CH Cherry is the first CH Ewa has made in some time. I didn't particularly care for the looks of it when it was released, but since the CH can't be beat in terms of immediate projection in my size, I did not hesitate to purchase it.
This is hands down the most projected bra I have. I have six (?) other CHs and they don't even come close. I believe Ewa tweaked her pattern, she must have, because this bra could show movies.
Cherry is a deep dark red, really similar to a just under-ripe Bing cherry, with a black mesh overlay. The mesh is netted with dots. The ... band is black powermesh. The cup straps and the shoulder straps are fully adjustable and made of the cheapest elastic on the planet. The entire bra is finished off with red bows, a giant one in the center and smaller ones on the straps.

It seems quite a few people got loose bands with the Cherry. I didn't. Mine stretches to about 29" and works for me on the loosest or second set (of four) of hooks.
The shoulder straps are stupid. They are so very thin and too stretchy. They are cheap and they look it. They're fully adjustable, but they are almost impossible to adjust. Once in place, they stay there but getting them in place is a chore. They are initially itchy, but that goes away. I wore the bra for an entire day with the straps as is, they do more or less stop being annoying, but I have to over-tighten them and they leave awful red marks on me. I have straps to replace them with and I plan on doing that before I wear the bra again.
The cups are very open and very projected. So, the bra seems big. I have to wear the pad on my right side. In my pics I have both pads in, but it's unnecessary on my left side and actually causes the cup to be too small so I just wear the one. I couldn't size down, but I wasn't expecting it to be so open when I ordered it. The cup pretty much comes out from the wire parallel to the floor, it's amazing actually and definitely presents the bust. Because the projection is insane and my roots are short, there is not a whole lot of cleavage going on for me, which is fine.
The wires are very comfortable. Even with the pads taking up space, they do not make their way out of my IMF. They are narrow and awesome.
The cup straps, I don't think I care for them. I can't get them to lay flat and not twist. I also can't adjust them to a length where they are lying against my skin but not cutting into my inner fullness. I just can't find that sweet spot with them. I believe most of those issues are from breast shape. I have very short roots so I am functionally FoB. The cup straps are laying across muscle for the majority of their length and not across breast tissue. I've seen the bra on women that are more FoT and the straps look a lot nicer. I was considering removing them, but my husband really likes them so I'll keep them, they aren't uncomfortable so it isn't a problem. If I could figure out a way to make them detachable, that would be great.

I bought the underwear in a 38. They fit well, a little loose at the waist, but just right at the back. They are comfortable, but come up a bit high, hitting just below my belly button.

So funny that even when EM bras arent perfect they are still amazing. Cheapest elastic on the planet lol

    • 2

Fantastic news for us projected users :-) Beautiful!!

    • 3

It looks fabulous on you, despite the issues! <3 It doesn't look cheap at all!

    • 2

Thanks! The bra itself is lovely, it's just the shoulder straps that I feel need improvement.

I bought this bra mostly because of the spaghetti straps, otherwise I wasn’t enthralled by the design. Actually the stock photos don’t do it justice. It’s a very elegant bra. It reminds me of the CH Purple that I still regret not having bought. I think it’s even more beautiful and thoroughly designed.
The cut is a perfect copy of the Onyks - narrow wires and open cup. The cup volume is typical for this cut, the band is TTS.
I like the contrast between the black, shiny elements (straps, band, the satin ribbon on and under the cups) and the mat material on the cups. The cups (probably rose) ... are overlaid with a black lace that gives them an elegant purple colour. As always, I find the central bow too big and rather kitsch https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Unfortunately, it’s not as comfortable as Syrena. I would like to curse the person who designed these straps and punish her by obliging to adjust them every day to the end of time! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> They are UNADJUSTABLE without additional tools (they should provide them with the bra). The problem is the sliders are thinner than the straps (also in the spaghetti straps), which makes it really hard to move it. I also find the straps are too thin for this size, hard and overall uncomfortable (which also reminds me of the Onyks). That being said, the band, even though not as soft as in Syrena, is pretty nice and firm.
It feels quite strange to have these additional straps, I’ll have to get used to feel them on the upper part on my breast. I would prefer the sliders less visible or no sliders at all. I'm not sure yet if I'll dare to wear this bra outside with the spaghetti straps showing off.
I actually haven’t decided yet if I’ll keep it (the statistics say I will, I’ve never sent back any of my EM bra so far).

