I have been trying to get my hands on that bra for at least 2 years, so I am really disapointed to have to admit that the cut is just not for me.
I'm in Canada and tried to order it from several different sellers, and no one (even Ewa Bien) wanted to ship it to me. A friend in Germany had to help me so I finally could have it, and even from there it was difficult to buy it. I'm really disapointed as well about the client service that brand gives (or doesn't give, as a fact...)
I'm a beginner at trying to understand bra shapes ...and all the wording associated to it, but from what I understand and also read on the really few reviews I have been able to find about the brand, Ewa Bien seems to make bras more convenient for wide roots.
The B111 runs really to high under my armpits and the straps are also really too far on my shoulders.
But the bra is absolutely gorgeous!
It's a Polish 65i - I would say it fits like a uk 30ff Read more 81 more words
I love Ewa Bien's designs, but it's almost impossible to get them in the States too. I think I was quoted 200 zl (~51) for shipping and I was so not going to pay that.
gratiat o.o oh sweet tap dancing baby Jesus. $51??
Yup! I noped out of that and haven't been able to find them since without either an insane mark up (like, 100+usd) or insane shipping or in my size in a style I could stand. So that's that I guess. I keep lurking Reddit or here for one in my size.
So beautiful!!! But, so disappointing! Ugh.
disappointing, it looks like stained glass! lovely styling.
Band definitely feels snug for an 80 - still a little big for me, but workable on the tightest set of hooks. Cups are true to size or a tiny bit small. It fits me like a 3/4 cup bra, but open enough on top to avoid quad-boob.
Very comfortable and well-made. The straps could be a little longer and a little closer together and I'd be happier. They're convertible and removable, but if they were any shorter they would be too short. This is a running theme with my Polish bras, but not most of my other bras. I'm average height and short-waisted -- I'm getting the feeling my breasts must be low on my chest.
The fine sheer mesh under the black mesh is an extremely unusual and beautiful look. The pattern shows slightly under clingy/sheer tops, but the cup edge doesn't, which is the thing that would bother me.
PROS Gorgous! The bra is a two part half cup unlike the stock picture that shows it as a three part cup thats more full coverage. Nice open cut on top. Doesn't cut into armpit or sternum. The band is stretchy while still providing support. Idk how the band can be stretchy, but still provide support and not ride up my back but it doesn't (i usually like my bands super tight but this one works for me!) Cups also have lots of projection in the bottom of the cups. There is a side sling in the bra to keep breasts nice and forward. Straps are removable; theres ...hooks on each end of the strap. I haven't had them come undone like other bras with the same type of hook. Embroidery is in almost perfect condition, nice and tight. Elastic is nice and tight. No stains or discolorations. Looks like previous owner stitched over elastic on one side(don't know reasoning but it is done well and doesn't impact how much the band can stretch). Its only visible if you look closely.
Good fit for: FOT FOB even breasts. narrow breasts, or wide breasts if you like a tighter band as the wires start to distort at 32 inches, breasts that are close set will work well in this bra but so will breasts that are wide set.
Reasoning: The half cup cut is very forgiving with the mesh so in my opinion I think the cut would work well for all shapes. The cut and material of this bra just seems very forgiving and adaptable all around! Idk how it is the way it is but it is lol.

It's a beautiful unpadded halfcup bra with abstract geometric embroidery on the cups and a powermesh band. The cups have one vertical seam and side support. They are open on top. The wires are wide, relatively sturdy and quite long (as expected in a halfcup bra). It works for wide root shallow boobs. The straps are fully adjustable. The band on the yellow/black color runs pretty stretchy for a 60.
I'm a UK 30E usually, and the 60 band fit. However, the cups were too big.
My first Ewa Bien bra was 34D,and after it started rding up my back and the cup edge digged into my boobs I decided to go a size up in cup and size down in band. It gives a comfy feeling, but gives no *wow* effect.
The bratabase marked this bra as not fitting for me. But it is one of my better fitting bras. I only have problems with the cup separation being a bit too wide (I have no space between my breasts), and the straps being a little too wide set. Otherwise it fits my breasts well and stays in place throughout the day.
The fabric is thin mesh and a little scratchy. I think it looks quite cool. It has a weird tassel thing at the top of the gore for decoration that I might cut off.
