    Fits

I'm writing this review after wearing this bra from 5AM to 6PM. It was incredibly comfortable, with only a little bit of tenderness from the gore. For the first wear, at 12+ hours, not bad.

My breasts: Narrow, tall root, I fit a 30E in Freya, and 30F in most other bras. All bras have wires way too wide, including the Freyas. I'm guessing the Freyas are 0.5-1 inch too wide, and my Cleo Juna's wires go on forever it seems. I have quite a bit of immediate projection, which makes finding bras where the wires don't get pushed down out of my inframammary fold hard to find. ...

This bra comes with 3 sets of straps, the wide, cushy straps (partially adjustable; may be problematic for ladies with short torsos), a set of narrow, fully adjustable straps, and one longer strap to wear as a halter top dealio. I know that some women have had problems with Ewa's straps being set too far apart, and as you can see in the photos, I have no problems with this. I rather like the strap attaching lower on the side - I don't have much breast tissue on the outside, and this strap placement seems to gather it up and make it look good.

This bra was great for me, all around! The projection was perfect, the cups didn't get pushed down at all. And MIRACLES of miracles, the wires fit me! Well, my larger breast, and what more could a girl with slightly uneven breasts ask for? How about removable "push up" padding!? Shark week this week, and the bra fits perfectly without the pads, and next week, I can put them back in if need be, or in just the right side to correct my asymmetry. The pads, you can see in the photo, are a nice size, and discrete.

The seams in the bra show a little bit in my sheerest shirts, but I'd say they are less visible than my Freya Patsy or b.temp't Ciao Bella.

Here's my confession: I used the Ewa Michalak calculator, and ordered what it told me to. True story! And all 3 bras fit! I ordered 3 Ewa bras (PL Onyks, CH Onyks, and CHP Orchidea) at the same time, and they all fit like a charm. I'm guessing I'll have my "regular" bra size of 30F, my Freya bra size of 30E, and my Ewa bra size of 70DD.

This is by far my favorite bra, and my favorite out of the Ewas I have. Other than waiting for the shipment (oh, the need for immediate gratification!) my experience with Ewa was just fine. I will be ordering from them again, for sure!

Update: I've had this bra for 4 months now, and it's my most frequent flyer. Love love love this bra. Just had to move to the second set of hooks. Super comfortable still, and it looks just as lovely as it did on day 1 (hand wash, no dryer). Can't rave enough about this bra!

    Didn't fit

Recently I pretty consistently fit into a 70DD in Ewa Michalak bras.

The cups of the PL Onyks ended up too high (with too much coverage) and the cup rim was cutting in.
At the same time, the gore was not tacking.

Compared to my other PLs, the cups of this one are more closed on top, but also shallower overall.
Both is not perfect for me - I need a little projection as well as open cups due to my upper fulness.

Last but not least, I found the bra to be too covering for a 70DD. I prefer cups with a little less height.

This bra is not owned any more
