I previously reviewed this bra in detail in a 65G, http://bra.pe/X272/ , and would have loved to have found this in a 65GG to compare as well as to wear during my time of the month when my other bras fit too small. The band is definitely tight for me now, but I think I can get away with wearing with an extender to get a fit more like a 65GG. I have to say I do love the proportions of the cup in this size 60H as opposed to the 65GG. With the 65GG the apex of the bra feels higher and pointier. With the 60H I feel the cup has a much rounder shape with an apex that better suits my breast shape. While I don’t consider this a bra win, it is definitely not a bra loss! There isn’t a whole lot of data for BM’s in a 60H, so I hope this review helps someone out there.
I bought this bra from marilynne (Thank you 💗) 😊 I was super excited to get it. I’ve had my eye on it for a while now. It’s a gorgeous apricot (or nude on some skin tones! I wanted it as a nude bra). It’s super pretty. I was afraid the band would be too tight but tried it anyway and the band is too tight which I’m really sad about. I also didn’t fill the bottom of the cups, I was thinking it could be because of the band being tight. I love BM’s. They definitely fit me so much better than SF. I’m hoping I can find this bra in a 65G/GG 😬😬
Wow, I like that it doesn't have the lace on top like the CHP version. Which specialty store did you get that from?
I would buy this again in 60HH if you get a chance, I actually think this shape could be perfect for you--just a closer fit in the size between the one that was too big and the one here that doesn't quite tack. I'm curious, what is tenting?
Chezeb3lla you look amazing as always :) this looks great on you! I am happy the mystery bra turned out to be a winner :)
Bumblebean it's from Brava Lingerie in Australia :) Here's the link: https://www.bravawoman.com.au/lingerie-everyday-bras/163075-ewa-michalak-pink-marzipan-s-bra-163075.html WendyBien thanks for that, but they didn't have this left in a 60HH so it was 60H or nothing. And it's still a very close fit thankfully! Tenting is where the skin in between your breasts is lifted. I have it very mildly as I am so close set, so gores are always a bit tricky. Definitely trying a plunge style next! Tanzi thank you so much :)
Ugh so I got one of these from Brava too and I'm pretty annoyed that nobody anywhere else in the world will have tried it because that means very few reviews :/ I was hoping to find lots of reviews to see if somebody else had the fit issues I had.
I'm full on bottom and center full with hardly any other fullness on top. 75 backs are a good fit for me with Ewa it seems. I found the 75J in this fit near the straps, but was too small around the middle. The gore didn't tack my center fullness was too much for the cups either side of the gore. I think I would gave gotten more quadboobing during the day as my center fullness pushed out of the cups.
The 75JJ has a perfectly tacking gore and the cups fit beautifully in the middle BUUUUUT it gapes near the straps. Even with lots of scooping and swooping. I obviously don't have enough fullness in that area :/
I bought it anyway as the shape is BEAUTIFUL so uplifted and perfectly round from the side (just like the purple shape Bras I Hate illustrates in her bra shape post- most bras give me the green shape which I'm not fond of) and front and center from the top (like, not east-west which I hate) and with a tightish top over the bra, the gaping near the straps is kind of flatted.
I was hoping I could find others who have this fit issue, but want a super round shape like this :/
I found the padding that comes with this bra is HORRIBLE- it seems really weird to me and makes the bra look really lumpy. I might have to experiment with other types of padding to address the gaping :/
Squish, it's nice to meet someone else who has this bra :) I know what you mean, it seems crazy it hasn't been released anywhere else in the world. But it seems we do have similar sort of of issues with it. Even though I'm more FOT I still get gaping and have trouble with the gore. I've tried fiddling with the padding as well, which I don't find horrible or lumpy, but I've discovered it works best for me with the padding taken out. I love the shape I get with it too. Sounds like your 75JJ is pretty close to a good fit, apart from the straps.
Thanks for the reply here Chezeb3lla :) Did you find the fit of this if is the same as other Ewa S style bras you've tried? I also got a Szykus S style (not an Australian exclusive!) in the same size and I found the fit is much the same.
I seriously wonder if the padding that came in mine is the same as what comes with other bras of this style. It's not like any bra padding I've seen before!
But guess what? After trying on this bra and the Szykus I got again the day after, there was less gaping! I think my boobs fluctuated up a whole cup size between the two days! So the fit of this and the Szykus isn't perfect on me and will change slightly as my boobs fluctuate, but I think it's pretty good.
I've got till the 12th of August to decide if I love these enough for $80AUD a bra.
