This material is a perfect fit for me due to many issues. It holds in the top breast tissue that normally spills out from being lifted. The gore is higher than I've had previous but seems to fit well and separate, although I think it's probably too separate and I need more projection. The lift was fantastic, but as usual I don't fill up the cup completely on the top or bottom but it holds me well. I have problems with a push-up or correcting bra with the uneven sizes so this seems to be the best. I also do not like my breasts to touch and this keeps me separate.
My shape is conical and splayed. I have tall roots but am not that full on top.
I got this bra two days ago and have worn it for a few hours. I love the design. It has pink gingham cups. Lace on 2/3 of the straps and around the bottom. The band is a matching pink. And of course bows!
It is very comfortable, I was worried about the sizing because I have gained weight but I think it fits perfectly. The band is really nice. It is stretchy, but not *too* stretchy, so it is still really supportive and won't wear out too quickly.
It does ...have some small flaws that I am slightly disappointed about. First, the cups wrinkle even though it fits well. I think this is because the outer gingham layer is a lot stretchier than the inner mesh layer. And it may have been cut slightly too large or wrinkled up while it was being sewn. It doesn't show under clothes so it doesn't bother me too much. Second, the lace on one of the straps was sewn on crookedly so you can see a some of the white strap peeking out underneath. This bothers me a little more because it kind of ruins the effect of having these cute lace straps.
Overall, I still really like it even with the small flaws. And it is so nice to have a bra that fits again. Read more 133 more words
I wanted to love this bra. The fabric is as soft as warm butter. However, as I expected I fall out in the center with any body movement. (I requested fit help from Ewa Michalak and they suggested this for my type of breasts, even though it went against my better judgement. Plunge does not work for me.) The band was too loose and I had to use the last hook, but everything else was great.
When I requested fit help from them I sent a picture wearing a PL I had and they told me it looked fine. But the cups are tall, straps are wide, and I spill in to the center and have to scoop everything back in occasionally. I'm in a different size so this may differ for you but I have more success with the S style. Cups are shorter and gore is a little higher, it's supportive and keeps them separate.
also you have to pull super tight when measuring bands for ewa - she runs loose. except when she runs a whole size too tight. Thats the worst part, the inconsistencies in bands between models/styles
I don't think I'll ever find a perfect bra, but as far as padded ones go, I think I've come as close as I'm going to get. This is the first bra where I've been gleeful after trying it on.
The bra itself is this lovely pale peachy-pink. The top of the cups are decorated with matching lace trim, and there's a matching bow on the gore, as well as a tiny little gem. On me, the color can almost pass as a nude, which is great. The color and the simplicity of the bra itself I really like; it's not exactly sexy, rather more elegant. I approve. ...Also, it's a vertically-seamed halfcup so it just looks lovely and gives amazing cakes on a plate cleavage which I love. To quote my husband, "holy crap, you have a shelf".
As far as the fit goes...okay, it's not a perfect fit. It is actually a bit too small in the cup; the gore doesn't quite tack (there's about a finger-width of space) and when I push it down I get some very minor quadboob on my larger breast when the inserts are in. With the inserts, however, the cups are just about the right height for my super-short roots. I can sacrifice the gore tacking for this bra. Without the inserts, the gore still doesn't quite tack but I don't get quadboob when I push it down, though the cup is also too high on my smaller breast. So, inserts are staying in. I think that if the wires were a bit firmer (I like the nice super-firm wires in Panache bras) I wouldn't have an issue with it not tacking.
The band is a true 38 band - I measured it stretched at just over 38 inches. I think that for further EM orders I may go down to 36/80 bands. The four columns of hooks means it will be a very long time before it stretches too loose for me to wear, however. The wires are a good width, the gore is just about where I like it to be, and the sides are a good height - no armpit stabbing! Always a plus.
As far as downsides go on this bra - the edging on the straps, while pretty, makes it difficult to adjust them (I have this problem with my 85GG - Ewa Michalak » Chp Owoce Leśne (573) as well). The other thing that was immediately noticeable to me is that the inserts themselves leave some unattractive lines and lumpiness on the front of the bra. I don't imagine this will be visible unless wearing an incredibly tight t-shirt, but even so.
This bra makes me happy and I am happy with it. Read more 349 more words
Wow, this definitely looks like your best fit! So happy for you!
