Purchased this for my mom so I can't speak to the fit. I have 5 or 6 Antonina products now (I'm obsessed) and I had to get my mom a set as well. The construction and materials are the usual excellent Ewa Michalak quality and precision.
So I'm still torn between 80DD and 80E. This one is stretchier fabric than the lace ones, which cut into my breast at the horizontal seam in a DD, but have slight wrinkling at the upper cup in an E. After putting back on about 8 lbs I've loosened it to the loosest hook when I was in the second, because it was digging in slightly under the cups. I probably need a hook I between the two but cant have everything! It's a nice nude color for light shirts and the lace isnt super obvious under clothes so it's a good workhorse nude bra for me. The straps don't slip, it's mostly comfy and I'm not adjusting it all day.
This one is beautiful. I had it and later traded it but came across the high waisted briefs. So I might get it again at some point. Or pass on the briefs.
It's a nice bra. And it was also one of my nude candidates on lace.de. But then I have the very well fitted Cleo Marcie instead of it.
It's so pretty! I love the little pearl charm. Hoping to add some pics tonight too :)
Updated review - most comfortable bra I've ever put on. This bra really feels like I'm not wearing anything at all, however after 2 wears the stretch mesh started tearing away from the center gore.
My breasts stretched this bra to maximum stretch and tore it after a couple of wears so this bra isn't very sturdy.
Since 80E is way too wide for me, I'll be sister sizing down in the band up in the cup. Hopefully doing this gets me E cups with DD wires.
75F will most definitely be snug so I'll also be getting matching extenders until they break in. With 80DD, I can stretch it ...to maybe 5 fingers but that's borderline distorting the wires so 75 should be technically perfect for me, but due to my rib flare I do try to size up in the band when I can.
I will be placing a new order directly from Poland soon for more sf bras.
If you plan on having a tight fit in this bra, don't expect it to last more than a few months. The comfort level makes it worth buying a crap ton of these just to tear them up time after time, but not everyone can afford that.
(It's possible I just got a bad one, but it's also possible I didn't. Only time with new bras will tell)
Quality - excellent because it feels as if you're not wearing anything, if it weren't for this, quality would be rated crap due to the bra tearing up after a few wears. Comfort - ↑ same Appearance - excellent because I love simple nude bras and of course being in the south I do love buttons. Read more 171 more words
Jj (not really sure how to tag here but I did figure out why measurements aren't adding up on here) I accidentally added this as E and the measurements are still showing up on the E 🙄
I should if bra will eventually stretch when broken in because it's maybe half a mm off. It could just be my soft tissue. If it is my jello breasts then this bra fits 100000% perfectly. I can't even get it in the picture how much I feel the seam on my breasts because it's really not that much at all. I'm afraid if I size up it will be way too big now that I really think about it.
Once the new bra excitement wore out I tried the bras on again and am second guessing this one. I really really want to keep it.
Another question. Is nipples being right here normal? They're typically a quarter inch off center if I am bra less. (Center full)
To your points: Do you feel contained and supported enough? I sort of prefer the immediate depth in their BM which gives 'rounded natural' vs the high heavens lifted of SF. Sf is an upper full style that seems to be the better version of what panache tried to do with their now discontinued Jasmine, both are pretty deep cups but they both fit rather shallow in the lower cup. It may be that a PL or PLM also suit as they are narrow, somewhat upper full friendly designs. Lifespan of bands: I've heard that EM bands run a little more true to size these days which reflects in my recent purchases for myself and household, but I'm still wearing Ewas that are +4 and even +6'd bands from ages ago that haven't worn out in the band one bit, anchor very well on my sub-30 back, and would especially expect with a lower weight volume that they shouldn't ought to wear out as 'regular' bras found in clothing stores do constantly. YMMV and their styles do have their own peculiarities between them of course, but still wouldn't anticipate needing to replace EM with the kind of frequency that western makes tend to require. In the end it makes more sense to sit a half day in the SF and let what feels 'off' come to you to jot down, which may help more than trying to diagnose where malleable tissue settles. Determining one's shape can be a real PITA and the term "Functionally' goes a long way when you find certain persistent fit issues apply. As far as where apex settles, I also get the east west pretty bad and seek more inner fullness in the cup to stop that, but also am on the other end of the spectrum with dense tissue that behaves orange-in-a-glass with everything, and willing to tolerate some east-west ugliness for the sake of comfort.
Thank you for responding!
I don't feel the bra whatsoever, at all. But I don't can't put it on the way I typically put other bras on. I have to "tuck" my breast down and in to the side or I have really bad quad boob. For me, BM is pointy and unnatural looking whereas the sf is natural for me. It may just be that Antonia is a little taller in places than other BM bras.
Once I'm situated in DD, I stay in place. I've only fallen out once and that's because I was bent over for 2 hours.
I have decided to go up to 80E for sf nibynic and other sf bras. My other bras that fit well are half an inch deeper than the DD nibynic so it should work out fine.
I am fot but have no breast tissue on top so I'm actually fob. My upper breast tissue is non existent so the PL bras aren't something I'm interested in. Thank you for your help, though
This fits almost exactly like my other stretchy Ewa Michalak BM. I like the nude lining with the black lace, kinda faking being see through. The additional straps are cute and fun!
Lovely bra! Workmanship is excellent. Very sturdily built. Band is semi-stretchy and fit okay. Unfortunately, the cups were a tad too small... the whole bra felt like it was crushing me! I would've been better off with an 80E. For reference, I am quite a consistent size 34E with firm(er) breast tissue.
Ordered this bra too small. Even still, it's comfortable. Not sure the half-cup shape is doing me any favors. Plain nude bra with some pretty details. Embroidery on the fully adjustable straps & bows on the center gore and where straps meet the cup. 80 band is okay. Normally I'd order a 75/34 but was afraid of the reviews that said Ewa bands ran tight. I can agree that they do, but not a full size. This fits on the 2nd hook rather than the 1st as is usually the case with my 75/34's. I can usually wear a 80/36 on the 3rd hook.
Beautiful bra that I stupidly ordered a month ago in a size (or two) too small in the cups, but luckily I also ordered it a band size too big which just might be its saving grace. Even the wrong size, it's comfortable once on and adjusted. I'm not going to stretch the band in case I send it back. However as an 80cm/36in it feels tighter than other 36's I've worn. Closer to a 34, but slightly larger than that. It fits on the 2nd set of hooks rather than the preferable 1st set for a new bra.
This is really nice bra. Fantastic color, really. There are 4 rows of hooks. I've started on loosest, but it stretched out really quickly (after two wears!) Now I'm on tightest. The band is too big. Everyone said, that EM bras are too tight, etc. This is not true. Maybe older models, but now... I think it's like normal UK sizing. Don't believe in EM bra calculator! It recommended me size 85D (UK 38D), but size 80 is already big for me. Edit: The straps are too short for me. The "comfort" straps look good, but they end on the edge of my shoulders, the seam is really uncomfortable.
I didn't wear this bra very often, because of short straps. (My usual problem) But the bra was very comfortable, soft (really light padding), for couple of hours. Then something strange happened with straps. /photos/ It hurts and I can't wear it. I have this bra for 2 months and it isn't wearable. So beware!
This one is beautiful. I had it and later traded it but came across the high waisted briefs. So I might get it again at some point. Or pass on the briefs.
