I only tried on this bra in a local shop, but I did not buy it as it did not fit me very well.
General comments:
I have only just hopped on the correct-size-bra-band-wagon and still very much in the process of figuring out what works for me. This is not made any easier by the fact that I am breastfeeding (10 months and counting) and still am not used to fact that I have BREASTS, as opposed to my pre-pregnancy 'breasts'. Also, because of breastfeeding, my size, shape and density isn't exactly constant. Anyway, I've so far found only two bra models in a size 60 band (both Freya) ... in local stores and this review is for one of them. I tried this bra on in 65E only.
Bra description:
A reasonably okay-looking bra made out of black mesh with cream embroidery in a floral pattern. I wasn't smitten, but wanted to try ANY bra with a band size smaller than 70, so I tried this one too.
Fit:
The band didn't feel THAT snug. In fact, I could quite easily close it at the tightest hook. The centre gore laid nice and flat though, something I haven't seen too often before.
The cups were a decidedly less successful story, though not as disastrous as the ones on two Freya models I tried at the same time. The underwires only JUST encircled my breasts, but not convincingly so. I would have preferred them wider, but with the band size not optimum I did not see a point in trying a larger size. The cups actually ALMOST fit -- there was only some slight wrinkling at the top of the left one, my slightly smaller breast. Slight tightness along the edges of the cups, though, again, not as badly cutting into my breasts as the Freyas did. The shape the cups gave me was just ... meh. Not very lifted at all, pointy, East-West -- pretty much as if I wasn't wearing any bra at all. It also didn't feel supportive and the fabric less than comfortable against my skin.
Conclusion:
Not for me, this bra. It didn't do anything for my wide-set, wide-based, not too voluminous breasts. The search continues.
