they were also super happy! It's a little startling to see them in their fully glory - they're not missiles ready to launch, but they're definitely showing true to size now - and they look great under tops. Lifted, separated rather than one boob hammock, and nothing hurts.

The band on the small is technically too big. The fitter put me on the middle hooks (6 rows), which would still be loose on my 28 self, but the band hasn't ridden up, even when I went clothes shopping and tried on several tops (lots of bending, twists, arms over head, etc.). I don't feel like the straps are the main support structure, either. The fitter said to throw this bra in the dryer when it stretches out and it should shrink up perfectly for me (she's converted her own closet to E&B and does this). Kind of blows my mind.

If you like strappy tops, this bra probably won't work, so I still need to figure out something for summer. But handles deep v-necks for the most part. I am concerned it'll be hot in the summer, but so are my Athleta compromise bras. It would be nice to see E&B do fun bralette-style straps for wearing under summer tops and look less like you're wearing a granny bra. I saw some old review videos with a strapless and multiway bra by E&B, but I don't see anything like that on their site.

Overall, I'm impressed and hope the magic has some longevity!

    Didn't fit

Oh. My. God. I'm on this binge of trying these new brands that are promoting their inclusiveness or new sizing methods, so of course this came up. They have this weird sizing method that makes no sense and you can't tell how to go up a cup or band or whatever. They just throw you stuff based on your band and individual boob measurements. They gave me three size. This one (44.08.028) was what they recommended most along with two other possible sizes (08.080.38, 44.10.038). This size was the smallest all around of the 3. It LITERALLY squashed me. Boobs coming out the top, out the sides, out ... the front. It is absolutely horrendous. The only reason this thing could stay on as a strapless is because it was so damn tight. And the whole "no underwire" thing? Yeah, they just put a big, thick piece of stiff foam or something in place of the underwire. Sure it's less stabby, but it takes up so much space and made the whole bra bulky and awkward. I absolutely do not recommend every trying this thing except maybe for kicks.

I have 3 of these bras. They are S-M-L sized, which I was wary about, but I've ended up really liking because my size seems to fluctuate. I find these bras to give a good shape and be supportive.
The only downside is I find they come up rather high so they aren't good for tank tops or lower v-neck shirts.

It's a VERY plain black bra. The sales associate suggested I could use this one as a low-impact sports bra (even though it's technically not designed for that) and it's easy to see why. The thick straps and high sides mean there isn't going to be a whole lot of movement happening. The fabric feels okay, but it's a bit TOO secure for me to be comfortable wearing it as an everyday bra. Supposedly it molds to your shape, but I haven't worn it enough to find out yet and I'm dubious this claim works, especially if you have a small band size+large cup size or vice versa. I'm not a fan of the number of hooks on this bra either, as trying to line up four at a time so random hooks don't unhook themselves is a bit of a feat. I have a bit of stomach fat and this causes the band to flip in on itself too, so I'm constantly readjusting that whenever I slouch/lean over/etc.
