This bra is soft and beautiful. I could not wait to try it on. In pics it appears kind of East West and pointy. I'll do a more detailed assessment later
I am wide rooted, evenly full, somewhat shallow, with tall roots. The top is open enough for me and does not cut in.
Updated review: it's just a tad big and the cup and band for me. Maybe the band just stretched quickly? I would say it's good for average projection and average top-bottom heaviness.
The cups are not too big, but as with most soft cups, the top is not cut right for my teardrop shape. The cups are a little narrow and deep compared to the molded styles of this brand (which are like a dream for me!). Perhaps if I could get my "true size" of 28E, then the problem would be solved, but alas, they dont make 28s. The bra fit well enough for me to keep. It is very pretty too.
A bit tight in the band, as well as the cups. But not as much "quad boob" happening as with my @panache emily The color and detailing of the bra is beautiful and I wish it actually fit!
This evollove bra has a lovely soft fabric and a gorgeous blue color. In a 30DD the cups are true to the size and also the band is quite firm. The Ece Queen is available from D-G cup - but be careful! As evollove does not produce a FF cup, the G cup runs 1 cup smaller. Also the cups are more on the flat site with quite wide wires which are really comfortable though. The bra gives a lifted and a bit rounded shape but it does not bring the bust to the middle (on me). There are some really nice and cute details, for example the bow ...between the cups or the lace on the front half of the straps and on the bottom of the band underneath the gore.
Overall I really like this bra, as it is really comfortable and has a really lovely design. Also the Brazilian Brief (I ordered a size XS with an unstreched width of 32cm which streches up to 40 cm. The brief in a size L has an unstreched width of 38 cm and streches up to 55cm) is really nice and has a sheer fabric. Read more 86 more words
I can't remember where I first saw this bra, maybe on Asos, or perhaps Figleaves where I bought it from, but as soon as I did I thought it was the most "me" design I'd ever seen in lingerie! The stunning purple and "dark fantasy" starry pattern is gorgeous, and in person it doesn't disappoint. The slightly silky material and dark purple lace on the top of each cup stops it from looking too "young" and teenager-y I think, making it just right for someone who wants to add some pattern to their bra-drobe (bra + wardrobe, see what I did there?!). I love jewel tones and quirky ...patterns and my everyday clothes show this - but oddly my bras are all of the fairly plain and functional variety. I think since being on my fairly new quest for correctly fitting bras, the fit is obviously the most important thing, so I've been trying really hard to ignore gorgeous prints and designs for fear of getting swept away and ending up spending loads of money on items that look beautiful but ultimately don't fit any better than my bras of yonderyear. So it was with slight trepidation that I ordered this, telling myself I would return it if the fit wasn't perfect and I *wouldn't let myself get drunk on it's gorgeousness, rendering me unable to make a rational fit-based decision*.
Having had no experience of trying @Evollove bras before I was uncertain of how they fit but ordered my fairly usual 30DD. Luckily, it was definitely the right size for me. I have fairly wide root, shallow, full on the bottom boobs and on first try on I thought it fit me fairly well, but not perfectly. The band is medium to slightly looser, and given that it's longline I wanted it to be snug to stop the bottom of the band rolling up. I wore it out for the first time today and started on the middle hooks, which is about right for me to be comfortably snug. The wires are quite wide, which meant I breathed a sigh of relief as soon as I tried it on, probably similar to Freya half cups. I am ruled out of quite a few brands like @Cleo despite loving some of their bras because they are just designed for much fuller, more projected narrower root boobs.
The cups aren't too deep, which was another relief for me, as this is another typical issue I have with some bras, although the bra does give a slightly pointy look, which I thought I wouldn't like. I originally thought I would wear this under big jumpers now it's so cold, but wore it today with a fairly close-fitting top and it actually gave quite a smooth outline despite it not being a seamfree cup. I realised I quite liked the slightly pointy-ish look too - I realised that actually the band fits very well so the overall feel and look is quite supported so not having a super-round or cleavagey profile doesn't really matter.
The straps are the thinnest of all the bras I own - definitely more akin to the horrendously fitting 34Cs I used to cover my boobs with (I say "cover" as this is all they did, I remember clearly the realisation I had about 6 months ago that they weren't doing anything but hiding my nips and irritating the beejesus out of me with the amount of times I had to readjust everything!) than the Freya bras I tend to wear now. They're also fully adjustable which made me woop for joy!
The longline design is awesome, and the four hooks make it a good length. When sitting down (as I am now!) the bottom of the band at the front does roll up a little, but it seems to stay in place at the sides and back, so doesn't cause any issues.
The matching shorty knickers are quite small fitting - I ordered my usual medium (which in other brands is always very comfy-fitting - ie quite loose) and found them to be snug - put it this way, they're fine as they are but I wouldn't want them ANY smaller! So maybe size up in these. I would recommend this bra for those with medium to wide roots and fairly shallow to medium projection.
I'm really delighted with this set. As the real truth of the fit is in the wearing, I'm really happy that it didn't cause any discomfort at all today. My initial impression that it wasn't perfect has been proven wrong - it's actually a really excellently fitting bra for me, just slightly different from the moulded bras I'm used to. The only problem now is I'm lusting after one or two of the other @Evollove designs! Read more 696 more words
Love this bra. It is comfortable and very flattering. It gives me a great shape...better than any pushup. It suits my breast shape very well...not overly round or narrow on top like some bras. I have to wear a 30 on the smallest hook, so I only wish this brand made 28s and maybe that the straps were thinner. The print is really elegant and construction is good.
Not crazy about the 3 part seamed cup construction and the gore digs in a little bit at the top but over all it's not too bad and looks ok under my clothes. I think bending the gore wires out a little might help.
Seamed contour bra. Light padding but more like a contour lining not true "padding". Fits well, more like a half cup style. Comfortable but not the greatest under a t shirt as the seams can show through.
The bra is very cute and while the band is a bit tight on me, it would work if it weren't for the cups, which are meant for someone with more projection, or maybe someone who's fuller on the bottom. The tops of them cut into my breasts a bit but the rest of the bra is full of empty space.
It's super comfy to wear and the fabric feels nice. It's unpadded but not see-through. The band felt a little loose for a 30 - it felt best/most stable on the tightest hook. The wires are wide so this might work for wide root shallow boobs. The shape I got from the cups was slightly pointy but not too bad.
This is the Evollove I've tried and the quality of it seems quite nice and the material is very soft and it is a comfortable bra. It fits me quite well the cups do run large and this fits more like a 30E. However there is either a shape or apex mismatch and I get a somewhat pointy look from this bra. If it wasn't for the shape I would love this bra, but I don't care much for the shape so I will be listing it.
