  1. I’m definitely one to have a good solid black workhorse bra in my collection. I originally picked this bra up second hand in a 70G, and loved it, but needed a better fit. I can tell this is a second generation. The lace on the cups isn’t as thick as my 70G, but I’m not mad at it. I actually like it. I also feel this falls in line with the fit more like BM Kleks and Malachit.

The outer lace is definitely more open stitched and airy. The lower cup consists of a non stretch black mesh inside. The upper cup of course is black stretch lace ... over black stretch mesh. The center gore has a single layer of black mesh with a lovely satin V ribbon detail. The lace continues along the bottom rocker and halfway onto the side of the back-band. There is a cute little black bow with a diamond charm. Thew elastic straps are a little more on the firm stretch side, with cute little black bows where the straps meet the cup. All hardware is black. The back portion of the back-band is a single layer of black satin stretch fabric. There is a 2x4 clasp.

This is so cute! I definitely wouldn't call it a workhorse bea based on how pretty it is!

    Didn't fit

Update: For this bra I wear it on the tightest set of hooks and get a good fit. I feel this bra runs slightly small in the band for a 70 band. After trying a few BM’s in a size 65GG and having some issues with the proportions, I don’t feel a 65GG would be a good sister size. I’d prefer a 65G if I were to repurchase another.

I’ve been on the hunt for a black lace bra since my Sm Wróżka died a while back. This bra is lovely! I purchased second hand in EUC. The backband runs small compared to the other two BM’s in ... 70G I have. But I’m not complaining since I purchased all these BM’s as a sister size to my 65GG I’m at now. So this is definitely in my favor. I think this goes without saying, bras in the color black just seem to always run smaller/tighter. The cups are lined with a black mesh, with the lower cup being non-stretch while the upper cup has a stretch mesh lining behind the stretch lace. This one came with a slight wire overlap at the gore. The center gore has a diamond pattern with fine mesh on the center. It has a black bow with a gem hanging from it. There are two small black bows where the straps meet the cup. The band has 3X4 hooks. Overall this is a lovely black bra, very comfortable and a wonderful replacement for my lost love Sm Wróżka.

This bra is pretty old for bra standards, I definitely got it around last year and stopped wearing it because the wires were a bit irritating at the time. Anyways, after my mostly failed foray into UK brands, I decided to take this bra out and try again.

I don't know if my roots magically got narrower somehow or I just learned how to s&s properly but this thing fits really damn well? The most elusive of my fit woes (splayed roots aside) is immediate projection, and this bra has just enough to keep the wires from sliding down. The fit on this bra is so good that my ... only real issues with it are purely cosmetic.

Firstly, the lace used pills really badly. Buy a depiller to save yourself from pill hell.

Secondly, the shape is a little more pointy than I prefer, but I'm the kind of person who likes Gorsenia's globe shape so do with that what you will. It also covers wayyy more of the top half of my breast than my 75GG (besides that, they fit pretty much the same.)

This was my first Ewa Michalak bra and I instantly fell in love with it. Other bras I have owned have always gone much further back into my armpit area. This bra aligns almost perfectly where my breast is, including on the sides as well as under my IMF. This is my go to. It’s comfortable, high quality, and makes me feel confident underneath my clothes.

The gore lies flat against my sternum. The cups are filled completely, top to bottom, with no empty space on the bottom and no quadding at the top.

The straps are perfect and do not dig in. They’re fully adjustable and sit comfortably without slipping off my shoulders.

This is the first of many I will end up owning. I am undergoing weight loss since I am done breastfeeding my youngest, so not sure how long it will fit this perfectly.

Purchased this for my mom (her first Polish bra!) so I can't speak to the fit. The construction and materials are the usual, excellent Ewa Michalak quality and precision. The lace is beautiful and I now want one for myself!

    Didn't fit

This is the size Ewas calculator suggests for me. I knew it would be too small but I wanted to try it anyway.

The band is too big for me, it rides up, and the cup is as expected too small, I'd for sure want a cup size up. So I'd end up with a 75K.

