I have soft, narrow-rooted and projected breasts. This is a very low-coverage bra, with a low gore. The shape it gives is spherical, apple-round boobs. In my experience, EM's padded bras run loose, and the sheer bras are usually snug; this is the tightest of all bras I've tried, though not enough to size up (I find it comfortable).
The cups are good in width (maybe a centimetre too wide), but I would like a little more volume. My soft tissue sometimes spills over in the middle, and over the top. The bottom of the cups are either too shallow or too small; whichever it is, after a while ... my breasts creep up to find more room, and leave an empty space above the wires. The top part of the cups is also too flat, or the inward angle is too sharp, and it flattens my boobs and give them a weird rectangular shape unless I let the straps out almost all the way. It's not uncomfortable, it's just not ideal.
The bra itself is gorgeous; the cups are completely sheer, with some of the most beautiful floral embroidery I have ever laid eyes on. The colours are all muted, dusky pinks, dark green, even the beige has a little grey mixed in. The embroidery is very pokey so it's not great under thinner knits. It certainly creates cleavage so I can see it working well with plunging necklines.
It's not perfect for me because of my soft tissue, and I'd like more coverage, but agh it's so pretty I've decided to keep it. It's definitely not an all-day, everyday bra, but it's more of an occasion/special outfit/bedroom bra anyway. Also, ugh, gorgeous.
