Bought for my kid, 28GG territory, high set, short breasted, even/outer full, very close set, not visibly but perhaps due to such short proportions functionally splayed?
Kid's requirements are: close set straps/racerback, petite frame with very narrow, shorter wires, all the depth & projection, narrow tiny gores. Got all that?
Kid appreciates the spacious cups and narrowed gore in CH but struggles a bit needing the extra room in the CHP cups which come at the cost of dealing with a taller gore. This is where Gazeta truly shines, it's certainly in sub 28" band territory, cups a scant 6" tall at center panel, ... and their depth accommodates excessively for a '30G' at about 10.5 depth halfway up & tops off at about 11" -11.5+" along the top hem! Gazetta's hem is also finished with some kind of soft sheer ruffled elastic trimming which neither makes the cup cut in, nor gape. It looks perfectly smooth and not gathered, so the extra room is probably hidden magic in the outer panel which also runs slightly taller than the inner side of the cup. This is significant to consider given that in 65G, the inner panel seam is a mere 5" tall and could easily quad horribly for an inner full shape, but instead the cup compensates for a wide variety of sizes on an evenly full shape and allows breasts to settle comfortably in a central, forward position. This model has ZERO pushup to it, just pure blessed FOB, FOT, inner, outer full friendly support.
Four! rows of very strong hooks stiched down to a buttery felt backing with tiny stitches. Wires are superfine but rigid, their channeling is velvety and tight with little excess space on either end to spare. It's fabrics are fairly sturdy but sleek, lining is very soft like a pillow, airy and fused to the foam pieces which comprise the cups; the outer decorative layer is stretchy lightweight swim knit which floats but still sewn directly to the underlayers along each seam. All of the elastics, powernet and strap have a heavier duty quality that has lasted fantastically through the last decade since it was made. Something that stands out is the odd way that the armscye is almost completely horizontal like Gazeta was made for a high set users who have trouble with outer cup cutting into their tail of spence, but then the straps ascend so incredibly far off to the side that they just cut right into the wearer's shoulders and then fall off of them, anyway. It's weird. It's not a huge issue as we've attached J hooks to use it as a racerback but it just seems like more thought could've been done about strap placement
As usual, the band is superior in shape for conical ribcages, but the ballet back is pretty wideset when it would've been better to just make the ascent of the strap completely vertical from the hooks- when worn the scoop stretches sideways and kind of lets the upperfullness of a taller breast pull the straps to the very side of the arms in back :/ Definitely not a stretched too tight issue, this has happened a with a lot of bras that can't seem to figure out scaling for narrow backs... Not great but again, nothing a j hook can't fix.
While kiddo misses the fit of the M cut and still yearns for a petite-friendly, deeper plunge deco, Gazeta is all in all a uniquely spacious, wonderfully comfortable, super cool bra. Hopefully more like this will be made available!