This is a semi-moulded, full cup bra with black mesh fabric on the top 1/3 of the cup. It has many bows on the center gore and straps that I would remove if I were to keep it. The fabric of the moulded cup seems not the highest quality, it's kind of rough to the touch, a bit cardboard-y. The band is comfortable enough for me and I like the sturdiness of the band under my arms, while the wire is quite U-shaped so the cups actually encapsulate my breasts the way I want them to. Sadly, I think the cup is too high for me as I don't fill the mesh part of the cup at all. Probably it would work for someone more full on top. Also the gore not only wants to float, it also "switches" from side to side, I don't know how to better explain that. I'm guessing it's because my breasts are quite as projected enough for this model.
This is a soft bra in a deep red colour, with mesh fabric in the cups and a very stretchy, soft kind of velours fabric for the band. It has some lacy details on the side of the cup and the straps. The soft fabric of the band seemed so promising in terms of comfort but I think it just doesn't offer enough support. The cups are wrinkling both at the bottom and the top, yet the gore is floating. I don't know how to make sense of that yet. Due to the mesh fabric of the cups, the wrinkling looks extra bad as well. I don't know which shape would be good for this bra, but it's not mine...
This bra may not have a perfect fit but I am happy with it.
It is beautiful and works as a neutral for my skin tone under light tops. The cups fit well, though on the top part they gape a little, but nothing serious. The low gore allows me to wear lower-cut shirts, though after 6 hours in the heat it started hurting a little as the inner wires were on boob tissue. On the positive side, it is pretty, gives a beautiful projected but round shape under my clothes, the cups have a wonderfully soft cotton lining and on the bottom they do not gape and give me a natural softly round cleavage. They are just a little tall for me, but I like the fit and the comfort.
This bra has a lot of space in the bottom, so it's great for full-on-bottom boobs. Its cut makes me think that even if I got it in a more proper size (65K or 65L), it would not be a full-coverage bra. The band is so perfect. I keep sister sizing lately, so it's a relief to have a bra that is a proper 65/30, and fits me perfectly on the loosest setting. My boobs are quite narrow, and the wires on this bra suit them very well. The wires are rather flexible, but with a properly fitting band I don't see this being an issue, even for ...65L-ish me.
The shape this bra gives is very rounded, like Cleo on steroids. The overall effect reminds me of the one I get in my 70H - Ewa Michalak » Sm Czarna Mgiełka (481): very cantilever-esque, and so well-suited to my body that I'm seeing parts of my torso I've never seen before. However, even though this bra is projected enough to stay in the IMF of a projected person like myself, the bra doesn't *visually* project my boobs to the point that an Ewa Michalak SM does. I think this bra would make a great compromise for someone who needs that Ewa Michalak projection, but doesn't want to stick out in front so much. I wish this bra fit. It is so pretty -- the embroidery is immaculate and colorful! I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but it's so cool. However, the needlework also makes it visible under thin shirts. The visibility is due to the color alone though, because the embroidery is magically not-lumpy.
And the QUALITY. As much as I bemoan the price of Ewa Bien (and their inaccessibility in the US), I feel like it's worth it. The workmanship here is impeccable. I feel that this bra will last forever if it's part of a collection with 2+ bras and is only handwashed. Read more 218 more words
This is quite a nice-looking neutral-colored bra! It feels a little flimsy, especially with the thin straps. The cup size fits pretty well and the lace doesn't dig into the top of my boobs, but the gore feels like it's way too wide (even though it's not very wide). The band is quite stretchy - I was able to put it on the 2nd set of hooks the first time it put it on. Overall, I'd say it's a good bra for the price but not quite as sturdily made as the other bras I have.
Lovely aesthetics but cups are just a size too small-gore hangs away from chest and have some well-defined quad-boobery happening.
I have recently lost 20lbs and have another 20ish to go, so will hang on to it and see.
Cups may be too shallow even at the next size up, idk. Disappointed that the gore doesn't tack well-may need a different style altogether, but will reme aside and refit in a month or so and see what happened. Uncertain about wires also, they may be too short on the side. My small side fits reasonably well but my bigger side overfloweth. We will see. Right at mid-cycle as well so I may be fluffier than at other times-haven't noticed much historically but these things change!
Love the wider wires, however, it doesn't seem to have enough depth for me. This semi-soft works much better than Kris Line semi-soft bras. I get a ice rounded shape instead of a pointy one.
Got this bra a while ago and haven't really ever worn it since I have so many other similar bras. Deciding to sell it on as I never seem to reach for it. From what I remember, the fit is pretty comfortable.