And yeah, they should absolutely release these world-wide! I'm sure there would be lots of interest. So weird that they'd make it just for Brava Australia :/
No I find the fit a bit different to my other S styles. I have Nostalgia and Kwiaty, both popular S's, and they both fit much better in the cups. But they are both HH's. Although because I already get gaping in this I really don't know if sizing up a cup would help or make it worse :S but either way I do find the structure of the Marzipan to be more rigid. My other two seem to have more flex in the cups so they mould to my boobs better. It really is a bit of a strange one, but I'm glad it seems it might work for you :) and Syzkus is gorgeous too! I've tried that one on before but in a way too small size :(
Personally I think they're worth it. I ordered one bra direct from EM not long ago and it came to $86 all up. I actually love using Brava because it's pretty much on par price wise and I get the option of free returns! Plus the bras are beautiful quality, no doubt about that.
I've got some PL (plunge) styles on the way direct from EM (don't ask me how much they cost, yikes!) but from what I've read the plunges work much better for us close set ladies. So hoping they will work for me, and might be worth you checking out as well if you dare to order direct :)
Squish1901 Would you consider adding your new bra(s) to Bratabase? It'd be SO helpful for others to have the measurements and also read your thoughts/review about the bra (especially since this model is so exclusive!) :)
Yes I absolutely plan to :) Just haven't gotten around to it unfortunately.
*Plan to list photos of and reviews of my Ewa S styles, that.
And that's interested about this fitting a bit differently to other S styles...
I'm trying to find out if Brava can order any styles you want in your size from Ewa on your behalf and charge less than Ewa does with shipping. If so, I'd never feel any need to order direct from Ewa.
Squish I wish!! It would be so good to order everything through Brava, and I have actually asked them about this before. They can't really commit to doing it as they only order bulk shipments, not one off bras here and there. They said this may change in the future, I guess depending on demand, but for now it's just when they get their big drops in. Which is still awesome as they always order a pretty good range of styles and sizes. I know you can reserve specific bras they already have coming in too.
My stats: 26HH/J according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and high set.
The look: I love polka dots! This bra is pretty much exactly my taste look-wise, even though I wear nothing but neutral and boring clothes over it; isn't it funny how our taste in bras differs from that of actual clothes that the general public sees? Anyway, it's a bright teal color and has polka dot ribbon along the bridge and wings and bows made of the same ribbon at the straps and gore. The black dots on the ribbon do seem to rub off quite easily. ...It has a 3x4 clasp (my favorite!) and the hardware matches the teal of the bra. I also managed to find matching panties in size 46 at levana which I somehow altered down to fit like a 36/38, they're a bit higher waited than they're meant to be but it looks cute and compliments the pin-up look that this bra gives off.
The fit:
The fit of this is ok, the cups are supportive and are neither quadding nor gaping but the band is a bit loose unfortunately. The gore is a bit high and wide but it's doable. The straps are too far apart and the wires are also a bit too wide.
I somehow managed to scoop this up in 55HH which is a better fit so I have this listed to pass onto someone else. I want to keep 2 of the same bra because it's just so pretty but it seems greedy. Read more 156 more words
I received this lovely bra from Chezeb3lla so I could try new sizing options. The color is fabulous and pictures really don't do the colors justice. I was looking to try a 60 band since most of the 65's I have stretch over time and I really should be in a 60 band having a 25.5 inch under bust. Sadly this band on this bra stretches way too much for me. I start out wearing this on the tightest set of hooks. I've been finding that my most recent Ewa Michalak purchases have had much tighter bands in comparison to the older ones I've had. ...This fits much like my old 65G CH Toffic. I feel had this bra been a 60GG (with a true 60 band) I would have had a much much better fit. There is some slight gapping in the cup and about a thumbs width between where my breast end and the wire sits on the sides. I plan to keep this bra because I will be trying to get pregnant within the next year. Having a larger cup bra with a more forgiving roomy band will be perfect for pre and post pregnancy boobs.
*All pics were taken with the cookies in the cups.
The cups are a lovely shade of red with navy blue detail and navy blue elastic shoulder straps. The straps are made with a smooth elastic with cute little hot pink bow accents where the straps meet the cup. There is also a hot pink bow on the center gore. The straps are a bit wide set for me, but this may be due to it being one cup size too big. There are pockets inside the cup for the cookies. This bra has three rows and four columns of hooks on the back band. The back band is really stretchy, but made of a lovely soft fabric. The elastic on the back band is evenly distributed along the top and bottom, so no digging in.
This looks fantastic on you - it fits you really well!!
This looks so good on you! I think this one is the perfect cup volume for you, I would just go down in the band. This model is known to run particularly stretchy.
do they still make 55s?
They do, but I think not in this model because it's in outlet.
