Woohoo! My first PL is a success, so thank you to everyone who advised me on sizing. I usually get 36 bands in Ewa because they tend to run firmer, but this 75 band feels great on me.

Disclaimer: This bra is the wrong size for me. I knew that when purchasing it, BUT I was curious as to what it would look like to have a bra with a depth closer to my breast perimeter (this one is about 12.6 inches). However, it fits pretty well when I put in a second set of pad (that's how the pictures were taken) so I'm actually debating keeping it. It also makes me wonder if I would do better in a 70JJ than a 70J.
This bra is so much prettier than it is in the pictures. It is black with a black floral lace overlay, which has ... some gold embroidery. The lace is not wrap around, and stops about an inch after the edge of the cup (just eyeballing that measurement). The gore has a black bow with with a little pendant on it.
I'm not really sure how much validity any of my fit comments will be, because it is not quite the right size. I'll still give my thoughts though. Firstly, this bra is super comfortable. The fabric is probably the softest out of all of my bras. The straps also don't seem to be nearly as much of a problem as they are in my S Granatowa Pantera.
The PL cut definitely gives a much more rounded shape overall than the S cut. While the S cut kind has a lot of vertical roundness (you look round top to bottom), the PL cut also has horizontal roundness (you look rounded from side to side as well). There is definitely noticeably less lift in the PL cut than the S cut. I think that the PL cut would probably work better on people who have more upper fullness than I do. That being said, this bra is so much more comfortable than any of the S cut bras I've tried. So while I don't like the shape quite as much, the comfort level is awesome. I do wish the cups were a teeny bit shorter on the outside, though. My roots are a little short.
Another thing that I'll note is the 4 part construction of the cup, which is different than the 3 part construction of all of my other EM cups. I was expecting this, as they change to a 4 part cup either at a JJ cup or sister sizes of a 70JJ (I forget which it was). Since the bras I have in 3 part cups are all a different cut than this bra (as well as different sizes) I can't really draw too many comparisons between the two.
I do think that I prefer the S cut as of right now, but I would be curious to try a PL cut in a 70JJ before writing it off completely. It also works great as a comfort bra, so I may have to add a few to my collection for that purpose

10 hour drive? totally doable lol!
Sure and I will make the trip from Oregon :) this was the size I was looking at but I do like uplift as my breast start just above my lower ribs nice to bring them above the elbows . I like the idea of more roundness I need to look at the seeming in your pictures more closely . I too lack upper fullness unless enough compression than hello where did you come from very fluid breast . Thanks for the very detailed review . Someone should have a bra Tryon rental company like the special occasion dress rent the red carpet or whatever it's called . I would so rent a bra to try on wouldn't you?