EDIT: I added measurements and they confirm that this bra has very narrow underwires, the narrower of all the CHs I've owned (I took the measure 3 times). Happily there's enough depth in the cup for the breast tissue. That is actually typical for this style which gives a very projected shape.

The shoulder straps are terrible! Are they super stretchy too?

I think it looks good on you, and I agree about the cup straps. I really like them, but I don't if I'm edgy enough to pull off letting them peek out.

    • 1

Oh I love it! And I'm one of those weird ones that loves thin shoulder straps. I'm also not sure about the bow, but maybe I'll like it more in person. This style really does look lovely on you!

    • 1

they aren't SUPER stretchy, but stretchier than I would prefer. It's barely enough for me, but not enough for bigger cups I think, I hope they took it into consideration in bigger sizes.

    • 1

PetiteCollegiate thanks :) I also like thin shoulder straps in Freya bras, because they are thick and soft. Gossard makes wonderful thin straps, still supportive.
The bow is horrible but I get used ;) It seems like they put gigantic bows when they don't have any better idea ;) I far prefer small and discrete adornments like in HP Kobalt, CHP Noir or S Orzechowa Pralinka.

    • 1

I hope they're better in bigger cups too. I don't mind the thinner straps too much as long as they are not also too stretchy. If they're both narrow and very elastic they dig and hurt.

I love Ewa's giant bows. Especially on the backs of underwear, I feel like my bum is a gift :)
I also really like the delicate bows. The little bow with the pearl charm on HP Kobalt is very sophisticated and lovely.

    • 1

I haven't thought about a gift :D I think Ewa really likes these bows too because she uses them very often, it's a kind of trademark. I find them too imposing but they don't dissuade me from purchasing.

    Didn't fit

I strongly believe that I was sent the wrong size in this bra. I attempted to remedy the issue with Ewa Michalak directly, but she did nothing but blame my body for the issues with the bra. CH Cherry is very immediately projected, and would work best for full on top or tall rooted shapes. The straps feel cheap and they're very thin. The stitching and finishing on mine is a bit questionable as well.

I'm so sorry! Thank you for sharing. This just cemented for me why I will never buy another EM. I've thought about a ch/chp cut but the overly wide straps don't work for me either I'm a 60FF/65F ish. This is also exactly why I will continue to support Comexim. Amazing bras and stellar customer service.

    • 3

I just can't believe the attitude that they have as a company. It's stunning. But yes, Anna from Comexim is absolutely lovely! I'll only be buying Ewa through retailers or secondhand from now on.

    • 2

I won't even buy it through retailers anymore. I don't want to support her company. Now secondhand is another story , but I'd still have to move the straps in which is a pain.

    • 1

    • Ewa bras are the first bras that I've found that actually fit me, so I'll continue purchasing them, but I'll avoid using purchasing from her directly. I've read so many horror stories. I'd love to try Comexim half-cups, but i'm fairly confident they will not fit me well.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but thanks for the post!

    • 1

Total crap customer service. Sorry to hear this happened to you. :(

    • 2

I also found that this bra runs bigger :( I bought the 65F but it was ginormous (because I wore that cup size in Lilia and Onyx) and the 65E I have also is large in the cups. I ended up moving the straps in a little bit and it got rid of the gaping.

    • 3

it must be so frustrating :( even if I also find the cups in Cherry bigger that in other models, I think it's because they're very open, all CHs I have owned have the same cup depth. your measurements clearly show there's something wrong. if I were you, I would consider sending the bra back with a claim, then they'll have to measure it and observe the problem themselves.

    • 4

Too bad EM customer service isn´t very good... :-/

Fortunately their bras don´t fit me (I need wider wires) so I cannot buy them anyway. Back when I wore EM bras I also had to move straps in Every Single Time. We all remember how well EM solved that problem, which was so common for many customers...

