I'm in love with this bra! I was so worried that the band would be too tight, or the cups too big, or the straps too wide after my (really long) wait, but everything is pretty much perfect. The band does run a bit tight, and the cups are more closed off than is standard for a CHP. If you have tall roots or upper fullness, size up. They're also a bit stiffer than the other CHPs I own which will make them less flexible in fit. I can't wear this with the removable pads, but I don't think I could size up in the cups without gaping due to my lack of upper fullness. The lift provided by this bra is (as is typical for the style) quite impressive. I really don't know how Ewa does it!
So she still makes 55 bands upon request? I thought she had stopped. That's good news!
Yeah she does for just the custom fee. On a lot of them they list the 55 band sizes, but I've gotten some (that are still on the way) made that didn't have 55 band sizes listed at the bottom.
I strongly believe that I was sent the wrong size in this bra. I attempted to remedy the issue with Ewa Michalak directly, but she did nothing but blame my body for the issues with the bra. CH Cherry is very immediately projected, and would work best for full on top or tall rooted shapes. The straps feel cheap and they're very thin. The stitching and finishing on mine is a bit questionable as well.
I'm so sorry! Thank you for sharing. This just cemented for me why I will never buy another EM. I've thought about a ch/chp cut but the overly wide straps don't work for me either I'm a 60FF/65F ish. This is also exactly why I will continue to support Comexim. Amazing bras and stellar customer service.
I just can't believe the attitude that they have as a company. It's stunning. But yes, Anna from Comexim is absolutely lovely! I'll only be buying Ewa through retailers or secondhand from now on.
I won't even buy it through retailers anymore. I don't want to support her company. Now secondhand is another story , but I'd still have to move the straps in which is a pain.

Ewa bras are the first bras that I've found that actually fit me, so I'll continue purchasing them, but I'll avoid using purchasing from her directly. I've read so many horror stories. I'd love to try Comexim half-cups, but i'm fairly confident they will not fit me well.
I'm sorry this happened to you, but thanks for the post!
Total crap customer service. Sorry to hear this happened to you. :(
I also found that this bra runs bigger :( I bought the 65F but it was ginormous (because I wore that cup size in Lilia and Onyx) and the 65E I have also is large in the cups. I ended up moving the straps in a little bit and it got rid of the gaping.
it must be so frustrating :( even if I also find the cups in Cherry bigger that in other models, I think it's because they're very open, all CHs I have owned have the same cup depth. your measurements clearly show there's something wrong. if I were you, I would consider sending the bra back with a claim, then they'll have to measure it and observe the problem themselves.
Too bad EM customer service isn´t very good... :-/
Fortunately their bras don´t fit me (I need wider wires) so I cannot buy them anyway. Back when I wore EM bras I also had to move straps in Every Single Time. We all remember how well EM solved that problem, which was so common for many customers...
Yes, your bra is absolutely a mistake, but you already know that :). You know how many CHs and CHPs I have, they're all within the same measurement range even though some are a little more open or a little more closed. They're also all in the same range as all of yours, except this Cherry which is entirely too deep. It really sucks that they are treating you this way, and I agree that it feels a little personal.
This bra runs a bit taller and shallower than is typical for a CHP. The band also runs small, but feels like it will stretch out quickly. It gives great cakes on a plate cleavage, but it doesn't stay in my IMF like all of my others. The jersey is very soft and comfortable. The matching stringi is amazing, and I highly recommend it. Seriously, the most comfortable pair of underwear I own!
This is a lot better than the 60F CHP. I should have gotten a 55FF from the start, but I thought the band would be as tight as the BM. Oh well!
The straps are still wide-set as is typical for EM, but not enough to cause gaping (similar to Comexim 3HCs). The band is pretty firm, a bit tighter than my Comexim 55HH/Js, so I'm using an extender for some breathing room. After wearing this for a day, I got used to that initial stabby feeling of the low gore (I guess I've just never had anything pressing there) and it doesn't bother me at all now. ...I still prefer softer wires, but this is surprisingly comfortable.
I got the matching Scarlet briefs in size 34, which seem TTS. For reference, I wear XS or S Comexim, XS Aerie.
EM never asked for my measurements—maybe because I ordered a 60F first? A different person responded to my second 55FF order and just asked me to confirm that this was the size I wanted.
Update: I'm in between 55FF/G now in EM CHPs and BMs. Now that I've found my perfect Comexim fit, I'll just stick to that, plus a few Panache 28Fs, instead of getting distracted by all the bras. Read more 100 more words
Very projected, the satin is more muted in person - but not any less good. As with my Arlekin (the more recent pinstripe one), Myszka, and I think one other Ewa bra, some of the eyes on the closure are defective on the last 2 columns. An extender on the inner eye closures that do hold up to wear is a simple work around, but I expect better from Ewa Michalak.