My "boob sister" and I are sending bra packages to one another. And, my local "boob 1st cousin" and I are meeting this weekend to swap. :-) :-) I'm thrilled others are willing to share. And, we add more data to Bratabase :-)
This is the second of the two cheap Ewas that I got from another user recently. It was a bit of a gamble because it is a cup size larger than the current Ewas that I own, but as I have minor spilling or puffing from them, especially after ovulation, I thought that I would try this. I thought that maybe it would only fit with the cookies in, or only after ovulation, but for the price, it was too good to pass up, and I had a few back up people in mind to offer to if it didn’t work. My Marcie has been fitting better lately, ... and as I said, my 70E S Szykus and Pl Carmen were showing a bit of spilling (the 65F SM Wrozka came with this Pl Zlote Oko) with my scale having added about 5lbs lately, so it was worth a shot.
Well, I’m here to say it fits. With and without cookies. Obviously, the cookies provide that extra bit of oomph, but are not really necessary to make the bra fit. Pre ovulation, I have a tiny bit of a gap in the cups if you really look and nit pick the fit. It’s really trivial and minor. And it’s more on my small side anyway.
The band on this one, like the SM Wrozka, is highly stretched out and so I feel like I’m not getting quite the firm fit on the sides and back that I would like to have, but it’s good on the first few hooks. It’s not the tightness of the band itself, but the material that it’s made of that feels a bit looser than the elastic top and bottom of the band, if that makes sense. It’s obviously a wear thing and has no reflection on how a brand new one would fit. I’m getting tension from the elastic bands at the top and bottom...but the material of the band is not as snug as it should be. You might be able to see it in the pictures.
I do absolutely love the gold threading in the lace covered cups and the round crystal charm at the gore. I’m getting great cleavage, as to be expected from a plunge bra. Of course, I love the low gore. No stabby sternum here! The inner cotton lining for the cookie pockets of the bra is definitely the softest of the 3 that I have with it. I’m not sure if it’s a previous owner wear or washing thing, or something else from the construction, but it’s nice on my boobs, especially the days leading up to and after ovulation when I don’t really want *anything* to touch them...especially my nipples since they’re incredibly sensitive from about 3 days before ovulation until my period (which I figured out with sympto thermal cycle tracking).
Fit wise, I do feel like the cups are both a tad wide and tall, compared with the 70E Pl Carmen, which is to be expected because it is a larger cup size. (EDIT: I decided to add the comparison pics that I initially took to the gallery to see) It’s not a huge problem, and I have wire marks that do follow my roots quite well, but because I have soft tissue, I feel like I can get into narrower bras which also helps bring the tissue forward some. I do prefer the look of the shorter cups of the 70E Pl Carmen over the 65FF Pl Zlote Oko, but this one is still fine. It’s got pretty good immediate depth for my pendulous tissue though, and it’s comfortable to wear, which is probably the most important part. I think my center full tissue is slightly better contained than in the 70E Pl Carmen. My tissue tends to lean even to full on bottom, and I have no issues with the fit with my shape characteristics. My roots are average height, but somewhat functionally short as I am a bit deflated. Because of this, I have a little bit of strap gap, but it’s ok.
Ultimately, I really like the bra. I think it’s a pretty good fit, and the price can’t be beat. I’d definitely consider getting this new or newer in the future. I’d love to have matching panties.

Stabby Sternum....I love it! Haha!
Glad it fits well. :-)
Thanks MamaPagan. What do you think? Does it look good to you?
Yep, it looks great. :-)
I sure do love Ewa's bras! I decided to go up from an E to F cup and the fit is way better. I use the cookie on the smaller breast side and it balances me out just right. I also love how comfortable these bras are. When you first put them on they feel snug but wear them for a few hours and they seem to fit just right and the best part? After a few hours the bra becomes more comfortable. I love the shape I get too - my girls are lifted and it gives me a waist. Ewa's fitter suggested I stay at an E cup size and try the S style for more coverage but in reality, it's my larger side that needs the F and the cookie fixes the slightly too large cup on the other side just fine. I'm always struggling to fit the larger breast and I finally found a solution that works.

I bought this bra used, because I've been told that PL in my size range is not that much lower than the S, so I've been really wanting to try it. For whatever reason, my pictures came out awful. I'll post one or two and try to take more later. My breasts were touching before I did my reverse-swoop-and-scoop, so I suspect they will generally touch when I'm wearing it - which is not something I particularly want, but it is good to have a couple of bras to wear under low-cut tops. The wires seem shorter on the outside as well as the inside, which is not particularly a plus for me.
Overall, i'm pleased with the fit, and the gold patterned lace overlay is quite nice looking, if not my usual style. Having just reviewed a BM, I cant help but notice that the lace on this PL seems to be sewed down to the bra body a lot more thoroughly than the BM was.

My second try at an Ewa Michalak bra, and I think it's a great match! I'm wearing one of the removable pads in the right cup, which is my smaller side. The gore tacks perfectly and is so comfortable . And, holy cleavage! I first tried a 70GG in a different PL style (Triumf), which was a bit small in the cup. But this bra in a 70H seems perfect! Apologies for subpar pictures, but I'm not a great self-photographer and my husband kept botching it up. My photos don't capture the beautiful gold embroidery on the cups. I'm still new at the Ewa Michalak bra thing, so I was wondering if there are any cup sizing variations across the different styles (S, CHP, SM, BM). Like, if I'm an H in the PL style, should I go up or down a cup size in any of the others? I'm full on top and have more center fullness.