    • 2

Yes, your bra is absolutely a mistake, but you already know that :).
You know how many CHs and CHPs I have, they're all within the same measurement range even though some are a little more open or a little more closed. They're also all in the same range as all of yours, except this Cherry which is entirely too deep.
It really sucks that they are treating you this way, and I agree that it feels a little personal.

  4. This bra tecnically fits perfectly!
The wirewidth is acually perfect (wich is very unusual for me!), the strap placement is great, the strappy thing above the cup is easy to adjust and feels comfortable, the cup is nicely low under the arm, the cup is very low covering, wich is hard to find for me, as I seem to have very short roots. So this is all just perfect!
BUT.. under my bigger boob the wire sits painfully on my rib :/ I'm not sure why and I hope it will go away with some wearing and washing!

I think it is hurting because the cup is really a bit too small and the whole bra therefore is riding down on you. This bra is called a half cup but is designed to have more coverage than this. The side pics in particular show how the cup is really failing to contain enough of the breast mass to remain stable and not dig or hurt. I think it is really a shallower shape than what would perfectly fit your ultra projected anatomy, so to get a comfortable, workable fit you would be forced to size up. If you just want to use it as a boudoir bra, for photos or for a very brief period you could use those under-the-wire pads, I think they are called Pambra or something? But really I would recommend a less shallow shape cup or larger size if you love this shape.

    • Thx wendybien ! I was thinking of sending this back and exchanging it for a bigger size, but I am afraid there is gonna be gapping then :/ or what do you think?

    • 1

I think it's the opposite, actually. The bra is too projected for you. The CH is the most projected of all the Ewa Michalak shapes, and particularly, a lot of people had trouble with the CH Cherry, because it was even more projected than other CH.

Are you wearing any cookies? I think that if you aren't, maybe you could go one cup size up, and stock some cookies in the cups, see how that turns out and if prevents gaping. I agree that normally this bra is of higher coverage, and it may look as the wires are too narrow (I could be wrong) and there is too much armpit exposed. However, in the end, comfort is the most important thing. I think that the fit doesn't look horrible by any stretch, so if you like it, I would stick to it. You could try the cup size up and decide between the two, and that would be my advice.

    • I think a size up will likely be too big, but if you pad it with cookies it might work well. The sizing on this bra has been a conundrum for a lot of people. It's a shame because this bra is what made me fall in love with EM. It was the most amazing bra fit (although way too small in the cup) I'd ever seen. You look like you're probably in between the 65E and 65F judging on how I've seen it look on myself and another user that tried multiple sizes for it. I should be getting mine it what I hope to be the correct size within the week. Good luck to you because this is such a gorgeous bra.

    • Veritas thx for your suggestions! I don't think it is too projected, it does slip out of my IMF on my bigger side (it's great on my smaller side)
I am not wearing any cookies but I would have to on the smaller side. I think my bigger side is like 1/2 a size to big for this size, but I m afraid I would not get any cleavage in a bigger size anymore :/
The thing is by the time the bigger bra is made I csn not exchange this one anymore :/

@girl333 yes thats why I m afraid of getting anotherone made.. I am afraid it Will end up totslly differant :/
Good luck with yours and fingers crossed it fits! :)

    • 1

If you want PetiteCollegiate has all 3 sizes up so you can see what I mean by my thinking you'll be inbetween sizes. I also have pictures up of myself in her 55FF that ran super large. I've had some tissue migration since taking them, so the quadding is much worse. I did have Jaimie email them to make me a 55G that fit as closely to a chp 55GG as possible. I'll get my bra Tuesday at the latest, so I'll let you know how it worked. I was like you with it though. It was the best fit ever, but too small. I wasn't sure if one cup or two cups up would solve the problem. Everyone that's tried it seems to find incredible inconsistency with it and the cup seems to run at least a little large. If I didn't love it so much I wouldn't be trying so desperately to make it work. Gee sorry for long rant. I have a lot to say about this bra!

