    Didn't fit

The day has finally come! Just kidding, this actually arrived astonishingly quickly. I placed the order on March 2 after being denied a 60G because "bra will not be holding your breast properly in a place," whatever that means... It shipped on March 10 and I received it on March 14 after DHL had told me it would arrive on the 16th. I have never had an Ewa bra arrive this quickly, and while I shy away from saying that $40 shipping could ever be worth it, the service was great.

In the interest of providing as much detail as I can, I will begin with my comments about ... the bra's construction, then discuss the fit and conclude with pros and cons and whom I think this bra might work for. Bear with me as I write A NOVEL. The fabric is very similar to SF fabric but somewhat more shimmery and with a mesh panel on top that extends from the gore most of the way to the top outer edge of the cup. The cups aside from the mesh are the only part that uses the SF-like fabric, as the rest of the band and the wings are mesh. The straps are, as advertised, convertible, and there are 3 hooks rather than the usual 2. The straps are attached in the back, while the front ends are free, using little J-hooks to attach in your desired location. These J-hooks don't go on tightly enough for the straps not to slip out of them if you're not careful, particularly if you're wearing the straps normally and not crossed, which irritated me when I was first putting on the bra. If I was keeping this I would definitely want to take some pliers to the hooks to make them fit tighter, because they're in danger of slipping off even while just taking the bra off.

About me: I am very projected with even vertical fullness but have very short roots that make me functionally full on bottom in addition to being low set. My smaller side is slightly narrower and more projected than my bigger side. I have a bony sternum that makes high gores painful; I can tolerate Ewa Michalak CHPs/PLs but not SFs/BMs/any Comexim gore/even some UK plunge bras. I am splayed/wide set but somehow have enough tissue in the center for tall gores to sit on it slightly. The ABTF calculator gives me 26GG/H UK (I find that the H is an overestimation) and my best UK size in store is 28G; my best fits are Ewa Michalak 60G CHP bras or occasionally 65FF CHPs if I fasten them on tighter hooks.

To state the obvious, this bra is too small in the cup for me. As usual, lighting is an impediment to really seeing the fit issues, but you can see my quadboob in the closer-up images. The stretchy mesh may help, but I think I'm simply too big for it to do much. When I thoroughly scoop and swoop, the fabric on my bigger side folds on itself. I was pleasantly surprised not to have gapping on top, which can happen to me even in a bra that would otherwise fit fine in the cup due to my short roots. The cups are narrow enough for my bigger side and a little narrower than EM's padded cuts. Unfortunately, I experienced wrinkling at the bottom just like with the SF bra I used to own due to insufficient immediate projection. It's not crazy severe in this case, but definitely noticeable. I have a lot of immediate projection and am just on the border of being pendulous, but my CHP bras sit in my IMF.

I think that going up a cup size to a 65G would mitigate if not eradicate the quadboob, but I'm not sure whether the cups would still sit on breast tissue on either side of my sternum. I don't currently have a BM bra to compare it to because BMs are like my personal torture devices, but based on the BM I have owned in the past, I believe it runs slightly smaller in the cup and has slightly narrower wires. The band definitely runs big, stretching to almost an inch bigger than any other 65FF I own including the secondhand ones and the CH Cherry that I feel runs big in the band. I believe it is also slightly stretchier than other EM cuts. The band is noticeably loose on the loosest hook but would probably fit on the tightest or second tightest.

I really appreciated the low gore of this bra and think it would be great for others like me who suffer from the distressing inability to wear normal height gores. The convertible straps help with this brand's love for the widest set straps ever, but the cups still cut into my armpits slightly (not enough to be uncomfortable). The silhouette it gives me is not my favorite - a hint pointy - but I really prefer padded bras anyway so you might find it very flattering on you. It doesn't seem to be a "cleavage-y" bra like the pictures on the website suggest, but maybe it would be if the cups fit me better?

Unlike a lot of tall/full cup bras, I don't think you need to be FOT or have tall roots in order to not gap in this, but I'm not positive since it's too small in the cup. It does not have much immediate projection and might be less immediately projected than SFs, though I would say the overall fit is probably most similar to an SF. It seems like a great option for a plunge neckline but I suspect that the cups would be more full-coverage in the center in the correct size, so the plunge part of the neckline would have to be narrow. My pet peeve with this bra is the loose J-hooks, which can almost fall off if you touch them too forcefully. If you tighten the straps well, I don't think this would be an issue during wear, but it is definitely an issue while putting the bra on and taking it off.

Please feel free to comment with questions if you're curious about this cut and I will do my best to answer!

TLDR: Fabric like an SF with more mesh. Runs big/stretchy in band, small in cup despite stretch mesh. Possibly slightly narrower but less immediately projected than other EM cuts. Super low gore great. Loose J-hooks bad. Not ideal for all plunge necklines. Not sure about accommodating close set breasts because cups too small. Me sell bra now.

I feel the same way about this bra. In theory, it's an amazing concept. It may need a little bit more work shopping to be great. I've seen several photos of it looking great and giving great cleavage but it fits similarly on me as it does in your photos. I recently ordered another one a cup size up to see if it helps with immediate projection. I'm determined to find a decent fit in this bra since it's the closest I've gotten to a well fitting unlined plunge and I need a very low gore. I wish I could get it in a 60 band because it's so stretchy. The J-hooks I've experienced with Ewa have all been different. Mine stay put easily after a few wears but slipped the first time I was putting it on. I've tried the cappucinowy in a few sizes now and two sets of the attachable straps have been too loose and one set was closed when it arrived and I had to open it with pliers. I think it's minor differences in the metal since they're probably mass produced. I do prefer this strap style over the older removable straps that were much wider and affected the overall construction/depth of the bra. I hope she makes some adjustments over time and finds the right construction. Going back into the earliest Ewa Instagram posts you can see the first BM styles and the changes that have been made so I'm hopeful for some PLM adjustments!

    • 1

WildWolff thanks so much for your super helpful earlier review btw! I used to have a CHP Cappucci-nowy with the removable straps and they stayed on much better, so I guess it's just a manufacturing thing. I like the cross back capability too. I wish I wasn't doomed to never have cleavage in unlined bras...I mightttt try a 65G in that deep pink PLM she posted on Insta the other day but I'm not sure because the band is definitely too big for me. I guess I'm better off just dropping a bunch more money on a custom 60G CHP since my CHPs are all I wear.

    • 1

I wish she would sell more PLMs! I've emailed asking for other styles and she said more will come with no other detail. I like the stretch lace/mesh cups she makes more than the fabric styles of BM/SF so I'm hoping an Antonina or similar PLM will fit better. I have to pad my BM gores with two cotton balls and it's still uncomfortable. But other brands and styles don't fit the same as Ewa bras. When I was measuring at 65F/FF the gores on BM and SM bras were okay for me and I had great cleavage but they're too high for me in larger cups.

    • 3

I posted my last comment without realizing there were three PLM posts on Instagram! I had seen one of the pink sets on my timeline but not the other two posts. And one is the Antonina so now I'm excited to see when they go on the website for sale.

    • 1

Bummer it wasn’t a win due to size. I also had some loose hooks and had to close them with pliers. Now they work perfectly. Hopefully if you size up you can get a better fit.

WildWolff OMG! I saw the hot pink version also! I’m obsessively clicking her website to see when it’s available. Tho I’m not sure if it’s a regular bra or a swimsuit? I need to go look at it again. But I’m loving the black one, especially when my bad shoulder is acting up. Cross straps really help.

    • 2

Happy2BraShop I didn't think about swimsuits! Either way I will probably order lol the darker pink set reminds me of the BM Michelle which was on my list for a while but I didn't get it in time. So now I'm set on ordering early for this one! If you sign up for the email newsletters you'll get an email when new collections drop.

    • 1

Thank you for this detailed and helpful review! Sorry it didn’t work out for you. So weird that the band is stretchy. I’ve found 99% of her bras have too tight bands!

    • 2

WildWolff I think the hot pink might be just a bra! Even if you missed out on a bra, you can always email and ask if they have any fabric left to make one. That’s how I got my Ice Blue and Heaven in the next size up. I think when I place another order I’ll ask if they are considering making a bathing suit version to at least maybe drop the idea and hint at it lol. I know I’d buy one.

    • 1

Happy2BraShop as soon as I noticed there were only a couple sizes left in Michelle I emailed about it and they said they didn't have the fabric left. I wasn't upset about it because fit is hit or miss for me with the BM style. The lace/mesh cups aren't painful at the gore but the stiffer fabric cups are very painful. I haven't figured out why.

    • 1

WildWolff I’ve noticed a stiffer fit with both BM and SF’s that are made using the thicker fabric vs the usual lined lace cups. I partly wonder if the stiffer fabric restricts the wires and cups from flexing like the lined lace?

    • Happy2BraShop It may be that the lace fabric has a little more give to it. I've tried two BMs with the thicker fabric and they're so painful at the gore even if I pad it with cotton balls. With the lace cups the wires sit on tissue in the center a little but it's not uncomfortable and I can wear them for a full day. It seems to be specific to Ewa wires, I can wear Gorsenia with lace or fabric cups and the wires sit on tissue but are not painful until I wear it for over 10 hours.

    • Thanks for the thorough review, moonshineforest ! Have you considered sending Ewa Michalak your quadboob photos? Maybe that would convince them you know your size, for future orders.

How different are the mesh and main body fabric in stiffness? I have a problem with half-padded, half unpadded bra cups. The line where the two fabrics meet always make me look like I have four breasts. I realize Plm Le Noir isn't padded, but your pictures make me think the line where the two fabrics meet might have a similar effect on me.

    • 1

learningaboutbras so I think the reason she denied me a 60G probably had more to do with the construction of the bra than her not believing my size, since I've ordered a bunch of 60G bras before with no issue. With regard to the cups, the mesh is definitely stretchier than the opaque fabric but I don't think that the cup cuts in where the two meet like, for example, Cleo Marcie always did on me. It's certainly possible that it could though.