(funny that your hubby was excited about the 'shelf' - i kinda hate that look on me, but what can you do)
Thanks! :D
I'm not gonna lie, I kinda love the boobshelf look on me. Even if it looks almost comical because of how projected and short my boobs are. It's hilarious and great.
I got upset when I was trying on nice clothes for my mom's 80th birthday party, which is a fancy affair. The boob shelf does not look elegant . . . hilarious and way better than ye old saggy-boobs-in-the-belly-button, yes. But not elegant.
I would also recommend getting an Ewa extender if you order the 80. Sometimes they're 36 sometimes 34ish.
How different are their extenders? My fiolecik or whatever has been fine w a regular 3-hook one
I've got a big bag of extenders (cheap ones I bought on amazon to pad up an order to free shipping :P) and they fit my EMs no problem.

Ok this bra is obviously too small for me, but I wasn't expecting it to fit at least 2 cup sizes too small for me. I comfortably fit another SM bra in 40G, so figured this 38G would be close enough with an extender, and boy was I wrong! The band in this style is tight, so I definitely needed an extender to fasten it, and the cups are much too small as well. It's a very sexy bra, if I find it in 40GG or H, I might try it.
For reference my shape is kind of conical, splayed and top and side heavy. My boobs can't really make any kind of cleavage.
Absolutely beautiful bra. Normally I wear an 80g or 80gg. I got this in one of their sales. I think it is an acceptable sister size for me. The 85 is quite comfortable. It is the one I always reach for when I am on my period and need a little extra space but also the pick me up of gorgeous lingerie.
The biggest difference I noticed between this and an 80gg is that the wing is a lot taller and is in my ...armpit. But the wire doesn't really poke me so it's not that much of an issue. The wires in general feel wider than my 80's, they still encase my breast tissue well, I just think it gives less lift and a more natural, minimized shape. There is a tiny bit of gapping near the gore, but I get this on every sm, and it is not as pronounced as it is in my pictures, which made it look worse since I had to lift my arms to take the pictures.
I also got the matching thong in a size 46. My hips are 50" but it fits well and I think a 48 would have been too big. Read more 118 more words
This bra is the usual EM CHP cut and fit - very projected and open on top. The colour is a lovely plum shade and I like the detailing on the wing. The materials are good quality. For me, this is not a great fit due to the wires being too hard and too tall.
This is my first PL from EM. Treschic81 sent this to me to try since I had ordered one directly from EM, but am still waiting for it to be shipped. I am so glad she did, because I love it. It is the most perfect nude with gorgeous floral lace overlay with the satin trim at the top of the cups. I normally wear an 80GG in EM, but the band felt great on the 2nd set of hooks. Some adjusting of the straps, and this is a winner!
OMG Where have you been my whole life?! This bra is FABULOUS! I'm so glad the reviews were not all hype. Very comfortable. There's no digging, no sagging, no spillage and the uplift and proJECTION!!!! Well, they are just to die for! I really can't say enough good things about it. I only wish it came in other colors. At least a nude... then it would be my PERFECT bra. I'm so happy I'm giddy & my daughter, who got my into all this fitting/bra stuff, is very jealous. Bottom line... I will save my money and only buy these bras! (well... I may continue to look, lol)
Thanks! Can you explain what the letters mean? PL CH CHP S etc.
I'll need to go find the style guide, but off the top of my head I remember that PL stands for plunge.CH is a type of half cup.CHP seems to be a hybrid between CH and either PL or HP,not sure which.HP is another kind of half cup,but different from the CH,it gives a different shape.
I so like the before and after side photos, debrivera1 !! Very useful.
Wires were a bit narrow for me, got some side stabbing and center falling and I usually wear a plunge style. Band was comfortable, could easily wear it on the smallest hook and it was not as snug as I would ideally prefer.
Wires were a touch narrow for me, found I was falling to the center and quad-boobing a bit and I usually wear a Plunge style. Band was generously stretchy - could easily wear it on the smallest hook and it was a bit loose for my taste.
This fits perfectly in the cups and really puts the breasts front and center, but I can't fasten the band without an extender. Chalk it up to sizing inconsistency: I have two other Ewas, a CHP (80) and a PL (85) whose bands are just fine.
Goodness is that band tight.Yet with the measurements for a 40 band,it goes up to 42 inches,so that's odd.I was wondering if you could tell me how the cups are, does the fabric stretch a little as you put it on,increasing the cup depth slightly?