@PetiteCollegiate Do they scale the cups down with the smaller band size? I find this one to be slightly wide in the wires and a tad high in the armpits. I do plan to wear it during 'that time of the month' when I have more breast volume. It's much too lovely to give up.
Suposedly yes, the next band size down will have slightly narrower wires and lower cups, however I don't know if that's actually always the case. When (if) I ever get my most recent order I'll compare the 55FF/Gs to the 65E/Fs I have.

I think the half cups run wider than the other cuts, dont they? I often read reviews of each model (if i can) to see how stretchy the bands are. Also I think the sheer SMs tend to run tight in the band - at least my 70J - Ewa Michalak » Sm Fiolecik (642) did - I'm still wearing an extender with it.
Depends on the size range! In my size range CHP/CH is the narrowest and most projected cut from EM.
I guess she's closer to your range than mine
dbmamaz I honestly feel it's just a shot in the dark as to what bra will have a tight band. There really isn't any consistency. I have two SM Wrozka, 65FF & 65G, and the 65G clearly has a smaller band.
PetiteCollegiate Up in till now I've always just purchased 65 bands because I was afraid to get the 60 custom order. But I think with the track record of stretchy bands I'll just bite the bullet and order. I do love the look of the CHP/CH cups. They truly provide a lovely round shape under clothes.
sometimes they mention on EM's website that a bra has a particularly tight band. Looked over about 2 dozen and only found 2 marked as 'standard band' but i swear I saw one marked as tight band a few weeks ago
I got this beauty at Custom Curves in Dartmouth, N.S. It fits very similarly to my Summertime Plunge in the same size. The band is very snug. It is a gorgeous dark purple with lighter purple & silver lace and embroidery in a scroll and floral/leaf pattern. There is lilac ruched ribbon on the straps and lilac bows at the gore and lower straps. Love it!
Looks more like the fairytale purple bra to me, but it’s lovely on you.
whooaaa, pretty! This is a gorgeous bra : )
wait, looked at the pictures: only $80 CAD for that bra? I need to shop there...lol.
Yes! Her EWAs are usually $100 CAD (which is still very reasonable) but this is an older style. And she stocks 60s and 65s! And she has lots of Comexims too. I love this shop!!!
Yes, the fabric is the same as Fairytale Purple, but it's a Plunge instead of as S.
My first Ewa bra finally came today! I must say though, I’m more than a little bummed about it not fitting quite right. The cups fit really, REALLY well, the straps are soft and comfy, the wings and gore are the right height for my body, I’m filling the bottom of the cup for once, and the fabric is SO SOFT and classy. The only caveat is that this band fits like a loose 26, so it’s really digging into me (especially at the underwire in the front) to the point that I won’t be able to wear it until I pick up a band extender. I have very slight gaping at the top of the cup, but not enough to justify a size down – a cookie does the trick, and you can’t tell under a shirt anyhow.
That being said, I should clearly go for a bigger band size in Ewa - is the sister size for me 65GG?
Bummer about the band! Ewa's recent trend as been looser bands, so maybe she's changing back to the old way. Sister sizing would be correct, and this would work well cup wise, as sister sizing up will result in a slightly smaller cup, so the 65GG should fit better without cookies.
Either way it looks great on you!
Thank you MamaPagan! That’s super good news about sister sizing - it would probably be ideal for me! The band is honestly the only issue, which I’m glad about. It’s way easier to go looser than it is to go tighter, after all!
MamaPagan Could be that it's a lace band instead of just mesh, too. And agreed, this looks great on you Robras! The band may relax a little after a few washes and wears, too.
sherrach898 Thank you! These measurements and pictures are as it is straight out of the box, as new as they come (you might notice the tag is actually still on in these pics), so if it relaxes down the line that can only be a good thing! I’ll try giving it a wash and see if it helps :)
You are right sherrach898! I can't believe I missed the lace lined band! Yes, any double lined band will be tighter/ have more tension than the single layer tulle ones. Good catch!
This is the most gorgeous bra I own! I love it! Shout out to Custom Curves Lingerie in Dartmouth, N.S.. She stocks small bands (even some 26/55 bands) and is so lovely and helpful. I think this bra might run a bit small (lucky for me because I'm not really an H cup). I need to wear cookies to avoid gaping. Otherwise it fits great. The cups are not too tall for my short breasts- I wish Comexim plunge cups were sized more like these. Hubby commented that my breasts looked particularly perky.
I ordered this bra in a 60H, however I should have ordered it in a 60GG, which I think would be just perfect. For size reference, I usually wear a 28FF. I'll be re-ordering and hopefully will get the right cup size!
I love so much about this bra, however. The cups are VERY sturdy. In fact, it's almost hard to tell the cups are too big because they just sort of...hold themselves up! I like the overall shape the cups give me, very up front and lifted from the center seam.