    • Only the cup volume is the same in 60G and 65FF, so it would still have quadded in the 60G. It’s a neat style for sure, but I think it’s not for everyone.

    • Calluna yep, that’s why I said I would go up a cup size to a 65G. I doubt I’ll bother though. I’m thinking about a custom CHP Kleks to spend my money on instead.

    • moonshineforest , thanks for the analogy! Cleo Marcie did work on me in terms of no quadboob looking indentation. I loved the shape it gave me. I had to leave it behind once I realized regular height gores were resting on breast tissue. I may try Plm Le Noir then.

My First Ewa Michalak, this may be the unicorn for me!?
About me; I think I am FOB, with short roots, narrow to average width roots, centre full, close set, pendulous, somewhat narrow shoulders, slightly flared ribs, and pudgy tummy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

Guys, I think this is the one!! Now I understand the hype around EM bras. Just wow, this fits perfectly so far. No gapping or digging. Straps are a good length with not too much or too little stretch. Slight wrinkling at the bottom of the cups but I don’t think it’s significant enough to be an issue. Perfect gore, it ... came overlapped. I was worried the straps would be too wide for me but they’re actually perfect. The band is snug but comfortable. I like the shape it gives me, not pointy, somewhat rounded and natural. This is the first unlined bra that actually gives me some cleavage!

I bought this from a local store online that just restocked EMs (they’re usually sold out). It was pricey but it would have cost me more to buy from EM direct. I decided to get the bright fuchsia because the only other ones were dark colours and I was worried they would be too tight. Also, I’m tired of boring colours haha. It is lace lined with a light knit fabric, the tops of the cups have stretch lace which is great. If it didn’t have the stretch lace, I’m sure it would have cut in a bit. The bows are cute but seem like they would show up under a shirt a bit, not sure.

So, everyone was right. Ewa Michalak is a bra magician!

UPDATE: band was too tight but I wore an extender which worked well and eventually the band stretched enough, yay

I am also center full, close set, short roots and Ewa BMs are my best fit. I overlapped my wires and took the gore in a tiny bit because they were still sitting in breast tissue. My only complaint is the straps in my best fitting size are too wide to wear under my sleeveless dresses. In an 80E my boobs look amazing and they are super comfy. I tried 80DD and it still fits (as long as I’m not on my period) but it ever so slightly compressed the top of my breasts, but the strap width is soooo much better. My next best fit is a Comexim plunge with the wires overlapped at the gore and straps moved in one cm. It’s not quite as comfy but the cleavage is insane!

    • confused thank you for the info! This one would not fit me during my period I’m sure. The band is a bit snug for my liking but I’m hoping it will stretch out a bit. I’ve been trying to decide what to try next from EM and was eyeing some of the plunges and S cuts. EM gonna drain my Bank account LOL

    • 1

The Plunges were weird on me, the A
apex was set so wide I didn’t like it. The SF I couldn’t get as good a fit either they all hurt. I never tried an S though!

My first BM bra and it's amazing! I think this bra is really made for my breast shape (tall roots, deep projected narrow very center full breasts) and the 70K seems like the best size for me in this bra. The band fits like it should, quite snug but I can fit 2 fingers under it. I think it is true to size for a 70 band, stretching to 82cm (32inch). The wires are narrow and I don't have empty fabric on the sides for once. The cups are very deep and projected and offer room where I need it. The gore tacks and lies flat. So it's ... great to notice that if a bra like BM Antonina that offers enough center room and projection the gore will tack.

What I noticed compared to my 70K - Ewa Michalak » Sf Gładzioch Beż (849) that the cups are taller and there is more coverage. This is a good thing for me since I have breast tissue that comes of very high and many bras cut in. I also noticed that the gore and the wings are a little bit taller than on my SF. This makes it more supportive for me. The shoulder straps are wide but don't adjust long enough. It's just okay when I have them on the loosest possible setting, but they should not be any shorter!

The shape of this bra is very front and center and projected. I really like this because in my opinion it looks better on my body shape than if my boobs are east - west and wide looking in a bra. From the side my boobs look a bit pointy in profile... almost a bit like a torpedo boob (just a bit) and I'm not sure if I am 100% comfortable with it. I used to hate this look when I was at a bigger bra size because it made my boobs even bigger looking but now I'm okay with it.

The material on this bra is amazing. Online pictures make the lace appear quite bulky and it looks like it would be itchy, but it isn't. The cream white lace on top is super soft and thin (not flimsy) and stretchy. The lower cup is lined with a non stretchy beige colored mesh and the upper cup is lined with a stretchy beige lace. So the upper section of the bra does fully stretch and adjust to the shape of the breast. Also there is no elastic band at the edge of the cups so no cutting in. Yay!

I only wore the bra for a short time but it felt very supportive. I did not have to adjust my boobs nor did I feel any pain from the bra so far. I will update here once I have worn it a few times.

    • 7 hours, that is an excellent report!

    • 3

Yes it is. The bra is a win! I think that the uplift declines a bit over the day… Overall the shape is more natural in the bra. It still feels supportive. I got some red marks from the straps, but no shoulder pain so far. I think that the wires and band do most of the work like they should… but with boobs my size there will be always significant weight left on shoulder straps too. I'm just glad there was no pain yet!

    65GG

    Fits

When I saw this on Ewa Michalak’s Instagram, I NEEDED it! I’m always looking for a cross-back option, even going as far as turning an EM nursing bra into a functioning cross-back. I was so excited to see WildWolff do a review on this and snatched one up ASAP.

The cup of this bra is based on the typical SF cut. The lower fabric of the cup is a more ridged black fabric made of three lower sections and an upper stretch mesh. The top portion of the cup is a very strong black power mesh folded over on itself. Comparing to a few ... SF’s I’ve had, this mesh is stronger. Because this bra is new the mesh has not relaxed so you can see in one of the angle shots it flattens out my boob slightly. This doesn’t take away from the overall fit, especially under clothes. This should go away once the bra warms up and relaxes with wear. The band, as mentioned by WildWolff, is on the stretchy side but it’s comfortable. It consists of two layers of black power mesh, and is edged much like a bathing suit vs the typical band elastic you find on most bras. The back clasp is a 3x4 and I love it! My personal preference has always been 3 hooks and was sad when she stopped making the size 65G with it instead opting for 2. The wires do measure wider, but only because they are way lower at the gore so you’re measuring more on an angle. The black elastic straps have a slight sheen of them with black hardware. There straps attach at the front using a ring and hook. There is a small black satin bow on the center gore with a diamond pendant. Overall I’m very pleased.

It looks amazing! Mine loosened up and felt more comfortable/broken in after a few wears. It's my most comfortable bra currently. I've been wanting to order another one and I'm hoping for an Antonina PLM on the website soon. The 65GG looks great for depth!

    • 3

WildWolff I was surprised by how comfortable it was right out of the bag. I almost want to say it’s Comexim comfortable. Good to know it relaxes. While I’m not mad at the slightly retro look it casts at the moment, it’s my total jam and much prefer a rounder look lol. Maybe try emailing her and see if they can make one now. I ordered my BM Heaven before it was really out there. I’d definitely love to see her make this bra in more color ways.

    • 4

Happy2BraShop I sent an Instagram message asking about it and got a wink face as a reply lol maybe I will email and try to get one. She's posted a couple of colors of PLM on Instagram and some other new bras recently, so maybe there will be a fun spring line of styles/colors coming soon!

    • 2

You got it! It looks amazing on you! I'm so excited to get a PLM, would you say it gives you the full "PL effect"? What size do you think I should go for if 60G fits well in BM? I got ewa to agree to make me a PLM Antonina!

    • 2

marilynne I definitely feel it gives me good cleavage, especially when straps are crossed. Size wise, Hmmm well for me, right now, I’m kind of in between a 65G and 65GG in BM (based on the two I own both sizes in). I’m probably leaning a wee more GG. I can still wear my 65G’s but if I gain anymore weight they are done for lol.
Would you say 60G BM is a perfect fit with a little wiggle room in the cup? I’d go with your size.
Right at this moment PL GG is fitting me pretty good without the cookies. My new SM is dead on in a GG. Hope that helps.

    • 2

So I'm in the same boat, 60G is a bit small in the cup but 60GG is a bit big in the cup (neither shows up as gapping/quadding because BM is an amaxing cut but I can feel it). I'm leaning towards a 65FF because the antonina lace seems to be extra stretchy. Right now 65G PL and SM fit me pretty well.

    • 1

marilynne I wish I had my new 65GG SF’s to add to the comparison. I can tell you a 65G SF does not fit me at all! The apex of the cup is way too short. So my nipple ends up above the horizontal line in the middle of the cup. Which I suspect the new 65GG will fit me great considering the apex horizontal line of my 65GG BM’s is slightly big. If that makes any sense lol.
I’m just going to throw this out there. It would be amazing if EM offered a try on box containing a few sizes of each cut to “try before you buy”. That would make this so much easier lol.

    • 1

Yay, glad it worked out for you! And thanks for the detailed review. So far it seems that this bra is a winner for everyone. I may break down and buy one lol

    Didn't fit

Apparently I'd never written a review for this bra - but since it's one of my favorites, it totally deserves one!

This bra feels almost made to measure.
It fits super well and is so comfortable overall.

The wings are really low for an EM bra and for this size, which is *great* for me personally, but might be an issue for people that prefer more containment on the side.

I also love how it has the double V-attachment for the shoulder straps in the back, very similar to my Ewa Michalak Ja Wiem bra.
This feature, combined with the decorative straps in the front, helps ... 'center' the strap placement a little more - which is great as I always suffer from wide-set straps.

My most common size in Ewa Michalak is 70GG and for this bra, that size is definitely spot on. So I do feel it runs true to size.

Projection is good, quite different than my @Ja Wiem, that has more of an 'upward slope' in it's projection and less immediate projection like this Sieci.

The briefs (in my standard Ewa size 40) are comfy and cute as well, even though the added strap make them sliiightly less of a comfort choice, more of a 'making a point of wearing the full set' kind of style.

