The S Diament Multiway in this cup range is a 4 part construction, with three vertical panels on the lower half and an upper horizontal section. It fully padded and also comes with extra pads/cookies for asymmetry or if you want that extra oomph in your wardrobe https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> [I personally did not use the cookies because I was quadding when I wore them]. A pair of thick comfort straps are supplied. Which I can attest are comfortable however, they are not fully adjustable due to their nature, so if you're short, you may have some problems with that one. The bra also ...comes with three regular straps (I suppose two are for the cross-back and one is for the halter style?). I will say however, that the straps do not seem up to the regular EM quality and they feel rather thin and it is not what I've come to expect from the brand.
Both the minimum and maximum cup depth were taken for this bra, but I usually add the maximum cup depth in the measurements table. These were measured at 14.5 inches and 12.3 inches respectively. The maximum cup depth was measured by stretching the cup over the knee and the minimum cup depth by hovering the cup between the knees and hanging the tape measure and recording that value. I should probably mention that measuring the cup depths were a bit tricky. for me, when it comes to a padded bra, so there is some room for error here.
The band measures 23 inches not stretched and 27.5 inches stretched. This is also probably one of the few bras I can hook on the last hook (the least tightest one) without any issues. Yaaaay. As with all EM bras, there are four columns of hooks.
I was hoping (even though I expected it not to) this bra could double as a strapless (I know, I know, it was not advertised as such, but hey...it could have been possible) but I wouldn't recommend it. This bra, gives an incredible amount of lift at the bottom section (maybe because of the 2 vertical seams plus the padded nature of the bra?)...but it kinds of just leaves the upper part to flop wherever it wishes to, I guess that's in part due to my soft tissue..lol..this is why the straps comes in handy. To help give that section some structure. I must say there isn't any noticeable quadding, which i consider a win, well as long as i don't force tack. But let's face it, that gore is not going to be tacking any time soon. It's a common issue with my bras, so I mostly ignore it.
I also notice, that when compared to the unlined bras, there's a whole lot more uncovered tissue..so what this means is that you can expect some jiggling at the top..the bottom section is quite firm and holds the breast in place however.
One odd thing about the fit that I've noticed with a preliminary try-on however, is that towards the side/corner/near to the straps..but not the strap gap..if that makes any sense..there is some amount of empty space. I don't see if I'm standing regularly, but it does appear at times. I could always put in the pads, but then I'll be quadding. I haven't worn it for any length of time to determine if this will be a problem..but for now it's fine, I guess.
I ordered this bra through MagdaBras4you and her service, as always, was good (^_^) . She kept us informed every step of the way Read more 495 more words
Thank you for mentioning the flimsy straps now used. I am glad it's not just my imagination!
The side view looks amazing. The front view makes me worry you'll fall out. π¬
I know right? I was like there's now way these puppies won't be trying to escape..but when doing a leaning test, I actually spill way more out of my SF than with this bra? That's not to say there isn't some amount of spillage, I think it's just that it lifts it so much and then just leaves the upper part to mostly fend for itself..XDD
You're not alone.. idk what is even going on with the straps..
Wonderful review. So much potential for being a strapless. It does look great from the side profile. The straps are disappointing. I also thought the straps on my bra were kinda flimsy, but being my first EM bra, I wasnβt sure if it was normal or not.
My latest order (received last week) was my first to have cheap straps so it is something new for sure. My last Comexim order (or two?) had the same thin flimsy straps as well which was weird. Definitely not what you'd expect from either company.

Top Nina 65KK I needed to get a new sleep top since my breasts have outgrown my older ones. I ordered this from MagdaBras4you who is absolutely awesome! This is Ewaβs cheapest sleep bra, and the one with the least amount of pink, which is why I opted for it. I have it previously in a 65K, reviewed separately.
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.
The band measures 24.5β and stretches to a max of ... 31β. It has 15 hooks and 1 row of eye loops, located in the front.
Cup Depth is trickier in this since there are no wires and no breast separation, but I did my best to give you a general idea, so here it is as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 10.5β 2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 11.5β
There is no depth field in the database for this type of wireless bra, so neither figure is entered into the db.
The cup width as measured from the hook set edge to the side seam is 9β straight across. The height at the center of the cup is 11β, and the wing is 7.25β with the gore being 9.75β tall. The straps are narrow at 0.63β.
To compare, the 65K has 1 less hook at 14, cup height of 10.5β, wing 6.75β with a 9β gore, and a depth of 9-11β. The band was 23.5β to 31.5β before I shortened it. The 65K had the back double lined and this one does not, so I imagine this 65KK wonβt be as supportive feeling or hold everything in place as well.
