Isnt this the prettiest thing? I dont think of myself as being in to gold ribbon type things, but i LOVE this bra.
The Rokoko was only ever really available in the HP style, but apparently Ewa also made a few Ss. I got this on her in-stock clearance, and it was labeled with a pattern number, not as Rokoko, but i figured it out.
This is my first time going up this high in a cup. I had outgrown my 32K and 34JJ Ss and PL, and hoped this would work. It is definitely a touch big. I fill the cup except ...for the last bit of the upper edge of the cup - and this was with the cookies in. I might add another cookie, at least on the smaller side, or see if the cotton lining shrinks a little after washing. As you can see, its not particularly obvious under clothing. Well, the bad fit, I mean. The pattern, yes lol
I swear I took 2 more pictures - from above and in more natural light - but I guess my phone was playing tricks on me.
I really wonder if this is a bit big because its a one-off, or if the jump up in cup is a large jump, or if I've lost a little weight. I already bought a NWOT 75K from someone in the states, so maybe I'll have more insight in a week.
Final answer is its SOOOO pretty that I will keep it and wear it as long as I can handle! Its nice to have some bras that are slightly big so I dont have to panic about outgrowing all my bras. Read more 185 more words
So lovely! Makes me think of Frozen, but is also really spring like.
Gorgeous!!
haha just noticed I had the size wrong - this is a 75KK, not K
no, whats wrong with me. i mean 70 not 75. the band, btw, is very firm but not needing an extender
The Elsa bra!!! I’ve always loved this bra <3
Its funny, I never actually saw that movie, but I can see it now that you all mention it. I completely loved it before, too, but it wasnt made in my size - except apparently, one was
Wow that bra is so gorgeous it’s unreal!!
Looks so lovely! Glad you love it and is nearly perfect fit. The one I have for sale doesn't have th gold ribbon on straps :( that's shame as it looks way better with it! Also your one has such vivid colours like turquoise- is that the colour of the bra or is just the lighting ? Mine is icy/sky blue
huh, martka00 , thats interesting. I was at first thinking the other rokoko pics were just kinda faded - i mean, there's a sheer layer over the cups so its easy for the light to be odd - but the band and straps are really more turquoise than all the HP pics are.
Maybe I shouldnt have called it a Rokoko? its so close tho
the HP doesnt have the gold straps either. Its really a uniquely lovely bra lol. I swear it tempts me to NOT try to exercise more and eat less carbs lol
I must say your version is prettier 😂 And I think it's still Rokoko! So no need rename it I guess 🙈 I understand the NOT loosing weight, I'm worrying about all my bras that they will become too large if I'll move my ass to the gym 🤦🏼♀️🙈
lcl0706 totally the Elsa bra! It has a fairytale quality to it that I can't resist
Huh. Finally looked up the word rokoko - its a design movement.
" Rococo artists and architects used a more jocular, florid, and graceful approach to the Baroque. Their style was ornate and used light colours, asymmetrical designs, curves, and gold"
perfect name then !
Ewas names usually have a meaning. I have been trying to make more of an effort to look them up
Skidoo beautiful!
Skidoo? My kindle is possessed! *Soooo* beautiful!!!
LOL silly kindle
So put it on this morning after the first wash. Seemed still too big so I put a second cookie in. Then I messed w my hair and put on my deodorant, and then the bra looked like it was almost too small - it wasnt tacking! I took out some pads and it still was fitting snugly. then I reverse-swooped and suddenly its gapping in the center.
So the shape of this bra seems very different from my others - maybe its the scaling? Sort of awkward here!
This bra is not my style, but I appreciate its audacity. The coral is on the orange side, not on the pink side, which I prefer. I bought the bra to test whether I could do a 70KK in the BM cut, and I can. I consider my "actual" Ewa size to be 70L, which she doesn't make. I just buy 75KK S or SM cut bras and alter the bands for now. This bra fits kinda weirdly well. It has a very high level of immediate projection AND projection at the apex. It is SOOOO deep! But the immediate projection is which is what I need for ...my super-projected boobs that extend at a 90° angle. My posture improves with it on.
The shape this bra gives is so funny on me, though!! I keep grabbing my absurdly pointy boobs and laughing -- my natural boobs are pretty round, so it's a foreign shape for me. Kinda love having this shelf space though. Wearing this bra, I can understand why Ewa refuses to do 70L and its sister sizes in the BM shape. With how round all of her other bras make my boobs look, it'd make sense if she saw this pointy shape as a scaling issue. Read more 100 more words
I am waiting on an SM Fiolecik and worry about the tightness of the band. I did order a cup size larger in the Fiolecik then my Bm perla - per advice from EM. (a 32HH and a 32J) Always love seeing your modeling bras in something near my proportions!
dbmamaz Thank you :-) I have found that so far I require one cup size down in the BM from my S, SM, and PL cup size, so what you say makes sense. Hope you like your new bra!
Sexy bra and you look good wearing the suspenders with it.
S XoXo in 70KK Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database, but since I did measure it, I decided to add it anyway. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
S XoXo is a padded balconette style bra in a pink with micro black dots and a faux corset lace up on the cups, and has a white cotton liner. The cups are lightly foam lined plus they had removable pads that are labeled by EM for the correction of asymmetry. The pockets for the pads in this bra are sewn completely into the bottom ...of the cup, unlike the CHP style which is only sewn on the curve of the wire and not across the depth of the cup.
The band was 23.5” and stretched to a max of 31” with 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.
The cup depth was 13” (measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance) and stretched over the knee to 14.5”. I am fairly sure that I measured this with the cookies in place, as I was returning the bra and didn’t want to remove the cookies for simple measurement purposes. The height of the cup was 10” and the gore was ½” wide and 4” tall.
Very pretty. Fabric is a bit scratchy. Is my least favorite EM material. No notes on fit since hilariously too large https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I got this bra used, but in very good condition. It is my first 70 band from Ewa Michalak so that was fun to see how it worke out.
The bra is a little more cream than white, but very lovely nonetheless. I have tried the Pl style in 75JJ so this is a smidge bigger in the cups. In other S and SM bras I've worn the 75K size which is a sister size to this 70KK. It feels a bit big on me, but perhaps with the straps a bit tighter it might be okay. If not maybe a 70K would be better.
The 70 band is very ...comfortable! It feels supportive and not too tight. The gore fits well and flat against my sternum and the straps are sturdy. Because it is a multi way bra it is a little easy to unhook the straps accidentally. The wires fit very comfortably without being too wide. I love the narrowness of Ewa Michalak bras, it makes it hard to wear other brands!
The lace on top of the cups is so pretty and smooth under clothes. I like how it is a little embelished between the cups with the ribbon and pearl without being too flashy.
Edited to add: when I tightened the straps even more it did help with the gaping at the top of the cups, however it makes the cups come up rather high in my armpits - so not completely ideal. Read more 137 more words
Note: This review is for the 80KK, the size that did fit. This most definitely was too small in the cup.
My favorite S style bra I've tried so far, it's pretty simple yet elegant and has an excellent fit. A bit thick though. I wore it to a fancy Christmas party along with the Urkye Mala for dramatic effect (perhaps a bit too dramatic)...you will get a serious male gaze in this bra!
The only thing I hate is that the wire is a tad bit too long and pokes a bit and the cup itself is too tall and chafes my arm, ouch https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
So lovely! Makes me think of Frozen, but is also really spring like.