Quality is great - as I've had this set for 3+ years, wearing and washing it often, and honestly it seems almost as new!

Edit / PS: forgot to mention there's a removable criss-cross strap situation that connects to the bra + briefs, which is why there's loops on the bra band; but to be honest I'm too lazy to ever really add that haha.

that's great to hear about the quality as I am pretty new to EM, so I'm not sure how long they will all last!

    • 3

WOW! Phenomenal fit! Looks perfect on you. It’s really cool and strap-tastic.

    • 2

      What a beautiful bra!

    • 4

Stunning on you! And wow, three years? That makes her bras more than worth the prices!

    • 2

Yeah: turns out I ordered it in March 2018!

I do have a pretty large rotation, but think I've definitely worn it twice a month since then? And washed it every other month or so?

    • 2

Her bras do seem very well made. I hope mine last that long too!

    • 3

Funny I suddenly was confused - I have an SM that has straps to go w the panties too - but its not that one! I havent worn it in a while because I got the 75K - Ewa Michalak » Smn Buduar , which has a weird lace flap with its own separate straps, making it hard to put on or wear as a 'normal' bra.

Also - for people who havent tried ewas - my first FB from her was not the current model standards and I got it new, and I still wear it 3 years later. The next two FBs I bought are almost 3 years old and are in nearly perfect condition.

The FBs are even more sturdy (and expensive) but yes - the old bit about - buy bras tight enough so they still fit when they stretch out? Not Ewas. Some of them are stretchy and some just arent. I have bras which will need extenders to the day they die because the bands were tight and just dont stretch out.

    • 4

I think the SMNs are more projected at the wire too. They feel deeper, and they still give a nice round shape, but they're not as compact as the SM. I wasn't sure if I would like the SMN when she first released it, but I really love it, especially now that she has some in a more cutesy and colorful aesthetic.

I don't have this specific set, I'm not a strappy kind of woman, and I always cut them off, but I think it looks amazing on you! The beige panels are a good match for you, looks like more woman and less bra.

As for quality, in my experience - Ewas last forever. I have a lot of bras, but I do wear them all. I have a couple that are pushing like 8 years old now and they're still going strong. They really don't stretch out much with proper care. The cups stay supportive, too; if anything breaks down, it's typically the straps. I've seen a few wire snaps on her Facebook too, so I suppose that happens, but for the life of me, I can't say how! Ewa is an engineer, and that comes through in her bra construction. Some of my lace bras are pilly, but that's truly the only wear they really show.

    • 3

I can definitely attest to the quality and longevity of Ewa Bras. I still have some from 2015 that look new and preform just the same as the day I got them. The only bra that pooped out on me was my beloved Wróżka. And it’s just the backband fabric in the back. I’m planning to replace the band fabric and breath new life into it. Other than that, the cups, straps, and hardware are all going strong. Same with her panties. They last forever!

    • 3

dbmamaz jlcl119 Happy2BraShop I partly agree, does differ per bra though!

Funnily my quality experience with Ewa is reverse from Comexims:

For Ewa, I feel the mesh bras last forever and keep their shape / firmness SO well.

However the 'lined' poly material bras, I've tried; S Turkusowe Kwiaty and PL Kicia Szalowa, did really get worn out over time!

Their band stretched wayyyy out and the outer cup material became looser than the inner cup lining..

Lace BM's are in-between for me quality wise, some pilling and discoloration with washing but the overall fit says okay.

For Comexims I have the opposite experience: the poly / silky lined bras like Andromeda hold up awesomely, while the meshy bras like Tropical Garden or Yoko loose their shape, start buckling and the band wears out quickly.

So for me for longevity, in Comexim I prefer to buy lined/poly/opaque material bras, while for Ewa I'd much rather go for mesh.

      Interesting, right?

I so wish I could wear a bra like this because I love the sheer look, and the shape you have in it is incredible! But I fear the gore is way too high and my boobs actually hate unlined bras, just outright refuse to comply. Lol

Which kinda sucks as everyone here seems to want people to put on an unlined style to help assess fit needs. I only have the one unlined (in a cup size that no longer fits me, its a 32FF and my 32GG bras are way too small right now) and it was because I liked the fabric so much and it was made to the same pattern as the lined bras I'd been wearing so I thought it would work just as well. But the fit/shape was simply not good. Just allowed my tube-boobs to stay mostly as tubes which wasn't very flattering. Plus the cup wrinkled where I couldn't fill it (near the straps) which is at least hidden in lined cups.

But it was such a pretty red bra so I kept it for Valentine's.

    • back on the Ewa quality train - i do have a few hooks/eyes coming loose. mostly on the one first FB i bought which I think was before the model was finalized, and i forget which other one

    Didn't fit

Very first impression - this could be a great thing!

Fit - I wear a 32 band in Panache but a 75 band in EM because sometimes they run tight - yeah, this runs tight. I can fasten this on the loosest hook, whereas most 75s I tighten right away on the 2nd hook, and soon on the 3rd. Definitely consider going up a band for this.

This is supposed to be a roomier cup - but not so much, for me? Well, my BMs occasionally quad a little on my bigger side, too - but this was a small day. I'm hoping it ... will stretch out a little - and I failed to try it with a shirt to see if the quadding is visible - but definitely there was a small amount of quadding on my bigger side.

Note - some pics are taken in the mirror and some are not, but the red tag is on my larger side in all pictures.

I did loosen the straps a bit to accommodate my slight quadding. Now, i'm short (5'2, almost) but my breasts are low-set . . these straps are almost all the way let out. Could be an issue for tall people who dont have very high-set breasts.

Fabric, as other reviewers mention, is definitely thicker and stiffer than, for example, the fabric in my BMs (which are all single-layer BMs). It feels coarser than my beloved Floris, possibly thicker. I do like a firm fabric. The stretchy fabric on the top portion of the cup is very light and sheer feeling - almost like tights? The cloth is doubled over so the top of the cup is basically a fold, which obviously can cut in a bit.

The buttons kinda freak me out - i want to unbutton them lol. But I suppose they are interesting!

Definitely high and round. Really curious how this will hold up over time.

Thanks for the back photo! Those straps don't look too wide set at all which is what I'm always afraid of. They might actually work out really well for me-the plunge cut usually doesn't work for me because of how far apart they are on the back. I keep meaning to give this a try but then I see something shiny or brightly coloured. It looks great on you besides the little quad and I hope that goes away once you break the bra in.

    • 1

I havent tried any plunges - i'm so soft I can fall out of anything w less than 4 inches of gore. and i dont seem to have trouble w wide-set straps. I must have wide shoulder compared to the circumference of my underbust.

    • 3

You review was great :) I think that the EM website suggested that it was compared in cup to a bm and looking at the measurements it looks to be so but your not the first review to say it runs a bit smaller in the cup compared to the bm . I am worried though about the one I ordered in a 70 hopefully I can breathe ,we will see.

You pointed out details like the buttons I didn't notice before and the folded over stretch tulle upper cup . The buttons at least are easy to remove if they end up driving you nuts lol .

Looks really good on you and you don't get that wrinkly strap thing ..but the main thing will be how does it feel after a few wearings . I can never tell if I like a bra until I wear it a while . I hope it works for you it looks like a great everyday bra that you should be able to put on and then not think about all day (my dream bra i.e. not sure it exists) sure does match your skin tone well too.

    • 1

      Thanks Ivp!

I tell you, i still think that picture from underneath looks creepy. It seems really weird - like, it looks like my breasts connect above the gore? idk, something about that freaks me out. it just looks wrong

    • 3

Ok, after my first all-day wear - well, I got sweaty within an hour of putting it on - summer. So the band was a little uncomfortable, but not bad, really.

The bra is slightly too small for me, but reverse-swooping does stop the quadding.

I feel like this elastic material really does a good job of keeping the girls IN the bra, like they cant climb out because they've got a lid on them. The shirt I wore wouldnt show quad, so its hard to know about that.

Also, because the girls are not able to climb, it is not a cleavage bra at all. I mean, its not super-high coverage- i wore my lowest cut top and you could only see the bra if you looked straight down - but my boobs stayed somewhat separate from each other - which is GOOD for me. It means less sweat, less rash. My boobs basically touch, so keeping them apart is normally what I want a bra to do.

Still hoping it stretches out a bit more, or, you know, i lose some weight lol

It's a Gazeta! It's a Gazeta! It's a Gazeta! I'm a lucky girl indeed! Band runs small, cups run either taller or about a half size-ish big. Overall I find it comfortable, others may disagree. Immediate projection is good, the wires are a little wider than other CH/Ps, and I don't care! It's a Gazeta!

I'm so envious of your bradrobe! I wonder if all Gazetas run a fraction large, or just this particular one? Are EM cups usually TTS/a little on the small side?

    • 2

slowb I've had two Gazetas and they were both large in the cup and small in the band.

    • 1

      So cute!!! Lovely on you!!

    • 1

What a lovely bra. Looks wonderful on you and looks to fit you perfectly.

    • 1

slowb I've tried 5 EM half cups. The Lawenda 65F runs big in both band and cup. The Stalowka 65F ran small in band and TTS cups. Gazeta runs small band, big-ish cups. My CH Bizkopty 65FF ran small in the cups, the band was altered. The CH Cherry 65FF ran enormous everywhere. I think it's kinda hit and miss unfortunately.

    Fits

This review is for the Ewa Michalak SF Czarny Gładzioch in RED (which makes it a Czerwony Gładzioch) in 80F EU (36F UK). My ABTF size is 32FF/34F UK. Ewa doesn't offer this bra on the website but I asked if they could make the Czarny Gładzioch in Red and they agreed for only $10 more.

    Band:
    * Very tight. This fits like a 32 or 34, which I knew. Has 3 hooks by 4 columns.

    Wires:
    * Very narrow at 5.5 inches wide in the 80F.

    Cups:
    * 4 part cup, with 2 vertical seams. The bottom is standard knitwear. The top is elastic tulle.