SparkleDarkles Yes, the fabric does stretch a bit. I'm finding nowadays that the cups aren't quite deep enough at the bottom, but they accommodate a lot of center depth, if that makes sense.
Oh great, that's good to hear. :) Maybe ordering a cup size smaller than I thought I would need will work.Usually I need more depth at the bottom, but am willing to try cause I'm in love with this bra. :) That is good news for those who need the center depth, though.
I love the simple black padded plunge with multiway straps- you can do racerback, halter, regular, etc. I also love padding for modesty. This bra comes with removable foam pads that insert to pockets for more lift if desires, or to correct asymmetry, which I love.
The bra gives a nice , projected, round and up front shape.
Unfortunately, this bra is too big for me...I think I would do better in an 80G to 80FF. So I am not sure what I can generalize about the fit... In this size I get nice projection, but gapping up where the strap meets the cup. ...Also the straps (not the wires but the straps) kind of cut in to my armpits- they are just too wide there for my shape. I hope in a different size with the scaling the cups wouldn't be as tall- I have short roots in height.
I have tried the CH in this size also, the PL is much taller in the sides so I gap a bit more. But the PL is much better at hiding my asymmetry, even without the added pads. The projection is more in the PL, but there is too much space on top- like it wants a little more upper fullness than the CH needs. Obviously, lower gore in the PL, better for V neck tops etc
Thinking about keeping it despite the bigness because of the adjustability, until I can get my hands on one that works better?...or should I sell it and move on...decisions. Read more 155 more words
Coral colored bra with lace like embossing on the fabric. White lace trim with lace bow in the center. 85 band fit me well, I usually wear a 36 (34 in some freyas).
This bra has vertical seaming and made with a thin foam? lining. The seams are both close to the center of the bra. This leads to GREAT center projection, less as you go out to the sides. Which is good for me, close set with immediate and center projection. This is the first bra I have tried that has enough projection. Very nice profile. I don't fill it out as well toward the side ...wires, though. The seams are somewhat obvious, though, and give a bit more "corner" than I like at the seams. I am hoping that this gets better as the fabric is washed and broken in.
On my bigger side, the cup fits very nicely. It is open at the top. I do wish the top of the cup was maybe less thick or rigid- toward the strap it gaps a tiny bit, and this shows thru a tshirt. The top of the cup comes straight up, not curving back in at all. I have a short heighted root, so that may be the problem... I think the cup comes up higher than it is meant to on me, so instead of ending at the apex, the bra ends after my top boob starts curving back, and just kinda sticks up there.
My small boob.....another story entirely... Unfortunately, this bra accentuates my problem. Over an inch of gapping at the top on the left, so the bra just sticks up like a cliff. I don't know whether to alter, or find something better for my asymmetry. Straps pretty far apart, but that is the way of EM Summary: cute coral bra, great center projection, narrow gore Cons: visible seams, wide straps, foam makes gaping more obvious Read more 214 more words
I was curious if you could measure the top to bottom depth for me?I was thinking of trying a CH in a 38GG and would like to know how tall the cup is. :)
Sure, SparkleDarkles. At the tallest, it is 6.4 inches "tall" or if I follow the curve on the outside going up, it is 8.4 inches. However, when I wear it, much of the height is taken up as it is filled out, so from front, it mostly looks like it goes straight across from the gore, which is a 4.2 at gore/5.2 at wing. Just listed it if it seems it might fit you. (85 is technically a 38, but it seemed just right on me as a 36)
Hmm,that is a very good height for me!I will check out the listing. :)
For something that is way too big on me, it is scary how close it comes to fitting. The band is definitely firmer than your typical 38. The closest sister sizes to me are 32HH/30J... coincidentally, I'm looking into 30HH bras atm and have heard many people size up for Ewa's plunges. I may have to try getting this one (or similar) in my actual size.
Issues I had with this bra: - the band is obviously too big for me - the straps seemed a bit long - when I stand straight, there's a perfect line. Lean back and quad a tiny bit. Lean forward at all and GAPE CITY. - Maybe it's the padding but it just feels very bulky. I usually try on unpadded styles though.
I know the gaping problem is standard for padded/molded cups... the gaping at the top does bother me though. I'll have to think a bit more on if I'd prefer to go with a 32HH/30J or size down to 32H/30HH.
Congrats on the "bra win"! : )
