Motyl=butterfly- thanks to my current obsession with Ewa Michalak, I am learning a few Polish words lol! I absolutely love butterflies, I have plenty of butterfly jewelry and tops etc. They are a huge part of my personal style, so obviously I had to grab one of these as soon as I saved the money. And I’m so happy I did!
SF is Ewa’s take on a non-padded bra that gives the same shape and support of a padded one. I appreciate the engineering and thought she puts into her designs, both in the bra engineering and fashion design aspects. The bottom of the cup features 3-part seamed ... construction and a stiff fabric that supports itself, and the top part is made of stretch lace. I was worried that due to the nature of the bottom half of the cup it would lack the immediate projection I require, but the extra seams do the job very well at accommodating my projection. However, I still feel a marked difference between this SF model and my BM ones. My breasts are relatively smaller so the immediate projection aspect is not a huge deal for me as they are simply less heavy than, say, someone wearing an 80G compared to my 60G. Overall though, this seems to be quite sturdy and I have no worries of the structural integrity of the bottom cup. It is very tough!
However even though the bra feels very much durable, it is made of a soft knit fabric and delicate lace. The floral patterned fabric is very pretty and goes well with the vibe of the bra as a whole. It is very soft, and reminds me of Lululemon Nulux fabric. There is a tougher polyester-like lining on the stiffened bottom of the cup that I actually don’t mind. Usually I prefer cotton lined bras as artificial fibres are irritating but I have yet to complain about that.
The bright pink lace is the exact same one they use on the Roz i Juz line- it is very soft and has varying textures and hues that add depth and dimension to a seemingly simple lace. This lace is stretchy and on both the top of the cups and the waistband on the matching thong.
The butterflies are probably the sole reason I purchased this set, they are beautiful and made of fabric which I was honestly not expecting but was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting them to be made of plastic or something lol. These are perched on the straps of the bra and the gore, and decorate the front and back of the matching thong. The split straps are just below the butterfly decorations, and are not stretchy at all, but very tough- again, tougher than it looks.
There is a small peek-a-boo mesh gore detail under the bow and butterflies there, which is not stretchy and the same mesh/tulle they use to make most of the SMN models. I appreciate the resourcefulness of this brand, using fabrics from other models to complete a look!