    • 1

I also doubt it is too projected, I think it's the opposite. Projection is an allover thing, so although many EM cups are narrow compared to their depth, if the shape is too "blunt" i.e. rounding or flattening at the front of the cup many people will need more room there at the apex in order to get the whole boob into it properly.

Also, I know Bratabase doesn't always offer a representative sample but if you look at the user photos, the ones who seem to have gotten the best fit are people whose upper pole is somewhat shallow (even if they are FOB overall).

Given how tall the most projected part of your boobs is, I don't see how you would get any significant gaping by sizing up, especially if you use cookies on your smaller side. Also, a couple millimeters of gape in a foam cup is not a fit problem that would make a bra hard to wear, whereas a cup that's genuinely too small or shallow will be hard to wear comfortably and feel secure in.

    • 2

thank you wendybien for your suggestions! I decided earlier that day too keep it, as I found out that when I pull the cookie pocket under the underwire /between the wire and my boob, there is no pressure anymore and it is really comfortable this way! :)
I wore it all night for drinks and dancing and did not have to adjust it once and I totally forgot about it! :) So I am really glad I finally made up my mind and kept it! :)

    • oh clever! So you basically found a way to use the cookie pocket as a wire pad?

    • Yes exactly! :)

    • 1

BronteBeach I'm glad you can make this work for you. Wait times for Ewa are torture! It looks like it fits you pretty well.

The long awaited Cherry. Underwhelming, but I'm keeping it around as a project. Runs tall and open, meaning everyone who's not FOT could probably size down one and be okay. Narrow wires, wide set straps, typical Ewa. Awful, awful, awful shoulder straps. Truly terrible. However, it's the most projected bra in the history of ever. If you need projection, step right up - there's enough projection for everyone.

Wow, that projection tho!! I would be all over this if you didn't say it ran tall, cuz Ewa half cups always gape on top for me x_x

    • You could probably size down!

    • 1

Hope there are several more CHs coming with .6" straps. The projection would make my breasts sing ;-)

    • Where are you located? I was able to buy return label for $8 on PayPal, which is significantly less than purchasing on USPS or at the post office.

    • Noob My PayPal account won't send international any way but Priority which is $15+. It will send a bubble mailer First Class for a great rate, but even a small box is $$. How did you configure your shipment? Thanks!

    • 1

I did send it as First Class Large Letter in a small box, since Ewa requires you send padded bras back in a box. The one that was sent to me was really large since it contained 4 bras, but I just cut it down and made it as small as I could for the bra. It was about 7 oz with the bra.

    • Noob I've been afraid to select Large Letter when I'm sending a small box; fearing it will arrive "postage due." Have you had any induxatiobs that USPS protested the designation? Exciting....it will help so much with international shipping!

    • 1

I've shipped this way internationally only 3-4 times, so I'm not sure if there would be problems or not in all cases. But I've never had any problems. I believe bubble mailer is also considered package though.

    • 1

I can confirm I've shipped "first class international envelope" in a package and I didn't get arrested by the mail police or anything.

    • 1

I'm in the US and I've sent stuff first class international via PayPal before too. It's cost me as little as $5 and as much as $14 depending on the location. In the end, I kept the bra more so because of the projection than the cost of return shipping.