    Straps:
    * The straps are fully adjustable and nice and ... stretchy.

    Fabric:
    * The fabric is very comfortable, no chafing at all.

    Hardware:
    * The hardware is matching red and it has clear button details.

About me: very close set (breasts touch), very narrow roots, very projected at the wire, full on bottom, short roots, soft tissue, significant rib flares, narrow shoulders.

    FIT

    * The band is smaller than you'd think.
    * The wires are wonderfully narrow at this size.
    * The gore tacks well for me.
    * The cups are great for my short roots, full on bottom. I do have some wrinkling at the wire, but I can't blame it on projection since this is a Ewa. I do have "flatt-ish" roots so I think the wire is just too much of a capital U shape for me. Again, I knew this before I ordered it.
    * The straps are plenty long enough and fully adjustable. Like all the Ewa's I've tried they do cut into my ToS much more than I'd like.
    * The sides are a comfortable height for me.

    OVERALL IMPRESSION
    * I love it! Classic.

Wow, I love this on you! It matches your skin tone really well and the fit is great!

This bra looks AMAZING! I get wrinkles in SF too, I wonder if the fabric just wrinkles easily?

margesimpson , Happy2BraShop , Wilderness1 - thank you! About her bands, NO idea. It's wild.
pretty_promise - that's interesting! I hadn't expected it since it's a stiffer bottom, but you might be right!

Forewarning: This review includes descriptions and pictures of erotic wear on my body, including explicit descriptions of female anatomy and theoretical sexual activities.

Onto the sexy stuff! This review is going to be a 3-in-1 overview of the SMN Fetysz Czarny (I'm just gonna shorten it to "Fetysz" in this review), the Why not? briefs, and the Why not? harness. Once again, these are more my first impressions than an actual review. PS: You can see all the photos including those of the briefs and the harness if you go to the full review page, rather than just expanding the adventure on the front page.

Let's start with the ... bra! I have already owned the closely related SM Ty Wiesz for a while now, and gotten a handful of use out of it, so I'll be comparing the Fetysz to that mostly. First of all, I love the black mesh, and I love the black straps over the cups, which have a super unique placement, and are easy to adjust (check out Ewa's video on this bra's page on her website on how to adjust it!). The only thing I need to be wary of when adjusting them is to not tighten them too much, otherwise it creates creases and bulges in my breasts that could potentially translate through clothing. The adjusters also show a bit through clothing, but it's not too noticeable under thicker sweaters or layers. Compared to the Ty Wiesz, I love that this bra has thinner shoulder straps, but maintains the V strap attachment in the back. I think the thinner shoulder straps blend in better with the overall aesthetic for this bra. This band is really comfortable. It started out pretty short and firm, but after just a couple hours of wear it has relaxed. I am most impressed, however, by the overall projection of these cups! Take a look at my photos, especially the angle and side pics. I am shocked at how much projection this bra has, both at the apex of the cups, and at the wire. So it's definitely a more natural shape that it gives me, rather than compressing me slightly and giving me a very round appearance like a lot of my BM's do and like my Ty Wiesz does. I've been wearing this bra today for a solid 5 hours or so, and before writing this, I took my shirt off to check the fit after several hours of wear, and there were no wrinkles or folding near the wire. Outstanding! Take note if you're someone who needs this level of projection. Overall, very happy with this bra.

Next, we have the Why not? briefs and harness. My first thought is, strappy sexy delightfulness! I got this set in size 36, but I'm sure you can special order it smaller or larger than the listed sizes if needed. I have a very ample butt, and I find that a lot of underwear cuts into my buttocks, thus creating unsightly panty lines under clothing. However, seeing as there are so many straps on this set, plus a distinct lack of any fabric covering my buttocks, I figured I'd go for the smallest size to cater to my small waist (I have about a 25" waist, vs. 38" (ish) hips at my widest point). The topmost horizontal straps on the briefs, that sit just at the top of my hipbone, are juuuust short enough for me if I tighten them as far as they will go. However, it would be a super easy alteration to shorten these straps further if I want to in the future. The only part that is not adjustable is the brief part itself. This fits me well. Now, I know what you're all wanting to know. "Where does the crotch fabric end??" For me, it covers most of my vulva, and stops just short of my vaginal opening. So my clitoris is covered, but I could theoretically have vaginal intercourse (and also pee!) without having to move these briefs. I haven't tried either of these activities yet, but I'm pretty confident that it can be done. As you'll see in my pictures, the briefs came with a size tag attached to the end of the crotch fabric on the inside. I thought that was pretty unsightly, and maybe also uncomfortable to keep it attached while wearing these briefs, so I cut the thread that was attaching it and removed it. I did the same for the size tag that was attached to the back of the harness. Speaking of which, not much to say except that everything's adjustable once again (I looked up pics on Ewa's website to figure out how to attach it to the briefs), and yay straps! Even if this set doesn't get a ton of use like my day-to-day underwear, it was only like $35 CAD during the Black Friday sale, so totally worth it IMO.

Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase, and look very much forward to getting more use out of it!

excellent review! Bra looks great. I did try it before but didn't really like it. I love the fetysz panties tho and im sure i'm going to love my Why Not? one even more :D they should arrive this week - cannot wait!

    • 2

Are the straps on the bra detachable?

    • 1

      Thanks for the thorough review!

    • 2

Thanks for the review - I only bought the panties but its good to know what to expect! I bought a different SM that was on sale in a 75K - the one with the triangles of black lace over the bottom. Cant wait until they arrive! Hopefully the panties work on my more apple-shaped body, too. and i'll be ready to remove that awkward tag lol

    • brasaremean No, the straps are not detachable.

    • 2

Thanks sherrach898 I've ordered this bra three times so far and keep changing my mind and changing my order, driving Kaska crazy! Mostly I was afraid it wouldn't be deep enough in the cup (and there was so little information on this bra) but your review sounds promising!

    Used to fit

As promised to about ten people, I have added as much detail as I can in measurements and photos with captions for this bra. I usually wait to see other reviews for a new style, but as soon as I saw pictures of this on Ewa's Instagram, I knew I would get it as soon as I could. It took about 11 days from ordering to get to me. I basically only wear the padded PLs these days as I need an extremely low gore. I am center full, functionally full on bottom, with soft tissue, lots of squish, narrow roots, and symmastia. Gores higher than 2.2" sit ... on tissue, and higher than 2.4" and I'm in a lot of pain. I love the SF and BM styles as they're more comfortable and fit better than the padded styles, but they aren't a technical fit and I need to pad them with cotton balls to only have mild discomfort. I did not think an unlined PL that fit me was possible! This isn't my holy grail, ultimate, best bra of all time, but considering my needs and how precise the bra construction is, it is close. The cup width measurement is wide, but the cup itself is not wide. The wire lines up with most of my other EM bras but the extremely low gore makes the measurement wider. If the gore was slightly taller, the cup width measurement would reflect the narrow wires we know and love from Ewa. I love that it has three hooks, although the band is a little stretchy and not like the firm EM bands I'm used to. The cup separation is about as far as I can handle, any more and it would not fit. I went with Ewa's suggestion of ordering the same size as I would for BM and SF and it fits perfectly on my smaller side. The fabric is stretchy and accommodates shape well, so it stretches to fit the larger side just barely. If I order another, which I probably will order several, I will size up in the cup. The strap attachments are similar to the removeable straps on my PL Capuucinowy, just larger. The straps came apart when I was adjusting them so I was worried they would come off while wearing, but they feel very secure when on. It lays flat and doesn't show under tight t-shirts. The wing and edge of the cup are a little high and I'm short so it comes up higher than a BM or SF would under the arm. The cup fabric is rigid and sewn similar to the SF style, so there are some wrinkles in the cup no matter how much I adjust. If I could tighten the straps a little more, they almost go away, but I can't tighten anymore because of the cup/wing height. The straps don't fall off my shoulders so it's not a fit issue at all, just the wrinkles. Crossing the straps in the back is comfortable and doesn't get rid of all the wrinkles in the cup. This is the most comfortable bra I own, although I could say that about other EM unlined styles if the gore didn't cause so much pain for me. I'm very impressed with the construction and I can't wait for more colors to come out so I can order them all!

Yay, I'm so glad that you were able to make this unlined EM comfortable!

    • 3

carrythedollhouse I was scared to get my hopes up but it lived up to the expectations!

    • 2

yea! I can't wait to try this bra!
It looks really pretty in black; such projection for a bra with such a low gore, you know.

Normally I would think that such a low gore would have a shallow shape; looks like more Ewa sorcery, lol.

    • 2

edit: WildWolff , I so appreciate you buying this bra, tbh. I haven't seen any other reviews!

    • 4

BraOdyssey it does run a little more shallow than the BM, SF, and SMs I've tried, but I'm amazed by the projection and construction! Every single detail in this bra works together to make it possible. I looked at it for ten minutes before trying it on to figure out how it could possibly work. Even my Engineer husband who knows of my bra woes and symmastia problems said "it doesn't seem possible" when I told him there was a narrow unlined super low plunge in my size. I didn't think it could be done so it's literally a bra dream come true for me.

    • 3

BraOdyssey I usually wait for bra reviews but as soon as I saw this on the website I decided it was worth being one of the first to try since I've been waiting for so long for something like this. I'm also looking at the SF Blackjack now, the construction of that one looks so unique too.

    • 4

Wow ty for taking the time to write such a detailed review! I wish they made this style when I was first getting into abtf but at least it exists now haha. It looks great!

    • 1

Thank you for the detailed review, very helpful. Glad it worked out for you!

    • 2

How comparable to the PL is it? Glad it worked so well for you!

    • 2

AllyBra it's very similar to the SF style from Ewa. Compared to the PL: the band is a little stretchier because of the material. The band measurement unstretched and stretched is similar, but the material on PLM is a few layers of mesh and the finishing is also stretchy so it may stretch out quicker. I would say the projection is similar to PL, the PLM has a little more because it's unlined, but it's a little more shallow than the SF or BM because of the low gore and the cut/seams of the cup fabric. Cup width is the same, gore is even lower then the PL somehow, more cup separation, wing is a little higher.

