    Didn't fit

I actually get quadding in this BM on both sides. It's kind of odd how my smaller side has tissue getting shoved out the opposite side.
Boy, but is this band the sweet spot. It's wonderful.

Glad the band is good! Too bad the cups aren't. O.o

      Small victories ;)

    • Indeed. We'll take all the victories we can get. :-D

This colour looks SOOOO good on you though!!

I guess you're a 60L? The 60L SF Iris looks like the best fit of this lot.

I gotta ask, how do you do with a 60 band and a 72cm super tight measurement? I can just barely handle my 65 bands, even though I feel like if I had a tighter band the support would be way way better!

Oh I just realised that the tone of what I wrote is weird (forgive my non-nativeness). What I meant is, is it actually bearable? I've been thinking of trying out a 60 but I'm so unsure...

    • AprilGoulding Hey thanks! I actually think I'm more of a 65KK but since both of my 65K SF's I tried have major quadding, I might have to try a 65L. I'm very unsure about it.

,@brasaremean hahaha, no that's okay. I understand your question. Based on the measurement of the band on a lot of the 28's I posted yesterday, they're actually more of an "in between" size. They're not small enough to be a 28, but not big enough to merit a 30 band. They're tight, yes. But, the thing is with my tissue, I find that sometimes I need a snugger band. I think it's got a large part to do with how pendulous my breasts are when compared to others. Most of the time, they work out. Other times, I feel suffocated.
I wouldn't recommend sizing down in the band if you feel your 65's are already pretty tight. I only did it out of error. My band was being pushed down my ribcage (which happens to measure an inch to an inch and a half smaller) by my breasts. I'm probably going to try a 65 band again :)

    • brasaremean Maybe it makes more sense to say that the weight of my breasts were pushing my band down and out of my IMF zone. :)

brasaremean In the upper cup ranges, Ewa's band lengths get wonky so half the time a 60 band is cut more to the length of a 65. DerangedDragons19 is between band needs, a bit too big for a true 60 band but below the need for a TTS 65. These bras she is trying are mine that I sent to her to test out, so she knew what size they were ahead of time. It makes it easier as she is trying to figure out her band and cup needs. With the inconsistencies of Ewa over the last year, it is really difficult (and expensive) as you know to go through trial and error with Ewa in unreturnable sizes.

MamaPagan Indeed! And you're seriously a lifesaver haha. That's my conunudrum. I don't know if I want to chance ordering a 65KK and having it be too big in the band/small in the cups or risk a 60L SF and have the band too big :/

    • I'm not sure if you tried my 65K PinUp yet, but if so you can see it runs smaller in the cup than the other SF 60KKs, so not a true sister size in cup volume. The 70JJ was even smaller in volume than the 65K. Point being, 65L may serve you better *IF* Ewa is willing to make it *AND* allow you to order it. :-/

MamaPagan I did try yours and I did have quadding :( a lot of it.
Right, and that's the theory I was running with. The 65L might be the best option if she's willing to make it. Depth is non-existent (apparently) in the SF as you go up in cup sizes. It's pretty irritating.

    • 1

Singular depth doesn't change much *but* overall cup volume does. The bottom three sections are sewn differently to allow for more space. The 60KK to 60L don't measure that different but space wise you can tell there's more room indeed.
They just failed to get sister sizing correct. :-/

MamaPagan She and I actually have almost exact same underbust measurements is why I asked mainly. Both upside down and the regular way, the 65 feels pretty tight, esp after I've worn it for a couple hours.

    • Honestly maybe it's due to too small cups, I don't even know anymore. The 65GGs I have are all pretty shallow for me. I think custom Antonina I'm ordering in 65H. Since I'm paying extra anyways...

    • It could be brasaremean, but it could also be the fact that Ewa makes the 60 band longer in K and over cups. Due to this, it wouldn't really be comparable. It is all very frustrating indeed.
Hopefully Antonina works better for you.

MamaPagan That's what I meant in a lot less words :P the sister sizing thing has me so confused. I don't know why Ewa can't get it right. It's not even just our cup range but the smaller sizes too :/

@brasaremean As I mentioned, it's a little different for me since my band gradually gets pushed down, but even for me, now that I've tried on several TTS and not TTS 60 bands, I can say with confidence that the 65 band is what I should be wearing, even if I have to wear it on the tightest hookset. I haven't had the chance to wear one of the non TTS 60 bands, but they just FEEL better. It makes the quadding I get seem less pinched in the cups too.
I can understand wanting to size down to try and fix fit issues--believe me. I really don't think it's going to help you as much as you're hoping though :(
Hopefully your 65H can answer some questions for you! :)

    Used to fit

    BM Porto 60KK

BM Porto is an unpadded fuller coverage full lace bra in a beautiful reddish-purple wine with black accents. The cups have the standard 3 pieces, 2 lower sections with one vertical seam and an upper horizontal stretch lace section, plus it has an outer wedge area that connects the cups to the straps securely. The gore to the wing on the band is a satiny pattern like the cups on the S Porto. The gore has a dual diamond dangle. It looks very elegant.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take ... all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 30” and feels very stretchy. The tulle on the band is semi-sheer. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.25”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

As for fit, the band is stretchy but comfortable on the tightest hook set, and the cups fit beautifully with the gore 1.5 fingers off the sternum (which isn’t bad for me.)

I also ordered the matching panties, which has the same satiny pattern material in the front, and a sexy sheer bikini style back with the same dual diamond dangle on the backside. The 38(10) measures 66cm flat to 89cm stretched, though it is supposed to be for a 91-96cm hip range, so it runs small. I requested these in a 36(8) but didn’t correct Kaska when she wrote up the invoice as the 38 (10), and in this case, I am glad as a size down would most likely have felt less comfortable.
