I picked this up wanting to try the 3D style. I seem to fit well in a 65F at Ewa (in the S/SM anyway) but an E may be more suitable for me. The woman that owned this previously (she sold it to me NWT) said the cups ran very big and were probably closer to an E, so I got it.
She was right, this is an E. I don't know if it was sewn incorrectly, mislabeled, or if this bra just runs large but it's a really great fit.
The band is nice and tight. It's comfortable. Since it's a new bra, I use an extender, but ... I do not have to. The straps are comfortable and not overly stretchy.
The wires are probably a tad on the wider side. They sit in my fold along the bottom, but there is a bit of space between my tissue and the wire on the side. Not a lot, not enough to be uncomfortable. Frankly I probably wouldn't even have noticed it if it weren't for the other Ewa models I have.
Without the inserts, it is perfect. I fill the cups perfectly, the gore tacks beautifully, and it gives a nice lifted and rounded shape. With the inserts, holy mother of cleavage, and these are just asymmetry correcting inserts, not even push up pads, but wow, breast pillows all day! With them, I do get a bit of quadding but nothing noticeable under clothing except perhaps the tightest of tops.
I do stay contained all day, no spillage through the center but I must say that I do prefer the higher gore of the S/SM models. I have soft tissue and wide set breasts and I just feel more comfortable with the higher ones. Perhaps I'd get used to the shorter gore with time and more wears. I just haven't worn a low gore since my days trapped in the matrix as a Victoria's Secret regular.
I guess I'll find out, because I'm keeping this bra. It's nice that it does double duty for me as a nude basic and an enhancer.
I do want to note that I have an Ewa S model in a 65F. I need the inserts in that otherwise I get a small bit of gaping. This 65DD without the inserts fits the same as the 65F with them. This is part of what makes me believe this bra is absolutely an E and not a DD.
Looks wise it's pretty. It's not anything spectacular, but the beige is a nice tone that seems based on gold rather than yellow or pink. I like the little copper beads on the gore, and the lace overlay is really nice.