This may be the prettiest damn bra I've ever seen (though the Katherine Hamilton Sophia is a strong contender). I have desperately wanted this from the moment I saw it during a random bout of going super deep in the archive of Ewa Michalak bras. Luckily, a very sweet Reddit user happened to have one for sale.
I *LOVE* the extra straps! I think they totally add some spice to a low cut shirt or tank top, and it's great that they're adjustable. I die for the deep red/black polka dot pattern and the elegant black vertical seams. The band is a little loose on the loosest hook but ... feels alright on the second and third loosest hooks.
From the reviews, I had read that this is a very open on top style and to size down in the cup if I could, but unfortunately I can't wave a magic boob wand and make Ewa un-discontinue this bra or make someone post a listing for this bra in the right size -- I love the appearance, so I figured I'd try out the 65FF.
Well, all the reviews were correct. I have an even shape, and this is VERY open on top. When I'm wearing it, I look full on bottom.
I am very thankful to the previous owner for including the cookies, because they definitely improve the fit. This bra has beautiful, wonderful, dreamy tons of immediate projection and is SO close to sitting in my IMF. But it's just not closed enough on top for me -- it would help if the cups were taller, but obviously this is a half cup style. The gapping on top is kind of awful on my smaller side without the cookies, but it's significantly diminished by the cookies (I added notes to each pic about whether I had the cookies in in that picture). There's less top gap on my bigger side either way, but the cup fits close to perfect on that side with the cookies. Whatever gap is still there with the cookies in is invisible under shirts (no lines), which is great news since you better believe I'm wearing this bra ALL THE TIME, under EVERYTHING.
I wanted so badly for this bra to work for me, but it looks like I'm still going to need to work on finding fitting-comfortable-bra-number-2. However, I'm definitely keeping this since it's close to fitting and decently comfortable and SO PRETTY (no I am not obsessed shush), even though it's not perfect.
This is my second Ewa Michalak bra (I received both on the same day), and it's a cup size up from the far-too-small S SomethingIcan'tspell 65F. This one doesn't fit either, but it's just as pretty (prettier) than the first!

    • Sorry to hear that it’s a bit roomy. It’s a really pretty bra, but I think an Ewa anomaly? I know I saw a blog post about alterations to it so I’ll have to find it and see if you might benefit from it. Welcome to to Polish side where we have projected cups and narrow wires!

    • Here’s the post, but I don’t think that it’s the answer that you need. It does, however, highlight that it is an odd fit.

"SomethingIcan'tspell"..... oh how that made me laugh! Welcome to the realm of Goldilocks Ewa padded bras. Hopefully you will find your "just right" size (& style) quickly.

As much as I love the extra lift and oomph her padded bras give, after spending a small fortune, I came to realize padded bras just don't work for my breasts. 😖

Even with this one not being your Goldilocks bra, the color compliments your skin beautifully. Hopefully you will get some use out of it!

    • You know I always thought this one was unpadded :)

    • Sovavosi it is, the cup is just lightly lined with cookie pockets. Speaking of which, I was NOT ready for the 5-minute struggle that was trying to get the cookies into the cookie pockets. Could Ewa have designed those pockets in a way MORE difficult to use???

    • 1

Heh yeah, I gave up putting cookies in the CHPs. I'll just be more uneven 😎

    • Cookies in CHP are a pain in the butt.

    • I have this in a 65F which is now a bit small. Let me know if you'd be interested in a trade.

So the CP style is an unpadded bra with cookie pockets? How unusual....

So wouldn't that make it a multiway cup? 😄😋 Small cookies for a semi soft, or the full cup cookies for a padded..Versatile!

MamaPagan The CH is a padded half cup. I believe that the Onyx in the CH line is actually a multi-way. It’s pretty similar to the CHP if I remember correctly. Possibly narrower and more projected than CHP. At least that’s my understanding from reading reviews and blog posts about them.

    • Doh double comment. Sorry.

Calluna It is so much harder to keep track of the details on the styles I haven't tried. A mutliway half cup would be awesome, wouldn't it? I was just being silly with my comment (about an unpadded cup with cookie pockets so that it could in turn be "multiway" in it's ability to be unpadded without cookies, semi soft with small cookies, or padded with full cookies as I know it wouldn't truly be called a multiway due to that ability) but I still think it would be a neat idea! Though the cookie pockets would most likely show through the cup if the cookies weren't in, wouldn't they?
I always thought the CH was a CHP but for the smaller cup ranges, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the additional info!

Okay! I had to look the style up on Ewa's site to refresh my memory and yes, Calluna you are correct in all regards. The only CH left is Onyks (which is a multiway with 3 sets of straps.)
      https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_m_BRAS_CH-Bras-228.html

      The CH description is:
"Padded halfcup bra, perfect for low and broad neckline. Vertical seams give your breasts rounded shape.

