This bra is great. Seriously great I love it so much. There's just one thing that bugs me but we'll get into that. This bra was from Ebay, and someone (sorry, forgot) posted the link here. I am forever grateful because this is my new favourite bra. It is second hand, but according to the seller only worn once or twice. The band actually stretches to 30 inches which is nice. It's pretty narrow near the hooks and eyes. The straps are plush and only half adjustable but are comfortable, not too wide set and don't need to be shortened for now. The bra itself is adorable. I love ... all the bows. The colour is great too. The wires are a good width and length and seem to be narrow enough for me. The gore is a decent height and tacks firmly but not painfully. I love the 3 part cup and the shape I get from it. It's very open on top and fits nicely. My biggest issue with this bra is the quality. For the most part, it's great quality. However, there are two spots in the band (probably in the same space on either size) where the stitching has come undone. It's about an inch on either side and I'm not sure the best way of fixing this. I'll probably very carefully try to replicate the zigzag stitching. I just really love the bra and I hope this doesn't impact the amount of times I can wear it. I'll post pictures of it and maybe y'all can help me decide if I should bring it to my tailor (have to go anyway) or whether I should try and fix it myself. Overall, I LOVE this bra and that's the only issue I have with it. My bigger problem now is that I want all the CHP's!

OH I have this exact bra! Simply in another size (unfortunately I need cookies for it even though it doesn't have a pocket for them lol oh well). It's such a great color (as well as burgundy I am obsessed with grey so you totally got my favorite color palette) and it gives such a perfect cakes-on-a-platter look! My only qualm is that the straps are so far apart. But it looks like it fits you super well and I also want all the CHPs :'( I've had a similar problem with stitching on a Comexim but I didn't end up keeping it, so I never got around to properly fixing it. Hopefully a more adept seamstress can give you some input for that!

    • I think I should take it to my tailor first. I don't want to butcher it. I want all my future bras from Ewa to be this shape. Sadly my next one coming is an S shape but that'll work fine. I have my eyes on the Opium but my wallet is screaming no. If she ever came out with a bra that was both grey and burgundy I'd buy it so fast my wallet wouldn't know what hit it.

What a lovely bra. I love this colourway. It really looks to fit you so well giving your breasts a lovely natural shape. It is so fustrating to have a bra that looks good and feels so comfy on only to have it loose its shape or fall apart.I am sure a tailer would be able to make it like new. good luck

    • That is probably what I would do, too, just considering that the bra itself is worth a pretty penny. I'm really curious to see how the S shape fits you - the only experience with EM I've ever had is with the CHP (literally this one). Since our boobs seem to be doing the same exact thing in this bra, I wonder if the S will fit you like it would hypothetically fit me? Hmmm....
(Also oh gosh I am a sucker for burgundy but especially grey - so hard to find! Designers for bra companies, if you're reading this, please oh please I need more grey and we all do <3)

    • I squeeze myself into the S honestly. I prefer the look with the pads best, but then that makes the bra a little too small. The next size up is too big, even with the pads. So not an ideal situation but at least it looks better than it sounds. I love how open the CHP is.
Scott Thanks! It is frustrating when bras don't hold up as well as you'd like, especially when one is supposed to be almost new.

Your seamstress or you can definitely and easily fix the stitches . Caused by either poor workmanship or being worn so tight it popped the stitches . As it is on both sides I am going to guess it was way to small for the prior owner and hopefully they disclosed the broken stitches in the ad as a full time eBay seller of clothing myself it's sad to hear when people are disappointed with items they get . Gives us all a bad reputation of course I just got a unwashed dirty bra off eBay and not happy about that .
So take your bra and color match the thread , starting a bit before the missing part do your zigzag stitch (practice before on a scrap to get the width set ) and continue on just past where the stitches begin again . I think you can certainly do it yourself in just a few minutes on your machine remember that you can go slow your not cutting anything and if you don't like it you can get out the seam ripper and unsew and try again . Good luck .

    • Ivp Thanks for the advice. I'd have to do it by hand because my machine is at home so I'll see what my tailor has to say. She's used to me bringing her some odd things by now.

Then definitely take it to the tailor it will be an easy fix for her and if you are having to go that route might as well have her just redo the whole stitching along the length that has come undone , a 3 step zig zag is the strongest for knits used in active wear if you wanted to mention could you use a stronger zigzag like a 3 step to replace . Your going to be so happy with your find after the fix . I think all my sewing lately has been bra fix and alterations on my finds . Fyi while you are chatting with her ask if she is open to other alteration on bras like taking in the band at the clasp it's pretty easy and makes those bras that come with too big bands wearable .

Ivp I'll bring that up next time I stop in. I took the bra to her and she said that it was an easy fix. I'm not too concerned about the band being under too much strain when it gets fixed because it's pretty true to size and there fore is just a smidge big on me.

I am so grateful to have come across this bra! It is a much simpler EM style, with three-part vertically-lined cups, subtle piping across the top of the cups, smooth, unadorned straps and two small, flat rosette bows on the center gore. It's made of gorgeous silver-grey knitwear which has the slightest satiny sheen and feels super soft against the skin. It's a very unusual color to find in a bra, and it makes for an interesting neutral option also.

Being an older CHP model from 2012, it differs from EM's newer models in that it doesn't have the optional asymmetry pads, which is just fine by me because ... the cups, being very open on top, encapsulate my boobs perfectly without, uplifting them into a perfectly round shape without any gaping or overflow. Just for reference, however, I've included one picture without pads (taken from another CHP in the same size) and one with. As compared to my other CHPs, this one gives a more compact look that's held closer to the chest. I usually love super feminine, frillier bras with lots of details, but this is a nice departure and a very practical basic option for times when something smooth and seamless is needed; however much I love my Polish padded bras, most of them show some trace of seams beneath thin, fitted shirts, so it's awesome to find one that doesn't!

The straps are only half adjustable, which I don't love, but thankfully I don't need to adjust them very much. The band firmness, gore and cup height are all pretty identical fit-wise to the newer CHP models.

This is one of those bras that has me constantly sneaking peeks at my breasts throughout the day because they just look so damn good! I was worried that a CHP bra would have too much projection for me, but this bra fits like a dream. I ordered it in the equivalent of the smaller of my two "normal" cup sizes and it worked out perfectly. I've heard that the EM PL bras run small in the cup, but didn't really notice much of that here. The fabric isn't as stiff as the HP Kobalt that I tried and the bra seems to be more willing to move ... with me than the Kobalt did (though, to be fair, the Kobalt might relax a bit after wearing and washing). I love the shape this bra gives, I love how comfortable it is, in fact, the only thing I don't completely love about this bra is the lack of triple hooks in back. That's really the only thing that could make this bra better for me. Wish I could order a few more of these, but they appear to be gone in my size.