This bra is quite comfortable, the fabric is very soft. It has a narrow gore that doesn't come up too high and stabs me. Sadly it doesn't quite tack for me since it's a little too small. If I push the gore flush I get slight overspill in the cups.

The shape of this ... gives an intense lifted torpedo shape, so if you are not into that, avoid this. But I think that is common for a lot of BM in this size?
For me, the shape works quite well because I have torpedo boobs lol. But I wish it had a little more immediate projection, but perhaps simply having it in one cup higher would fit me much better overall. I do get a bit of a wrinke in the bottom of the cup, not too much though.

I also think the wires are just slightly too narrow for me, I'd want like, 1 cm more width or so.

The straps could be longer, I have them adjusted to the longest length and I kinda want another inch more or so, they dig into my shoulders.

    • Like your SF this bra is probably too big for you/too projected for you. If Ewa is too narrow for you that’s actually great because ordering from Poland can be a pain.

I would look for slightly wider bras a cup or two sizes down and see if you get more lift and support. Bras that hold your breasts closer to your chest can feel way more supportive because they don’t allow as much bounce- took me years of wearing a 40JJ or K to realize this and start trying 42HH or H which is much more supportive, fits my frame better, etc.

    • cupandahalf I don't understand how this bra would be too big? If I push the gore in I quad slightly and I do fill out the whole cup. To me it's too small and a slight shape mismatch in the bottom of the cup.

I have moved on to trying polish now because uk brands don't have enough projection for me whatsoever, and my boobs don't stay close to my chest in those kinds of bras, they push the bra away from my chest. I've completely given up on those kinds of bras because they just don't work. What is your opinion on the Kris Line I reviewed below this?

But ordering from Poland is actually no problem at all for me as I live in sweden. Shipping is about the same as ordering from the UK and returns cost the same aswell so that's fine. I have ordered once from EM many years ago aswell no problems, I just want to have my size down before making an order.

    • alidieux I second what cupandahalf said, the bra is too big on you. I actually had an BM bra that gave a similar shape like this gives you. Very pointy. They are not supposed to give that shape, you don't fill out the bra on top. That's why it's also too tall. Here is my old fit request of BM Malachit, it doesn't look as pointy on me but with the help of fellow bratabasers I found out it was too big in cup. (Since I went up 1 cup recently, I can add a pic of how the bra supposed to look if it fits.

    • forgot the link: http://bra.pe/T9Z/

    • alidieux the Kris Line looks like your best fit of all but there is still some loose fabric and the straps are a little wide so you might try the bra a cup size down as well. But the shape and height looks really good for you and the wires look like they are in the right spot. The KL is much better cut for your shape- the side view comparison especially.

What really helped me is ordering a range of sizes and trying them all at the same time. That’s not always possible due to financial and availability but when I can it does help. See through or lighter colored bras also help you visualize your breast tissue and where it is in the bra.

It may also be that due to your shape and breast composition you need bigger bras than might work for others. I know there’s a user on here who has very pointy breasts which are sensitive to compression and she chooses padded bras which are functionally too large but don’t compress her at all, for comfort.

At the end of the day what is comfortable to you and what you feel good in is paramount so take my words as a recommendation not a fact.

On the other hand, wrinkling at the wire, bra slipping down, gore not tacking are signs of a bra not fitting. They don’t necessarily point to the bra being too small, it’s just that most bras people are wearing are too small.

If when you press down the gore you quad, then this bra is likely not compatible from a shape perspective as it is also too tall (pretty common for shorter rooted people in Ewa bras).

    • cupandahalf thanks, it's very helpful with all this info and perspective from others! It's so overwhelming trying new cuts and styles when they are so different from what I am used to.

I'm going to order a few more Kris Line in both 75K and 75JJ, and also 80J in SM cut because I am curious how that would fit.

    • I’m glad it’s helpful! I hope your Kris Lime experiment gets you where you want to go. I have tried hundreds of bras over the past five or six years so I understand completely.
