This bra is slightly too small in the cups for me but it's close enough to wear thanks to the stretch lace on top. It's very comfortable, the fabric has a very luxurious feel to it and the design is really very beautiful, the pictures can't quite capture the subtleness of it. The light pink colour is lovely.
My first EM bra! Of course, the nursing bras are not nearly as exciting as the regular ones, but this is still a great bra.
Considering I had no idea what size to get, this one fits surprisingly well. The website suggested something like a 44G when I normally wear a 38H or HH. Based on reviews of EM I decided to get a 40 band. It fits well enough. I don't wear it on the loosest hook though, but I think a 38 might have been too tight.
The HH fits strangely. At first it seemed way too loose, because I had a lot of space at the top ...of the cup. But after wearing a while and really adjusting myself into it, I have no idea if the cup is too big or too small. It wrinkles a bit where the cup meets the strap, but since there is an extra layer and the nursing clasps, I don't know if that can be helped. I feel like there is a tiny bit of quad boob going on on my larger side.
The center gore does not lie flat. It comes close: it's flat at the bottom but slants out toward the top. There seems to be a bit of space in the cup at the center.
I love this bra. It's comfortable and supportive and gives great shape. I'm really happy I was able to find a good size on the first try. One downside is that since the cups are slightly padded, you need to push them down when you nurse, and I wonder if that will wrinkle the padding over time. Read more 164 more words
Let me start off by saying this is clearly the incorrect size for me. The band is too tight and the cups are too small. They don't have the volume to support my tissue without causing them to fold over on themselves. I LOVE the style of this bra, though. I'm such a fan of the SF line of Ewa Michalak bras. I'm very used to Elomi bras, so the SF style is pretty close to that. I will say that the stretch fabric on the Ewa Michalak bras is an upgrade over the Elomi. It's so soft and doesn't seem like it will ...pill over time. I'm a little bummed that they don't come in a size I think will be quite large enough in the cup for me. I think I could make it work with a 100GG, but a 100H would be better. Unfortunately, I think I have to look into the FB style, which seems a bit less likely to have the colorways/cuts I want, but I guess we'll see. The wires on this don't dig into my armpits, so that's a bonus. The button embellishment on the gore is a cute detail, but the ones near the straps seem like they might show under a very tight shirt. Not sure I'd keep those there. Read more 115 more words
ohh, bummer! that what I like about E.M. bras (and other Polish brands, like Comexim): they aren't scratchy like the cheaper brands can be. like Elomi and Curvy Kate can be.
I was so looking forward to this bra, but because of my weight fluctuations I wanted to test a large cup size to see if that would help with the quadboob issues I have had in the past. I measured myself and used Ewa's size calculator, the bra I purchased is the size which was recommended using my current measurements.
Fitting: Unfortunately the band is way too large for me, the back strap has quite a lot of stretch. The cups gape a little at the top even with the additional padding, which you can hopefully see in the pictures. I tested it with and without the pads, and ...even tried lacing the centre gore tighter but this didn't help at all and made it sit somewhat strangely on my body. I have very pendulous breasts, with most of the breast tissue at the end of my breasts so this might also contribute to the gaping at the top.
This bra is very beautiful and despite the fitting issue, I can still wear the bra as the gaping isn't super noticeable with certain fabrics.
I won't be returning the bra as Ewa's store goes on holidays soon for a few weeks and I don't want to be without a bra in the meanwhile. I might try a different style bra in the future but hopefully this review is still helpful... I still think that because the wires on Ewa bras tend to be quite narrow these fit me better than most of the bras available from major companies or from stores like figleaves in the UK. I still haven't been able to get a perfect fit with an Ewa bra, but I love the look and comfort of the ones I have purchased even with the minor issues I have experience - I still really like her bras. Very comfortable bra. This was my first experience buying from Ewa and was just hoping that the calculator on her website would work - it did. I normally wear a 34J/34JJ as my weight fluctuates a lot and one breast is slightly larger than the other.
I have quite empty breasts on the top, but are bottom heavy UU when bending over so I am very happy with how nice this bra looks.
The fit is great and the underwires are very comfortable. The fabric is very soft and the lace sits really nicely on the breasts.
I ordered this bra, when I used to wear 38JJ/40J. The wires where too small for me and although I'm full on top I could not fill out the upper cup. I think this comes from the way too small wires. Those days Elomi wires where the best for me.
It looks like a great fit, and its beautiful.