    • 2

confusedandshort and margesimpson you're welcome! I'm also glad it worked out! I think there may be a red one in the future, it looks like Ewa is wearing it in her latest Instagram post. I'm telling myself that I should wait to see if there are more colors before I buy more, it's an excellent comfort/lounge bra for me since I need support all the time.

    • 3

This looks amazing on you! I’ve been wanting one but husband cut me off from bra buying for a while, booooo.
I’m unsure what size I should go for. My SM’s are wee small now, but my BM’s are fitting fine in sizes 65G. Not sure if I should size up to a GG? SF for me runs short at the apex in G cup, and this looks like the SF construction? What are your thoughts?

    • 2

Happy2BraShop I'm still amazed that my husband hasn't had a problem with the number of bras that come in the mail lol Let me know if you're looking to sell any of those SMs that are too small! I'm currently measuring at a 30G UK and when I order another one I plan to get a 65GG (I'm hoping they put Antonina PLM on the website soon!). It fits smaller and more shallow than a 65G BM and SF. I asked Ewa and she said she wears the same size in PLM as she does BM and SF. It's not a bad fit in 65G, but I'm hoping 65GG helps a little with depth. The construction is very similar to SF. I like the new hook and ring strap more than the removable straps that she used to use which affected fit and projection more.

WildWolff Thanks for the size tip! Think I’ll shoot for 65GG then. I’ve had it sitting in my cart for a few days trying to decide. :)
I need to clean out my bra drawer and assess some fits. :)

    • 1

I'm desperate to try this but kinda struggling to figure out which size(s) to try since everything is in cm and my body seems to measure exact inches all the time, but really weird fractions of a cm and dyscalculia makes the bigger numbers harder to get right too. That and the PL ones I tried a while back didn't fit well at all and I've gained weight since then. Currently not really wearing a bra, but the ones I got last August from Bravissimo fitted best in the 32HH and 30J Niya style (was kinda between the two, wore both with extenders because I have a small front frame and new from past try ons that Bravissimo bras don't work in a 34 band for me). The Satine which had previously been my go to was just too tall and wide in those sizes. And weirdly, whilst the Niya had less projection, the more vertical seaming allowed it to mould to my shape more, forcing it to have a bit more projection.

The bras I got from Ewa were all the PL Zlote Oko at a time when I measured 30" for my underbust and 38" overbust and was just sizing out of the Bravissimo Satine in a 32FF (finding the G too wide, tall etc, yet still not projected enough). At the advice of people here I tried the 70FF, 70G, 70GG, and because I felt I was probably towards the higher end and in between bands, the 75G. The 70 bands were too tight. The 75 was fine. But the best fitting cup/wire width and gore height was the 70FF, it just didn't have enough projection at all. The other sizes were all too wide and tall in every way, and all had issues with the straps not actually being able to sit on my shoulders. An issue I hadn't had since I was a 32C and tried to wear balcony bra styles (did not work, I needed plunges even then).

So I know this bra likely will still have *some* fit issues, but I'm struggling to figure out what to try. Currently measure 34" for underbust and 46" for bust. I need to update my profile here when I can manage the numbers to do the more nuanced measurements.

    • 1

AlexaFaie you can change to inches at the bottom of the page. I have some of the same issues where a 65FF is the best for me with cup width and gore height, but I need more cup volume. In terms of the band, it's not like the PL band. It's two layers of power mesh and has more stretch to it. I currently measure at 30G UK and wear 65G in the unlined Ewa models and 65GG in the padded styles. Ewa recommended ordering the same size I wear in unlined styles. The 65G fits okay, a little shallow. I plan to order another in 65GG soon. I would recommend a smaller band if you're in between, because the cup fabric does come up into the armpit area and so I would assume the smaller band may have a shorter cup and a more narrow cup. I hope this helps!

    • 1

I couldn't find the bit to change to inches on Ewa's site (that's where I was looking for sizing for this style since there isn't enough info in anything close to my size on here yet). I have here set in inches already. Her calculator suggests an 80GG which confuses me because in the table that says it will fit a bust of 114cm. An 80H would fit a 116.5cm bust and my bust (46") google tells me is 116.84. So I'm confused why it wouldn't suggest the 80H. I don't know if it matters, but my bust, whilst somewhat malleable, measures the same standing, leaning, and lying down. Like it shifts around, but the measurement doesn't alter. Only difference is when I lean forwards it lets it sit higher on my chest so the circumference doesn't include my broader lower rib, but does include my skin stretching a bit with the weight of my boobs. In which case I'm guessing trying a 80H and something on the 75 band. Size chart for 75HH says 114cm, 75J is 116.5cm. So that is a little confusing. Do I do a straight sister size or go with the one which actually mentions the number I measure at? I'm thinking that I might at least be able to narrow the gore if needed to bring the cups closer & further away from my armpits and this style looks super easy to alter. I'll leave myself a note for tomorrow to go try the 75GG on back to front & upside down to see if the band will work or not. Though I'll probably get two sizes just in case. I've been avoiding trying 34 bands at Bravissimo simply because I never got the proper support when I was smaller (I did have some 34B and 34Cs because they were too pretty not to have them, but mostly wore 32Cs for years until my breasts decided to get bigger at university and then again on meds). But I do measure 34" now, so might be worth trying that larger band just in case. Even though I know the cup separation will increase because bra manufacturers are evil or something (I joke).

    • 1

AlexaFaie sorry I didn't know you meant on Ewa's site, I was talking about bratabase. From what I've read, the calculator on her site is off for most people. I can get it to tell me the size I know fits if I tweak the centimeters a little bit. I recommend getting the 34 band if that's what you're measuring at right now, especially because it's a stretchy band. I would get this in 60H if it was easy to get a 60 band from Ewa. The cup separation on this bra is so far! Any farther and it wouldn't work for me. Another option you could consider is the SF blackjack. I haven't tried it but it's on my list.

    • 2

The SF blackjack looks interesting, but I'm not sure that would fit well as it looks to be more of a full cup style which I've never been able to wear, plus it looks more east-west in terms of volume. My main issue is that bras often have all the volume in the sides. My nipple point is always an inch or two closer to the middle than its expected to be. So if I force myself into that sort of style it really tugs on that bit in the middle where the breast roots join one another. You know the painful spot? I never understand how anyone can cope with the pain of having their breasts pulled apart like that.

    • 2

Does make me think though, is there an average for where on ones torso the nipple point is expected to be? I've seen before people suggesting that the straps are meant to sort of line up with the area of greatest volume (where the nipple would sit) but my nipples are in line with the sides of my neck. Nipple to nipple is 4". Is there anywhere where people have discussed that aspect of fit? I've just measured my 32G Satine (which doesn't fit, but it was the easiest to grab) and laid flat the most projected points are more than 6" apart (my ruler I have close is only 6" long, my tape measure is in the bedroom & my partner is asleep). Which I guess explains some of the fit issues lol.

    • 1

AlexaFaie I don't think there's an average, it really depends on fullness and volume and body type and all sorts of factors. All breasts and bodies are different. Mine are pretty separate because I have center fullness which makes them point away from each other when not supported. And I have no separation of tissue between the breasts and I'm a small person overall so there are many factors that come into play with the distance.

    65G

    Didn't fit

I am in love with the Antonina lace! I added a photo of the garters, face mask, and thong along with the bra. You can see the areas that have the shimmery bits on the lace more on the garters, it's so pretty. My BM Antonina is my all time favorite bra. As always, the Ewa Michalak construction is precise and excellent in quality and design.
I got this because the PL style is my best fit right now after exclusively wearing EM for a few months and dealing with some growth/tissue migration. I suspect I have symmastia and I need a low gore so the only style I ... have found that is narrow with a low gore in 65G is the EM PL. I still fit 65FF in the BM and SF styles I have and the gores on those are at the very top of the height I can do comfortably so I have been wearing the PL for the gore, but it's not the best fit for me elsewhere. The straps are so wide on both PL styles I have. I moved them in and reinforced the sides myself on a different PL I have but I would need to size up to 65GG for Antonina if I wanted to move the straps in since there is some loss of cup volume when moving straps. I worry that a 65GG will be too tall and wide though. After a couple hours I had painful red marks on the armpit area so I am wearing it with an extender and that has resolved the issue so far. I don't want to move up to a 70 band for PL because the cup is wider/taller. Maybe the band will loosen and it will be more comfortable over time. I have soft tissue, narrow roots, center full, and I am functionally very bottom full/deflated on top due to major weight loss. Because I have soft tissue and am center full, the tissue spills into the center in this style, which isn't uncomfortable and I still feel support from the rest of the bra, but it does cause major cleavage boob sweat on hot days. I can jiggle around and bend over without any nipple slip so it's not major spillage. It's still very narrow, but not as narrow as some other EM styles I own. This bra also reminds me to have good posture (my posture is terrible) because it pokes a little in the armpit if I'm hunched over for a long time.
Overall, PL style is nice and it makes my boobs look fantastic. If I wasn't looking for a very low gore I would probably own one or two of these for days I wanted major cleavage or very low cut outfits but probably wouldn't wear them regularly because they're not the most comfortable style. I've written to Ewa Michalak asking about changes or other styles that may work but they always suggest I stick with the PL, so maybe they'll eventually add more variety in low gores. I'm just grateful to have found a few bras that are pretty, well made, and give me the support I need based on my extremely specific bra needs.

This looks really good on you! Antonina is definitely one of my favorite lace fabrics on a bra. I can totally relate with the strap width. There are some that are very wide set and act as a posture corrector.