My first EM I received from braswap. I love the narrow wires and how close the cups are. It defiantly brings everything in front and centers. I wish the gore was even lower because it is sitting on breast tissue and hurts by the end of the day. The band a little too tight and the lace is itchy. I hope these improve with wear. It has more projection then my other padded plunges but not to extreme I thought. I guess I could try a CHP but I am afraid of the high gore. The design on the cups looks better in person. When I am not wearing the cups are bent inward at the top, maybe a defect, but it looks fine once I have the bra on.

This is very pretty indeed. This is the size I would take in it (or a 60G preferably) so thank you for including pics and measurements. I've never tried a PL from EM due to the fear of inadequate immediate projection. Almost nothing is projected enough for me. I do like her CH/CHP cuts but the gores are higher. They sit on my breast tissue, but I don't find them painful. Of course, YMMV.
I was reading your blog and I don't think the PL cut would work for. I dont have too much projection, just enough to make things difficult. I plan on eventually trying CHP, I guess I wont know if the gore will bother me unless I try.
I have this bra and love it too! Hopefully the lace doesn't bother you when wearing it under clothes? You might need a cup size up if the gore is sitting on your breast tissue. That would be painful. Or scoop and push outward instead of inward? I sometimes push the breast tissue away from the gore after I've done the swoop and scoop.
A plunge that works! I've never had a plunge work for my super soft, super close set boobs. Kinda pretty, too! Straps are really stretchy, so I might sew something on them, but we'll see. They work as is. Sizing up from a 65 band was right, the 70 is soooo comfortable!

This bra looks just like a black version of the PL Triumf, except the lace pattern is interspersed with shimmering gold threads. A circular, gold-edged glassy pendant, I believe a "gold eye" per the bra's name, adorns on the center gore beneath a subtle black bow. It's very lovely. The fit of this bra is true to size, and is consistent with the other PLs I own in size 30G. I absolutely love this cut... it seems to have more center projection than either the CHP or S, and by far the lowest gore, which produces a firm tack even on close-set breasts. It's the only bra I've ... ever encountered that creates such a phenomenally lifted, centered cleavage but still feels supportive and stable.
If you're narrow rooted, projected and in need of a bra that creates a spectacular décolletage for special events and date-night... this is it! The cleavage it provides would be absolutely beautiful beneath a wrap top or a low-cut shirt. And, unlike in wide-wired plunge bras which create cleavage by uncomfortably displacing your boobs out of super shallow cups, I am able to fill out the bottom of the bra, with the wire sitting and staying firmly in my IMF. The straps are fully adjustable, a feature I wish Ewa would include in all her padded bras!
My only quibble with this bra is that, being so projected, there's a slight bit of empty space at the apex, which prevents a rounded shape from happening and makes me very conscious of the size of my boobs when wearing. It is a minor detail, but means that I will only be able to wear it with certain clothing. I'm going to hold on to it for the time being as it's so beautiful, but will be listing it if I find I'm not able to get very much wear out of it for that reason.
*Pictures taken without pads.

My fit needs: projected, immediately projected, slightly narrow, fob with tall roots (functionally even), very close set, very center full.
It's narrow enough for me but I think the cups are a little too shallow for my immediate projection. But it's not shallow all over. Straps are wide set and the cups go into my armpits a little. I also sewed some ribbon on the inside to tighten the band but it is old.

Yeah, 4-part cups give a much more rounded shape. The S bra has 4-part cups at this size as well, so you can't really compare the shape of a 3-part 70J S bra with a 4-part 70K PL. PLs are also made of 3-parts at 70J and have a completely different shape than your 70K. It's like they're all completely different bras! It's kind of nice for those of us right on the spot where it changes (70J-70JJ) because we can *almost* wear all of them, so it gives more variety. :)
