I had this bra collecting dust for the longest time, mainly because the boning on the side and the wires dug in. The wires were my widest yet—on my smaller side, it's a good 1.5-2 inches away from my root.
The wire shapes were a very shallow bowl-U. I ended up bending the wires, hard. It was almost to the point where it was an actual U wanting to be a teardrop, but when I put it on, it fit! Wires were still fairly wide, but I could deal with it for maybe 4 hours before they began to bend back again.
For the gore, I actually didn't ... mind. It was pleasantly narrow for my close-set breasts, at least until the bra loosened over time and they began to sit on tissue again. Speaking of the band, it's loose like everyone said, but after I did the wire bending I could wear the bra on the second set of hooks (out of three) instead of the last.
With the wires bent, the cups gaped significantly less (although they do gape slightly on my smaller breast). I'm starting to think I quad in them more now, right after swooping and scooping. My nipples threaten to escape, too. I think the decorative straps above the cups actually push my FOT boobs back in the cups, since they look like they're tempted to leave. Compared to how I tightened the decorative straps a good quarter-halfway of the way down, now I have them almost on the loosest setting.
Straps were wide set like always, but this time they weren't totally up in my armpits like my others (cough Klaudyna and Chaberek) were. If they were less plasticky and more like the Chaberek's stretchy straps, I would've been fine... But they cut. And they're pretty narrow.
As weird as it is to admit it, I think the Cherry is one of my "best fitting" bras I own now. It's not the most comfortable to wear for an entire day due to the stiff/plastic boning and straps, but goodness it's better than I thought it'd be for a bra that collected dust for half a year. Bending the wires is going to be one of the first things I do with future Ewa M bras from now on.

You could always take the stiff boning out!