    • 3

Happy2BraShop thanks! I really love Antonina. I've been working on fixing my posture because I had a student who worked in a spine clinic and gave a bunch of speeches on the dangers of bad posture (I teach public speaking) and this bra definitely helps! Everytime I hunch over for more than a few minutes I feel the straps and underwire and think oh, I need to sit up straight. It's a nice reminder. I compared measurements with the other PL Antonina and they're a little different and I may end up ordering that one as well lol this order came from Poland in only 9 days! I was pleasantly surprised.

    • 2

That set looks stunning on you! I love that you got a matching face mask! I love the antonina lace too.

    • 2

Wilderness1 thank you! I had to get all the Antonina I could lol and the face mask was a couple dollars. They sent me a mask in the tulipan lace for free and now I want to get a matching bra it's very pretty. They're perfect for weddings and other special occasions. Ewa Michalak formal wear lol

    • 2

      Wowww, looks really amazing!!
Congrats on such a pretty set!

Do I see correctly that every item has a beige lining except for the briefs?

Are these the non-chafe lace thigh covers - and have you tried them / what do you think?

I normally use cotton bike shorts in summer under dresses / skirts, but have been curious about this type of anti-chafe-bands.

Also I feel your pain with the wide-set straps :( PL, S and SF styles have the worst strap placement for me.

And sadly, Ewa is notoriously stubborn on making any tweaks on her bras.

Admittedly, when Ewa's bras do work they are phenomenal... But I secretly keep dreaming of an Ewa-Comexim hybrid company, where alteration requests are an option 😇✨

    • 2

bubblegum you are correct about the lining, although the garters only have a beige lining on one small section. I have only worn the garters once but I personally prefer bike shorts under dresses. I got these to match the set and to wear for special occasions. My thighs mostly chafe at the very top and the garters don't go up that high. If the chafing area is lower, they would work great. They stay up very well and are comfortable. And they were nice to wear under a dress when it was a record heat day.

An Ewa-Comexim hybrid company would be a dream come true!

    • 1

      yea, so pretty WildWolff !

    • 2

Looks gorgeous on you! And yeah the wide straps are a pain literally and figuratively. I wonder if EM would move straps in for a small fee?

    • 1

WildWolff , would any of the Comexims work for you, specifically their unlined bras (balcony bras https://www.comexim.pl/en/14-balkonetka, which to be honest, I have not tried, lol, so I'm not one to advise on those bad boys...but I will try them one day).

I just say that b/c I know they can lower the gore if requested (and hopefully they will do that). It would give you more options. I found this blogger, she is not your size, but she does have a bunch of posts on Comexims...not sure if it would be helpful b/c - again she is not near your size. but she does get alterations done from them https://bratoday.wordpress.com/2016/06/13/comexim-musetta/

    • 1

      BraOdyssey thanks!

@margesimpson thank you. I have contacted them several times asking about styles and alterations. I asked for the straps to be moved in on this and they said it couldn't be done for this style. I've spent a lot of time researching bra construction, looking at details on different brands, and I've done a lot of sewing experiments on bras in the last few months and I've found that Ewa Michalak construction is extremely precise. The way they sew the straps on seems to hold a lot of the bra together. I have a lot of respect and admiration for what Ewa creates and produces so I accept that changes cannot be made and have considered getting some custom options from them if it's ever in my budget. I think because Comexim is so willing to do alterations I expect other companies to want to do the same and I shouldn't expect a company to change because another one works differently. But it does make me more likely to order more Comexim haha

    • 2

BraOdyssey I do plan to order Comexim with alterations, I'm waiting for my size/migration changes to settle for a bit first. Then I would have to figure out sizing again because I've worn between a 65HH-K in the last six months. I've tried several Comexim bras now and the half cups are nice but too shallow/gore too high. The plunges have a larger number of issues so I worry about asking for too many alterations and not having them all done. I think I would need a reduced gore, reduced cup, straps moved in, added depth at the wire, which feels like I'm asking for too much. And I've seen from my research here that in some cases reducing the gore makes the cup much wider so I'd probably also have to ask for a narrow wire with reduced gore. One day I will have the mental energy to go through the Comexim alterations process and ordering!

    • 2

Va-va-voom! This looks absolutely gorgeous on you! I'm so tempted to buy a PL antonina as well, but I've never tried the style so I'm unsure as to which size to go with. I have a 65G PL on the way, so maybe that'll work? I think M cuts would be perfect for you, but they stop at 65FF volume :(. It may work though? I wish ewa had more low gore styles too! An umlined low gore would be to die for! I hope ewa can figure it out.

How are the garters? Do they stay up well?

    • 3

marilynne thanks! The va-va-voom is a little less from the side angle, maybe I'll add some pictures, I always forget. The PL style does make them look less empty on top and rounds the shape a lot. You're welcome to try this one out if you're thinking of ordering one! Since you live so close it wouldn't be hard or take long to mail it back and forth. This one fits different from the other PL I have and the measurements differ slightly from the other Antonina PL. I asked about the M cut but I think I need a 65GG in padded styles so they told me to stick with the PL. I hope she comes out with a soft or unlined plunge, that would be amazing.

The garters are nice and stay up very well, there's a silicone line along the top and bottom that holds to skin well without being uncomfortable. Very nice and breezy on hot days. I'm kind of short and I think that affects it a bit. If I was to wear them as high up as I can where my thighs actually chafe, they roll over on the top because they reach my butt in the back but that doesn't seem to be a problem on the model photos with taller women. I got them to match the set and for special occasions or lingerie type wear so I don't think I'll wear them for an entire day.

    • 2

WildWolff that's so sweet! I'll see how my PL blekitna fots and I may just take you up on that. I can send you some of my bras to try too, I have a couple of 65G/60GG ewas and some similar fitting comexims that may help you find your fit.

Oh, so the shape is like the comexim 3HC's va-va-voom from the front and flattened from the side. I didn't know that, I was assuming it was like comexim plunges but with a lower gore. I'm looking forward to the side view pics.

I have short legs too, so I think I'd have the same problem as you. What size garters did you get? Maybe sizing down would make them shorter too?

    • 2

marilynne that would be awesome, I hope the PL fits! The shape isn't flattened, I should have clarified more. The shape is fantastic all around. For me because of my soft tissue they're a little less round and in your face from the side than the front view because they spill into the center in the front. Much more va-va-voom compared to Comexim plunges. I have a crop top that I've worn with the BM Antonina and it's a cute, pretty normal looking crop top and in the PL it barely covers them haha it's a great lift and shape. Slightly less projection at the wire than other EM styles though.
I got a size 2 in the garters. I think sizing down would give me a thigh muffin top on both ends unless the lace was very stretchy. Sizing down I think just makes it thinner, not necessarily shorter. The sizing is based on the measurement of the thickest part around the thigh.

    • 2

      WildWolff thanks for the info!!

Same for me, it's mostly the uppermost part of my thighs where I like some 'barrier', so I had been wondering whether such garter-style 'hold ups' wouldn't sit too low.. Sounds like I'll stick with bike shorts; but I can imagine these being super pretty for fancy occasions!

(@marilynne I also asked about the garters / chafe bands haha, see WildWolff's reply above!)

    • 2

Edit: hadn't refreshed the page and only saw your recent comments after typing mine just now! #redundant ;)

    • 3

WildWolff ohh okay, I wasn’t sure if Ewa did alterations. Good to know. And I totally agree with you, in that I do have a lot of respect for Ewa and her bra engineering skills!
Yes we are spoiled with Comexims alterations haha
I feel you too on the comexim alterations, like for the plunge I think I need way too many alterations to try and make it work...but the 3HC has worked well for my lack of fullness on top. maybe the 3HC when you feel ready to try :)
I’m glad the EM plunge worked for you! It is a nice lower gore

    • 2

Oh, awesome! I see what you mean, I'm super excited to try a PL! I need a lot of projection at the wire though, so hopefully that doesn't mess up the fit too bad on me.

I wonder if you could shorten the garters?

    • WildWolff , this person alters their CHP by moving the straps in just 1 cm. https://www.bratabase.com/bra/diyt7/
Personally, I wouldn't want to risk it though! It looks like she's not active any more on bratabase though, to ask her.

    • 1

margesimpson I've tried Comexim and Ewa CHPs, the Comexim ones were way too shallow which I could fix by asking for more depth but it's the gore with CHP that is the issue for me. Besides the gore, a CHP is a perfect cut for my soft tissue and lack of upper fullness, and I like the shorter cup. They give a great shape and feel so supportive. I still have a few that I wear every week or so but because of the tissue between my breasts I never get a full tack with a CHP so the bra moves around more throughout the day and I have to adjust occasionally.

@marilynne there's more projection than any other padded plunge or moulded bra I've tried but I do find myself pushing the wire back up into my IMF a few times a day on the side I use the cookie in, I assume because the cookie pad takes away a bit of depth. I also have horrible posture though so that could be a reason for it falling as well. I will have to look into adjusting garter length and see if anyone has done it and written about it online. It may be worth trying.

@braodyssey I've moved in straps on a lot of bras myself and have done all sorts of alterations on my journey to find a good fit. I've found with Ewa the construction is so precise that any single alteration affects the fit in other places. Comexim was better for moving in straps, I just need to size up a cup to account for the loss of volume with strap adjustment.

    • 2

I see what you mean, I’ve had issues with gores too. But way less with Polish bras! I don’t know how I managed before discovering Polish (can we say pain everyday? LOL)

    • 1

margesimpson I totally agree! Before polish bras I thought back pain was just a fact of life with boobs. I spent a whole year in bralettes and in the winter I would double them. At least I found polish bras eventually!

    • 2

I added some photos of other angles and how my soft tissue and bottom fullness affect the fit of the PL. It's probably why the straps are so uncomfortable for me. I will probably size up a cup and alter myself for future PLs since they are one of very few styles that work for me. marilynne I think with your upper fullness and firmer tissue the PL will work fantasticly!

    70G

    Fits

BUTTONS! The detail on this is BUTTONS and I love it! Not too feminine for me, nice and narrow, lifts!

This review is for the Ewa Michalak SF Czarny Gładzioch in 70G EU (32G UK), color Black. My ABTF size is 34FF/32G UK.