The fabric is very soft, and the elastic is very stretchy (in a good way, not too ...loose). I found the 28 band (60 band) to be comparable to my Cleo Marcie and Cleo Melissa, in terms of firmness, both of which I own in a 28 band.
This bra is very very comfortable. At the recommendation of other Bratabase users (thanks ladies!) I ordered this bra with three hooks instead of two, since it was a custom order anyway, and this is DEFINITELY the way to go guys! So incredibly well supported! This just steels my resolve that more manufacturers should start to stray from the two-hook model more. So much comfort. Read more 96 more words
This came from Bra obsessed. It has a lowered gore and overlapped wires. It is padded and has cookie pockets with cookies. Straps are nice and firm. Lovely appearance. Under a not too tight t-shirt I could see the lace and the shape was slightly pointy. I think that may be because I felt that if I could fold out about an inch on the horizontal seam the cup would fit better and give a more rounded shape.
This is the first Ewa plunge I've tried . Breast tissue under arm won't stay in cup when I swoop and scoop. Wonder if I need taller wires to contain that tissue. It's kind of loose tissue under the arm. While these lower gores are really what I need for my touching breasts, they make me feel a little insecure with so much center fullness. Wires are certainly a lot more comfortable than in the Cleo bras I've tried.
This bra is absolutely STUNNING!! So much more beautiful in person than in photos. The fabric is soft and smooth. There is so much attention to detail. The top of the cups is edged with a gorgeous colbalt blue lace and that same color has been added to the straps in the form of a blue ribbon stitched over a navy blue strap. It gives a lovely gathered effect to the strap itself and a wonderful way to continue the burst of colbalt blue along the front of the bra. There are pretty pink bows at the straps and one in the center gore area. This bra comes ...with cookie pockets and pads for assymetry or to add a little more oomph when you need it. There is nothing negative I can say about this bra. It is beautiful, comfortable and the floral, with all it's pinks, blues, teal, gray and white colors looks so fresh and delightful! I just love it!! This particular bra was custom ordered in a 60 band, but the cup was too small for me. I've already replaced it in the correct size and would love to find a home for this beauty. Very pretty and the fabric is lovely and soft. I just dont think Ewa are for me though. I still have empty space at the top of cups by the strap? I am full on top, close set, projected and it is the correct size. The straps are also very wide set. I also find the band not as firm as a Comexim band and I am 26 so this maybe the issue
Surprisingly, this design universally flatters warm and cool skin tones. The colors remind me of hot chocolate and fall leaves or orange poppies emerging from beneath leaves in spring. However, the pattern is a collage of impressionistic roses. It is a sophisticated combination of colors, texture, and pattern: significantly more beautiful in person than in photos. Previously, I had worn a 65G Syrena. This 60H provides more immediate projection and is slightly shorter which is ideal for my very short roots. And, my soft tissue is better supported by the smaller band. With asymmetry pads, my larger breast presents slight quadding and the smaller breast is comfortably nestled. The lift and centering are incredible: my breasts but MUCH better. However, due to a rib flare, these wires bite and leave red welts under each breast. And, I rarely want to "display the girls." So, this little beauty will have a new set of twins to cuddle soon https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
I was so looking forward to getting this bra, but unfortunately it just seems to be a shape mis-match for me. I get some gaping at the top of the cup, but I feel like if I went down a size it would be much too small. Also, due to the shape of the cups and where the straps are supported, I get an odd flattness on the upper quarter of the cup--it seems that the weight of my breasts pulls on the cup to create this, but I'm not really sure. I didn't have this issue with the other CHP I tried, so I'm not really sure if its just this specific style or what. The bra itself is beautiful, however.
I love this bra so much more in person than in the pictures! I was a bit hesitant to buy it, but the colors and fabrics are beautiful and very flattering. I appreciate that the fabric is soft and smooth, and that the foam cups provide shape but aren't overly stiff--these cups feel more comfortable to me than the other S style I've tried, the Syrena.
This is such a beautiful bra and I wish wish wish it fit. But I have sadly grown out of it. The colours are so vibrant, and the CHP half cup design is really flattering and gives a fabulously round shape. The fabric is super soft and comfortable. Comes with removable pads for asymmetry or a bit of extra oomph. Love it!
Yay right band size! Boo wrong cup size! I LOVEthis bra. Wore it anyway, but I cannot deny the fit problems with it. The little tie in the center, unique and so cute. The color combination, love! I wish it fit, I love this bra.
Vähän oli tässäkin olkaimet leveällä joten siirsin niitä sisäänpäin. Aika täydellinen https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I have this and it is one of my faves! Definitely a firm band, even compared to other lace band BMs.