The underwires at the center of the bra are higher than in our plunge (PL) bras, but lower than in our soft halfcup (HM) bras. This gives your breast very good support. In comparison to our HP style, the CH halfcup bra pushes your bust forward and upward more."

So now we all know! (I love learning new things & refreshing my memory!)

I can't believe Ewa is down to one bra in that style, and it is down to one size. I guess she is discontinuing it as well? Is she getting rid of all the smaller size range bras? Or maybe she will combine them with the "like styles" in the larger cup range ones, so like the CHP would cover the lower ranges as well or something? It would be very sad if she stopped offering the lower range styles, as I know many women love and need them.

No worries MamaPagan ! Yeah it’s sad that she hasn’t really updated the CH/CHP range lately. Would love to see more of the M and other petite cuts. Wishful thinking.

    • I would just like to see more festive patterns and colors that don't sell out opening weekend! 😄 Seriously though, Ewa needs to update all of her smaller range styles CH, M, 3DM, etc. We have several on here that I know have been patiently waiting with money in hand for new releases that never arrive. I get that the BM and SF are the most popular (as I do love them myself) but that shouldn't mean that the other styles get neglected. Each customer should be valued and their needs should be met.

  7. OMG!!!! I was so nervous about this bra!!! I'd seen reviews about it being a cup bigger than it should be but I took a leap and tried it in my size anyway. It's fits and I feel so good in it!!!! Still trying to get the top straps figured out for how tight I want them but overall I'm in love!!!

    Didn't fit

This is a really pretty bra, but unfortunately did not fit me at all. It's a bit different from CH Onyx and CH Lilia in that the cups are somewhat taller, and more open. The cups are about a centimeter taller. Therefore, it fits a lot bigger and didn't work for me. The little strap things above the cups also do not seem to work very well on me. My roots are quite tall and my breast is quite flat, so it just sort of hangs there. This might also be because the cups were much too large on me, and I ... wasn't getting any lift, but they will definitely need to be moved up to look more flattering on me.
The band on this bra is fairly true to size. It is quite comfortable, but too large on my 25 inch ribs. This particular size does not have the wires going all the way to the ends, so while the gore is quite tall, the wire doesn't go all the way to the end, making it wearable as far as gore height on me.
The normal straps used in this bra are absolutely terrible! They are very cheap feeling and rough. They irritate my skin a bit and I really dislike the thinness. I would have preferred thicker straps so I could tighten them more and get more lift.
Overall, it's a pretty bra. I like the colour and the big bow in the center as well as the concept of the straps over the breasts. Unfortunately, I have sent this bra back in exchange for the 65E, hoping it will work. I'm a little hesitant about how that one will fit since the wires get significantly narrower according to the measurements.

    • Very interesting the CH Cherry fits so differently from the CH Onyx and CH Lilia!

    • 1

My CH Cherry also runs big. But I can't return or sell it since it's a CH & they're so rare. So it's going to become my project bra lol, I have some alterations in mind to do this weekend.

  9. It's really comfortable and I instantly fell in love with the aesthetic. It is low coverage, which makes me wonder if a larger cup size would be better, but it's not bothersome because the top is very open. Plus it might become too projected and open on top in a larger size. The pictures of everyone else wearing it looks a lot more covered up lol.. Still, I have never seen my profile look so projected. I need more bras that push out my boobs the way this bra does. It has excellent depth at the wire.

    Fits

My first Ewa Michalak Ch bra! It's so pretty! Although this bra is a band size or 2 large for me, I love the fit. The underwire pretty much goes into my IMF when I put it on. I didn't really realize other bras didn't do this until having one that does. It gives a very lifted and front -facing silhouette. I love the aesthetic of the little strappy things. I have to leave them very loose because my breast tissue is so soft that they cut in. I need to wear the cookie in my smaller side or the top of the cup gapes. On my larger side, it works with or without. No quad boob when it's in. The main bra straps are the thinnest of any of my bras, so this would likely be problematic in larger sizes. I will likely alter the band on this bra to get a snugger fit. I love it though! For reference, my shape is centre-full, FOB, short & narrow rooted and pendulous.