    Band:
    * Very tight. This fits like a 30. Has 3 hooks by 4 columns.

    Wires:
    * Very narrow at 5.5 inches wide in the 70G.

    Cups:
    * 4 part cup, with 2 vertical seams. The bottom is standard knitwear. The top is elastic tulle.

    Straps:
    * The straps are fully adjustable and have a nice embroidery pattern on them in black on black.

    Fabric:
    * The fabric is very comfortable, ... no chafing at all.

    Hardware:
    * The hardware is matching black and it has button details.

About me: very close set (breasts touch), very narrow roots, very projected at the wire, full on bottom, short roots, soft tissue, significant rib flares, narrow shoulders.

    FIT

    * The band is VERY small. I had to wear an extender. I think this 70 fits like a 30 (the stretched length is 31).
    * The wires are wonderfully narrow at this size.
    * The gore tacks hard for me due to being the wrong band size for me. I can wear it but it's never going to let me forget it's there. (SOLVED by wearing 2 extenders.) The wires are as narrow as could be at .75 inches. I really need to overlap the wires but I can't bear to wreck the button detail!
    * The cups are GREAT for my short roots, full on bottom. I do have some wrinkling at the wire, but I can't blame it on projection since this is a Ewa. I do have "flatt-ish" roots so I think the wire is just too much of a capital U shape for me. I need to look into swapping the wires for an Emerald Erin in Carmen if I can get the right height.
    * The straps are plenty long enough and fully adjustable.
    * The sides are a comfortable height for me.

    OVERALL IMPRESSION
    * I'm counting this as a win! I'll try to get it in a 75FF or 80F/80FF for an even better fit, but with extenders this is a keeper for me. And my first 'bra that fits.'

P.S. I totally lied on the "set a fit" because I need to show this as "it fits." The truth is the issues are: band too small, gore too wide, can't fill bottom of cups.

Great review! FYI, on the fit screen you can check off all the issues you had with the bra and then go on to 'personal assessment' and click that none of the issues you described are a problem for you to mark the bra as fitting.

    • 2

Congrats on finding a bra that fits! It looks really good
And thanks for the review, I’m pondering the sf bras and have a similar shape as you so good to know how it worked for you.
Ps. Does anyone know if all EW bands tight? The BM I got in 75 fits like a 32

    • 1

      Thanks bustyand I'll do that!

    • 2

margesimpson great question, I want to know too! I just learned Ewa doesn't do custom alterations so I have to decide what size to try next.

    • 3

This looks great on you, I’m so glad it worked out and has a home now where it’ll actually be worn! Great review too, and the buttons are adorable. I wish more bras used buttons like this instead of bows. I found the band to run a bit snug too but I thought it was because the cups were way too narrow for me or I’d have mentioned that aspect, sorry about that! Once it’s broken in a bit you might find it loosens up though. I’ve found that clasping the band around a pillow for a day or so helps when a band feels too snug initially but the next size up feels too loose if you’re between band sizes or a particular brand happens to run small.

I think it depends on the model whether Ewa bands run smaller or not though, I have a 70GG Szykus too and it felt more true to size than the Gladzioch when I could fit into it but that might be because it’s a cup size larger than the Gladzioch too. I still have it somewhere so I’ll have to measure the band and compare it to one of my Freyas in the same size to see since I know Freya bands usually run on the larger side.

    • 3

margesimpson Introvert I've heard in the past about EM bras being inconsistent about band sizing, but I'm unsure if that was something that was more of a problem several years ago and isn't anymore or not. In my experience, yes, EMs run smaller in the band than UK bras. It's great if you're in between sizes or on the small side of a certain band, but if you're more of a true X band or on the larger side of that band size, yes, a lot of people do size up.

    • 2

KittenParadeForever I'm SO grateful to you! Really happy!

I'm just going to have to keep at the trial and error. I think it's too much to ask for manufacturers to be consistent with each other and maybe with themselves. LOL!

    • 2

KittenParadeForever thanks for the tip,!totally going to try the pillow stretch thing. (I also have an extender in case that doesn’t help)

My shape is short and narrow rooted, soft, and low set. All pictures are with cookies in.

This bra has a black lace over a beige underlining. The straps are their standard straps that are seen on some of the other models. They are a little stretchy but still provide full lift. Straps are also fully adjustable. They do sit over my tail of spence, as most bras do, but I don't find them irritating. They have a nice soft inner lining on the straps that makes them comfortable.

The cups come with cookie pockets and cookies, which are set in the lower bottom half of the cup (not over ... the entire cup like EMs pl). I'd almost consider the cookies half cookies. I did try putting two cookies in one side to deal with my asymmetry, but it was too hard to stuff 2 cookies into one pocket, and it gave the bottom of the cup an odd shape, which you can see in one of the pictures. All pictures are shown with a cookie pocket on my right side.

The shape this bra provides is rounded, uplifted, and exposed on the top of the breast. I love the CHP shape, and it looks great under a tshirt. Unfortunately, I probably could have gone with a 65E in this bra, as I do get some small gaping on my right side (and a teensy bit on my left). I would have preferred to wear this bra without cookies. The cups are just slightly a couple mm taller in this bra compared to the chp opium I also got.

The band is nice and snug, and fits my 28"-29" rib cage well on the loosest hook (I can comfortably hook it on the second, but I don't like to overstretch bands).

Overall great quality as always, but wish I'd sized down to the 65E to get better cleavage without cookies. For comparison, the Pl I ordered in 65F fits without gaping.

I do love this one. Is that a peek-a-boo gore I see or is it beige lined just to give the subtle illusion of the peek-a-boo?

    • 1

MamaPagan , no it's not a peekaboo gore, but that would have been cute. There's a black bow with a little diamond gem. The material extends through the gore so that the black lace shows over the beige background. Hope that made sense, lol.

Yes, it did. Thank you! I couldn't tell, even on the stock photos it wasn't clear, so I thought I'd ask. :)

    Didn't fit

Finally it's here! I should have ordered this sooner.... This is my best fitting bra at this moment. Love the sturdyness of the material and the way Ewa has the top part made: stretchy but supporting. I put it on and wore it a whole day. It fits me so much better than the 85jj... Weird how I started out wearing 85j and now I'm so much more happy with this 80kk. Fitwise this bra still doesn't tack...no quadbood, nice band, good fitting wires and hopefully the straps won't fold. The straps are a bit short, this is them on the longest setting. The FB style provides a ... very nice round and uplifted shape and makes me feel confident and supported, the S styles I own do not give me the support and I don't feel that confident with them being so open on the top part. So not sure whether I'm keeping the Opium which also arrived today...
Eventhough the Tanya is a fancy bra this will be my new everyday work bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • Wow, looks great!

Btw, it is apparently not necessary for the gore to tack on the FB bra. She has a note in many of the models: "It may happen that the bridge will not it stick to the chest but the cut is not an absolute requirement."

    • Gorgeous and looks lovely on you!

CH Cherry is the first CH Ewa has made in some time. I didn't particularly care for the looks of it when it was released, but since the CH can't be beat in terms of immediate projection in my size, I did not hesitate to purchase it.
This is hands down the most projected bra I have. I have six (?) other CHs and they don't even come close. I believe Ewa tweaked her pattern, she must have, because this bra could show movies.
Cherry is a deep dark red, really similar to a just under-ripe Bing cherry, with a black mesh overlay. The mesh is netted with dots. The ... band is black powermesh. The cup straps and the shoulder straps are fully adjustable and made of the cheapest elastic on the planet. The entire bra is finished off with red bows, a giant one in the center and smaller ones on the straps.

It seems quite a few people got loose bands with the Cherry. I didn't. Mine stretches to about 29" and works for me on the loosest or second set (of four) of hooks.
The shoulder straps are stupid. They are so very thin and too stretchy. They are cheap and they look it. They're fully adjustable, but they are almost impossible to adjust. Once in place, they stay there but getting them in place is a chore. They are initially itchy, but that goes away. I wore the bra for an entire day with the straps as is, they do more or less stop being annoying, but I have to over-tighten them and they leave awful red marks on me. I have straps to replace them with and I plan on doing that before I wear the bra again.
The cups are very open and very projected. So, the bra seems big. I have to wear the pad on my right side. In my pics I have both pads in, but it's unnecessary on my left side and actually causes the cup to be too small so I just wear the one. I couldn't size down, but I wasn't expecting it to be so open when I ordered it. The cup pretty much comes out from the wire parallel to the floor, it's amazing actually and definitely presents the bust. Because the projection is insane and my roots are short, there is not a whole lot of cleavage going on for me, which is fine.
The wires are very comfortable. Even with the pads taking up space, they do not make their way out of my IMF. They are narrow and awesome.
The cup straps, I don't think I care for them. I can't get them to lay flat and not twist. I also can't adjust them to a length where they are lying against my skin but not cutting into my inner fullness. I just can't find that sweet spot with them. I believe most of those issues are from breast shape. I have very short roots so I am functionally FoB. The cup straps are laying across muscle for the majority of their length and not across breast tissue. I've seen the bra on women that are more FoT and the straps look a lot nicer. I was considering removing them, but my husband really likes them so I'll keep them, they aren't uncomfortable so it isn't a problem. If I could figure out a way to make them detachable, that would be great.

I bought the underwear in a 38. They fit well, a little loose at the waist, but just right at the back. They are comfortable, but come up a bit high, hitting just below my belly button.

Thanks! The bra itself is lovely, it's just the shoulder straps that I feel need improvement.

I've ordered yet another Ewa Michalak bra, this time from Levana Bratique. There were a few bras in stock in a 75J, and I decided on the BM Kleks (listed as the Lace bra on the site). I noticed that the 75J was listed as 34M US (75J), which is I believe is actually the correct conversion, but is different than how the Rack Shack (32J-->75J) and Bras Galore (32M-->75J) did the size conversion. At any rate, what I received was in fact a 75J. This bra is unpadded, with a black mesh inner layer and navy blue lace outer layer, giving an overall "ink blue" effect when wearing it. The cups felt a bit smaller than the ones on my 75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Koronkowa , but I think that is due to the lace being a little less stretchy and my breasts being a bit swollen. I would imagine it will fit better next week.

