The very best adjective I could think of to describe this bra would be "decadent." The materials remind me of a period dress out of Anna Karenina or some sort of historical drama about European aristocracy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> In the promotional pictures it appeared more of a true violet, which is what prompted me to to originally buy it, as purple is my ultimate favorite color-- in general but especially in lingerie! In person it's actually a saturated burgundy overlaid with magenta scalloped lace, dark pink ribbons, and a dangling pearl charm identical to that of the S Orzechowa Pralinka. A frilly, ... semi-sheer trim (which oddly reminds me of the texture of a sea anemone?) lines the band and cups. I was afraid all these fanciful details would make the bra super impractical for causal use, but impressively enough it's completely smooth even under my inexpensive jersey t-shirts. The soft inner cup lining and satiny band are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing a bra during the day, however I did have to hook it on the second setting straight out of the box. I have to admit that the S style is my least favorite shape-wise and can sometimes appear torpedo-ish in profile, although this one definitely gives a comparably rounder and more flattering shape beneath shirts and dresses than does my Syrena in the same size. It's a fun and vibrant bra in a frivolous sort of way!