As for fit, I will need to shorten the band, and lower the armpit curve to get it out of my armpit, but aside from that the fit is good. Read more 257 more words
That does look good. Still don't understand why 60 bands aren't possible with this.
Wilderness1 The materials feel like Ewa's half lace BMs so I would say yes, they feel soft to me.
@Sovavosi KaΕka said it's due to them not having the patterns for the 60 bands....
Cut 2" out of the back? o.o
MamaPagan so it's not a cotton then? For some reason I always thought it was cotton! It's lace?
Wilderness1 It's like the nylon on the bottom half of the half lace BMs, so they feel soft and silky. No lace aside from the trim, but no cotton. I prefer cotton myself, so that would be nice. π
@Sovavosi. KaΕka said there were a lot of complaints with the larger cups about the sleep tops, so they didn't want to expand to the 60 bands. She strongly suggested I wait for Zamaste since it is designed to be more book friendly.
I washed this one and decided to wear it tonight without alterations. The band doesn't feel bad, neither does the armpit area so I may just leave it as it is. It feels far better than the 65K did. I wouldn't use it as a day bra, but for lounging or sleeping it's fine. Plus it is easier to get on than thr Decent Exposures ones. :-D
Edit: big boob friendly (not book, haha. )
Hmm maybe Iβd try this for sleeping in a 65 then.
Sovavosi You might like it. It has it's perks, like not having to spend 10 minutes trying to get into it, though doing up the hooks take a bit longer to connect than a regular bra, haha. I do hope the Zamaste gets released soon as I would love to try it.
Did your DE bras ship?
Yep, today. I donβt have issues getting the DE over my head... it just gets stuck on my hair π¨
Woohoo for the shipping! Hopefully they will arrive quickly. Over the head yes, but the band to stretch around your boobs? Isn't that a bit of a struggle? (And ouch to the hair. π¬)
Nope, my boobs only stick out in narrow wires bras. Splayed armpit boob FTW?
Okay, so you loop one boob at a time around the band to get them into the DE cups?
No, I just pull it down and around both. My upper pole is completely flat, I just rest it there and pull it out/down.
Oh, okay. I have to pull them up over my rump and that is a chore, but a smaller perimeter than my bust by several inches, but it's comfortable once on. Maybe I should go with a 28 band for them next time for ease of entry. :-\
28 stretched to about 32β I think? It stretched a lot more than I thought it would. No shoulders out of sockets.
32"? Oh wow. The 26 measured 16" and only stretched to 27". Obviously my rump maneuvers are getting it further than that but it is not an easy task that's for sure. I thought about their front closure bras, but then it wouldn't have the looper so less separation, right? Then again this Ewa one lacks separation, so that's where my sternum bras come into play. (Sorry. Thinking out loud. π)
I am glad that the parcel arrived. :) You look perfect in it!
I ordered this in an FB, in 75KK - i can wear a 32 band in panache, and I had to wear an extender the first couple months with this one
Yikes. At least it's good to know that the band runs tight in general haha
You know, i was thinking about this and how she's so inconsistent in bands - i wonder if they cut unstretched and dont take in to account the stretch of the specific fabric they are working on?
Thatβs what I think. Or donβt take wire spring/width into consideration.
Both really good theories really. It's tough to say with certainty haha.
I received this bra after I'd lost my first 10 lbs. I think it must have been all breast weight because it was HUGE π¬.
I can't attest for the fit, but I can go by the measurements a little and from a bit of experience. The height of the cups seem enormous to me. This was one of three SF's that I received in a 65KK and this was probably truest to a 65 band.
This bra is beautiful! EM calculator put me at a 75 JJ. I sister sized down two sizes to 65 KK. I also shed 11 lbs in the month it took to receive it. Lost about an inch off my bust. None underbust. I fill the bottom of the cups but the top of the bra gapes quite a bit. I do have soft tissue so that is also a factor. The top was just loose. Maybe an inch. Not really noticeable under my shirt.
Straps are in my armpits! Cup is in my armpit! I ...tried a trial in the house and it was annoying.
I could close the band and the wires seemed great. At first. After the short trial in the house the wires were hurting me. My ribs were very tender even the next day.
Gore tacked but the wires poked.
The bra was not comfy but this is because it was too small in the band and too big in the cup.
I am wondering if a half cup might be a better fit for me.
Thank you for mentioning the flimsy straps now used. I am glad it's not just my imagination!