This looks good! I own this bra, and it got more comfy after a few wears and washes. :)

Also, it’s the correct size conversion on Levana’s site, but the BM tends to run 1 band small so that’s why the other stores do it differently.

    • really pretty!!

    Didn't fit

I absolutely LOVE this bra. I had seen it on Levana but they were out of any sizes that could have possibly fit me. When I saw that Sheena had it for sale, I was so excited and I had to try it. I had just ordered another SF a few days before and was feeling pretty sure that 65H was going to be my size. Well the first SF arrived a couple of days before this one so I already knew this one was not going to work. I was actually a little surprised at the fit. The ... Iris would be perfect for me if the wires weren’t so tall. I fill it out. The band is comfy although I felt like I could move it in from the loosest set of hooks. The gore is a little wide but I could have dealt with it!! BUT the wire poking into my armpit...I can’t do. I wish I could just cut the wire so it doesn’t go up so far lol. I want to wear this bra! 😞

So I guess I’m going to try a 65GG next per Judy’s advice (from Levana). She didn’t have a lot in stock in my size but did her recommendation on what she had. I feel like a crazy lady! Searching and searching and trying bra after bra and yet still I’m wearing my lounge bras with the bands so big and the cups too small.

    Any suggestions or advice?

I don’t have any suggestions without seeing a 65GG for comparison, but I love the deep purple colour of this bra!

Besides the wire digging into your armpit, the fit looks very good :)

    • 3

Aww, too bad about the wires. :( It looks good on you though! Hope the 65GG is better!

    • 2

That is SO pretty. Hopefully the 65GG is better for you, but I will say that I have two SFs and they both fit a little bit different. I think I may just be de-sensitized to high wires given that I'm 5'1 with a short torso and all wires are high on me, but I do feel like the wires on my 65H - Ewa Michalak » Sf Moonlight Lace are shorter than the wires on my 65H - Ewa Michalak » Sf Zenith (1410) . Maybe the Iris is one of the higher-wired SFs?

    • 3

Rozelyna I just love this color, it’s even more gorgeous in person.

Sheena Thank you! I wish I could put a shorter wire in it lol

bustyand I also have a short torso and I’m 5’3 🥴. I had my eye on the moonlight lace! Maybe it is one with higher wires. I have the SF Gladzioch (black) and the wires bother me on that one too, they are almost identical in length. Have you found any bras with wires that don’t bother you? Oh the joys of having a short torso lol

    • 2

damaries Wires usually don't bother me, actually (hence my comment on being de-sensitized, lol). I'd say the feeling I have with basically all of my bras is more like 'if I could choose I'd make these wires shorter, but I'm not actively being bothered by it.' I will say though that the Panache Olivia's wires were high enough to actively hurt me my first few wears, though--somehow, it's stopped doing that.

    • 2

Rozelyna oh my gosh I just realized what I said lol 😅 you did say that. My darn adhd brain just skips over things lol. Well I sure wish I could get there and not be bothered by high wires 😕

I tried wearing it again and I really dislike that feeling. Maybe I’ll become used to it

    • 3

Have you considered removing the wires, shortening them, reinserting them into the wire channel, and sewing a stitch so they can't migrate back up under your arms? I think I used wire cutters to shorten wires in a half-cup style. I sanded the ends with a Dremel tool, but you could use a manual file.

    • 1

learningaboutbras Omg I would do this! I was wishing I could just cut the wire but I really didn’t think it was possible to do that without ruining my bra.

My shape: full on top, short roots, high set, very narrow/borderline Omega shaped, space between breasts, very soft breast tissue, pendulous, evenish to somewhat center fullness (5'1, short torso, store a lot of fat in my ribcage)

I actually got this bra as a birthday present to myself, and what a great gift! This is for sure my new favorite bra, and I can say 100% now that EM SF is my favorite style of bra. This bra is so narrow, so projected, with such comfortable, sturdy material and such a wonderful, thick band. I definitely felt like a bra model walking around in it today--which, might I note, ... not an OUNCE of notable boob drop. This might be a bit idiosyncratic, but you know that feeling when you watch a video about proper bra fitting for the first time and see the model come out in a properly fitting bra and are kind of mesmerized? I felt like that looking at myself in the mirror today--this is such a close fit!

I measured the wire width of this bra as 5.5 inches (!!!), which is less than what I got for my 65H - Ewa Michalak » Sf Zenith (1410) , but the wire widths don't FEEL all that different to me, and they don't look different stacked on top of each other, so probably take that with a grain of salt (with reference to my shoddy bra measuring skills, lol). Still, the Moonlight Lace does the same thing as the Zenith wire-wise--it's good for about an inch and then is too u-shaped for the bottom of my boob.

I have some strap gap, which is to be expected with me, and my bigger side does, very occassionally, strain a bit against the top of the cup, but it's really not noticeable unless you're posing in front of the mirror or observing yourself very closely like I was.

The gore tacks nicely--not /as/ sharp of a tack as some of my Cleos, for instance, but sometimes, a really hard tack like that can be a bit uncomfortable. I love the little jewel on the gore. So cute! In general, though, I didn't find this bra as pretty on me as on the EM models, and I think that has to do with the undertones of my skin not quite matching the undertones of the (shade of) flesh-colored parts of the bra. I also think the strap detailing looks kind of weird on my back and shoulders whereas I don't with the models. Couldn't tell you why!

Speaking of the band, there's not a ton of lace under the front of the band, but what is there does roll up and scratch agaisnt my skin. I can also definitely feel the lace on the back of the band--it doesn't itch but just presents a noticeable contrast. Also, while there isn't /noticeable/ boob drop with this bra, there's surely some, as while I can push this bra up into my IMF (!!!), it moves away from that space, as when I do that, I can feel the front of the bra really firm against my ribs. It doesn't hurt, but is just a bit of an interesting feeling because I don't think I've ever gotten a bra to sit there before, even if just for a minute or two.

I spent ~$80 on this bra, and while I don't have a solid answer as to whether or not I think it's worth it, I definitely lean closer to yes.

YOU GUYS I'VE FINALLY DONE IT! I'VE GOTTEN THE PERFECT BIKINI!

This is what I've dreamed of for over a year now. I can't believe it finally happened!

So before I get all gushy, I wanted to put the measurements of the high waist bottoms I ordered since there's no option to input measurements for panties or bottoms here. I ordered a size 42, and these are taken laying flat:
    Waist: 13.6 inches
Widest part (at hips-ish): 17 inches
    Top to bottom: 13.3 inches

So the bottoms are way cute, but they don't cover my whole booty! I was disappointed by that; they are sort of high-cut in the back, which I'm not a ... fan of. I like my whole booty to be covered. I emailed my local seamstress, and she said she could add a ruffle along the bottom edge, so I think I'm going to do that, just because it makes me feel more comfortable to have that extra bit of coverage. (It sorta felt like I was walking around with a wedgie when I tried them on. The ruffle won't eliminate that, I realize, but at least I'll feel more "covered" while wearing them!)

Now to the top. Lemme just get my fangirling out of the way off the bat. It's SO much cuter in person. THERE'S SPARKLES! I didn't even see those on the photos Ewa has on her site. It's like swirly sparkles that sort of dash randomly across the fabric. SO GIRLY I LOVE IT! The colors are SO might brighter in person, too. The pink reminds me of the BM Fluo color. The orange is like a mix between neon orange and bright coral. It's lovely. The back clasp has the little hook ruffle cover thing, too.

As for fit, the top edge is a tiny bit gappy for me, but I expected that. The only bras that lay flat for me are my BMs, and I can't really expect a swimsuit to be made with stretch lace like a bra. This top fits so much better than my custom Saint Tropez. The straps aren't as wide, and the top lays down much better. The quality is simply magnificent.

I am so so glad I ordered this. I was having serious buyer's remorse because of the price, but I got it right away on the first day of the sale, so it was a bit cheaper anyways. It's worth it because now I won't have to order anotehr swimsuit ever again! So worth it. I'm in love.

I seriously hope everyone else who ordered it loves it as much as I do.

    Hasn't set fit

I'm so happy that I finally got this bra! I loved the SF Szaron, with its muted tones, and hated the FB Myszerej, with its hot pink trim - but since they used the same base fabric, I asked for and was granted a custom FB with the Szaron styling. Because I've discovered that the FB is actually the most comfortable bra I've found.

Well, the first order was a fail - they sent me a standard Myszerej. So we did an exchange - they shipping first, actually! And now I have my nice, muted bra.

The band is a bit tight ... - hopefully it'll stretch out a little, eventually! The first FB I had was very lightly used, but I think it had been washed in the washing machine, which may be why the band was not so tight. Not that I'll do that!

Anyways, just like my last FB, the Tanya, these cups seem slightly big on me. There's a bit of loose fabric on my smaller size, even tho its stretch lace. But I'm thrilled to finally have a bra that stays in place - FB is the only one now. I adjust it less than any other bra I own. Which is why i've splurged to up my collection to three of them.

Anyways, very firm band, very firm lower cup - 2 fabrics but they are not actually attached, like i can pull them away from each other between the seams. The gray lace also has a white lining, but its stretchy. The straps again have the locking clips so the adjuster does not slide. The straps, as usual, have very little spare for me. I am only 5'2, but my breasts are very low set - my imf is at the bottom of my ribcage.

I suppose some ppl would think it boring, but you know, sometimes its nice to have something that can be worn under light colors without showing!

Added a clothed pic - its a nice blend w the shirt I'm wearing today! Subtle in the best way lol. You can see the slightly odd peak of the bra well in this shirt - its a rayon knit, so very clingy. Quite a matronly look - but it doesnt bother me. I mean, my daughter turns 26 next month, I'm definitely old enough to be a gramma. Might never happen, but I'm old enough!