Myszka is so bloody comfortable. I'm not sure why, but so far it sticks out as having the softest inner-cup fabric.
Onto the cups. Similar to my Syrena, the original owner received this Myszka with the lace on the left cup sewn too tight. Thankfully it seems to only be the lace and not the cup (unlike Syrena). Until I fix or remove the lace, this means that the left cup runs a good size or more small and the top sort of looks like a muffin top effect. Maybe some other fit issues with the left cup, but I can't say. If it wasn't for the lace ...issue I'd have marked "quality" higher (but I also probably wouldn't have even gotten this bra) The right side seems to fit just like my 55FF CHP Office, which fits typical to CHPs. Awesome immediate projection, maybe a touch wide for me though snugly narrow (oddly, only with CHPs, the flesh right underneath the wires always aches until I swoop & scoop, even though it's well past my main breasts. Post S&S I have no discomfort.).
The wires and gore seem to come up a little shorter - maybe 1/8" - compared to my Office. The straps aren't chafing and are fully adjustable. The lace does show through thin shirts. The band seemed a little tight, enough to hook it a column or two looser than usual on an extender. Not tight enough to make sizing up worth it IMO.
Unsurprisingly, this looks much better in person! Just the little things cameras don't pick up make me love how it looks, the fabrics, shades and decorations ( silver buttons!) seem to fit together so much better than they did in pictures. This seems to be the rule with EM and maybe Comexim as well, that it will look better in person. The gray isn't cool enough to turn straight blue on my warm toned skin, like some grays do. I wish the briefs were still available, but I can't expect it from a discontinued model. The loops attached (and are sewn onto) the buttons on the straps are an excellent alternative to just loops connecting the straps and bra - no extra chafing! The loops add an extra layering challenge with tank tops and spaghetti strap though, I'm not sure I have a single sleeveless shirt that covers them. Read more 289 more words
This particular bra has a defect in the way it's sewed. The trim is sewn on too tightly, and this causes the cups to be more closed off and shallow than is standard. Ewa suggested that the bra could be fixed if the trim was removed. Otherwise, this is a fairly standard Ewa CHP. My other review of this model contains my thoughts about the model as a whole.
I finally got a full tack on the bra! I pulled the padding out and still had some minor quadding, but overall this is really cute. I don't know about the straps on top...I never bothered adjusting them. However, I definitely would get more like this and I officially love the fit of EM!
Wonderful bra! The print is gorgeous coupled with the lace, it gives a great lift and makes my breast look full and supported, instead of squished! I have not yet worn it a full day so I will edit this later if it turns out to poke or anything but so far it seems to be very comfortable.
EDIT: the band is quite tight so it left some marks, but I will break it in about half a day at a time, I will update again in a week or so.
I'm currently at the cusp of the size range between 3D and S style bras. 55FF/60F/30E. My breasts are too narrow and projected for a 3D cut so I opted instead to get the cute Pieprzyk print in my tried and true favourite PL cut. I have previously owned EM PL bras before in the sizes 60FF and 55G, which was a cup larger in volume than what I measure as. They technically fit, but I found the cups to be a bit too full-coverage for my tastes. That's why I opted to purchase 55FF since I like a snugger band (26 inches snug, 24.5 BTT) and cups with ...smaller coverage, with possibly more cleavage. After the strapgate aftermath with the battle between the bra fitting ideologies from Poland the UK, I can see things from Ewa's point of view. Too many of us have been trying to wear her bras as full cups, when they were meant to give lots of lift and cleavage. She didn't exactly design her bras to be like full cups. I definitely got "Polish boobs" with this bra in my size reduction- if you frequent Balkoneta, you'll get what I mean. I can totally see the merits of the UK's fitting methods since things get kind of haphazard in the bigger and heavier breasts, but I do not have that. From now on when I order EMs, I'll just stick to ordering 60Fs and 55FFs. Read more 130 more words
I was disappointed that this bra didn't fit. It was gorgeous and made really well. I really liked that the wires overlapped in the gore, so it was narrow enough there. I also really liked the feel of the band (once I managed to get it on... I'm not super coordinated). However, the cups cut in a lot. I'd say they were 1-2 cup sizes too small for me directly post scoop and swoop. It gave a very noticeable and awkward bulge under shirts. My measurements usually put me directly between a 26FF and 26G, so I may be getting into the 26G range, but I'd still say this runs small. It's possible that it's not open on top enough, but the style didn't seem to feel too closed off. The straps were wider than I'm used to, but it was uncomfortable or compromising in terms of fit.
This style doesn't work for me. I have a lot of overflow at the top even without the padding inserts. I think that unfortunately I'm somewhere between the 'S' and '3D' styles in Ewa Michalak.
So she still makes 55 bands upon request? I thought she had stopped. That's good news!
