Nice round appearance. Full coverage but not too high. Lace doesn't smooth as intended but is not bothersome. Comfortable all day bra. Currently using a band expander for ease.

The first time Mae and I met, it was a meeting full of sadness. Empty spaces broke my heart and my wallet. We had to part ways. But I always knew we would meet again......
This time around, I sized down. What a difference! The cups, who once laughed at my disappointed face, now hug my body as if we were made for each other. No gaps. No empty spaces. Nothing but love for each other.
Seriously though - Mae is one gorgeous bra. Everything about this bra screams 'pretty'. The lace trim around the cups that extend up the straps....the velvet accents on the cup....I love everything about this one. I am so glad I reordered Mae in a cup size down. I've only had this bra a day now and I am already planning to get the champagne color!

Please see my review under Fantasie 4510 32F [white folks] beige aka "nude".
Just a question: when are manufacturers going to stop that silliness? We took the "flesh" crayon out of the box a long time ago. It's beige. Well, this particular one is black, but I mean the one where the 4510 review lives.

About this Bra
Purchasing:
* $58 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (no Amazon Wardrobe in this size)
* available only in black, white, pink, and beige
Band:
* One layer of a thick, stretch, opaque knit.
* Elastic at top of band.
* Wing support: soft seaming.
* Continuous band - wires lower than wings.
* Back close with 3 columns of hooks.
* Hooks are padded.
Straps:
* elastic has lacy edges to help prevent slider from moving
* very soft (don't stand up on their own)
* full adjust
* leotard back
Cups:
* 4-seam (5-piece) half-cup
* unpadded, flexible underwire
* Top edge is unlined stretch lace.
* Lower horizontal panel is a (2-way) stretch opaque/sheer striped knit lined with a (1-way) ... stretch mesh (horizontal stretch only). [Note: This is a different construction than the same model in a 32E. In the 32E, this is constructed with a NON-stretch opaque/sheer striped knit and lined with NON-stretch mesh.]
* Rest of cup is a stretch opaque/sheer striped knit lined with a non-stretch opaque knit.
* Soft cups (no padding or molding).
Fit
About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
* average projection
* wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts)
* very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
* even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
* short root height, average vertical placement
* mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
* conical shape (but will squish to round)
* full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
* petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
* front (anterior) rib flares
Band:
* length: stays in place with wear
* wings: good height
* slight axillary skin spillage
Gore:
* Comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.
* Gore is quite high, but not uncomfortable during wear. However, do NOT put on bra by hooking back with cups upside down then flipping cups up. The tall gore snaps up onto the sternum with a loud and painful smack. So loud that my daughter heard it from the next room!
Cups:
* Give a pleasantly round, projected shape.
* Wires enclose tissue nicely.
* Top of cup smooth on larger breast. (Slight wrinkling on smaller breast.)
* Bottom of cup filled -- looks really good.
Straps:
* Feel too far apart, but don't feel in danger of slipping.
* adjust short enough
Appearance under Clothing:
* Seams visible under thin T-shirt.
* Top edge of cups visible under V-neck.
* Very visible in armholes of sleeveless shirt.
Extended wear test (a few hours, working at the computer writing reviews for Bratabase):
* Band feels slightly tight, but comfortable.
* Breasts push wire down ever so slightly, but not uncomfortable.
* Straps didn't budge.
* Breast stays inside cup (doesn't escape under wire).
* Cuts into tail of Spence -- a deal breaker. Tried loosening the straps to ease rubbing, but didn't help and made straps slip. Bummer.
Comfort & Fit Summary
* BEST FIT SO FAR!!! (Of nearly 100 bra styles/sizes tried.)
* Why is the band of the 32E too big but the band of the 32F on the tight side? (Color? Beige 32E, white 32F)
* Cutting into the armpit only obvious after a few hours, but no way I could comfortably wear all day.
* Tried with a extender: Band now not supportive, straps slip, and didn't help rubbing on tail of Spence. SO CLOSE.

A vintage model of Fantasie I found on Allegro. Has slightly shimmery fabric and lovely golden flower embroidery. Didn't wear it yet, will add more once I do that.

The perfect t-shirt bra! Like many here, I have relied on the Fantasie 4510 for years and it remains my all-time favorite workhorse of a bra. Pretty/cute it ain't, but my first "fitted" bra (34D 6 years ago) and still the only one that suits my shape. It disappears even under thin knits, stays comfy all day, washes & wears like iron without stretching out, provides a slightly-minimizing yet lifted, good-for-work coverage profile, has low cups in a balcony style so doesn't show under a bunch of necklines, relatively narrow wires but a high enough wing to pull & hold side tissue etc. etc. When I went to ... replace my old 34D after finding my ABTF size, I tried at least 8 other popular t-shirt bras and even tried different sizes. All of the Freya Decos, CK, Wacoal, a few Panache, Parisa Fe, Chantelle....every single one smushed me flat or squeezed me in/out and plus did some other horrid thing, like orange in a glass or quadding. The gore did not tack in a single one of them and it looked like half my torso was a uniform broad tall wide undefined bulge. Apparently (or so I was told by the lingerie salesperson) that is the 'American look', and yes you see it everywhere, don't you? For research purposes, I tried a number of sizes in the 4510, and my opinion is that the band is true to size with very little stretch but the cups run a tad off. Since the moulded shape is so firm, you can get away with going either way. The 32FF gapped a little in the center, the 30FF was tight in the band and skewed the wires a bit, the 32F has a bit of space at the bottom, the 34F had a little too much cup to the sides - but all were wearable under clothes and totally comfortable. Plus! In the 4510 I have two breasts that I can be proud of! Projected & close-set ladies, listen up! Try the 4510. It may be the beginning of a long and rewarding relationship! For reference: 32F/FF; narrow, close & high-set, even 2/5 shape, average root height, immediate projection.

Visually, this bra is gorgeous. Comfort-wise, it isn't the best for me. It always starts out feeling great, but I have to fiddle with it all day long, and by the end of the day I am annoyed and chafed, usually with a red spot on my sternum from poky underwires. Not a winner.

It's a good work bra and a nice UW lounge round the house bra. It's by no means pretty, I have the nude though I see on the Fantasie site they now have a nice red.
The wires are about 1cm too short for the casing which is a minor peeve.

This cup size is clearly too large for me -- there's a lot of emptiness in the top and the look was very pointy. The cups were tending to flip up, so there was digging at the sternum. The best thing about it is that I have no back roll with it. I tried it in other sizes (I'm not going to list them all) and it seems as though a 32E might be good (the one size I didn't order, of course), but the profile is pretty pointy, so I'm not going to bother trying that size. I don't think it's supportive enough for me and the straps are too narrow. It is pretty, though!
I now understand that the band is too big for me too!

This bra has served me really well over the years. I have two of the same model and size.Although I have outgrown the cups (which do run a little large, I think,) I still use it because it looks okay under clothing. It stays in place well and give the breasts a nice shape, and though it is not as supportive on me as it used to be, it has definitely retained its original measurements and appearance really well.

This is no fancy bra, but it's not ugly either.It looks pleasant enough, like a simple modern balconette. You do need round boobs to fill out the top of the cups... I have a 32F and it mostly fits, unfortunately my boobs are 2 different sizes right now due to nursing, so I have a great fit in one boob and top wrinkles on the other. I think if I take a dart near the sternum on that side, I can get it to work. The fit is mostly good for me, and it's pretty comfortable. I have slight pokage on my sternum and I wish the cups ... were a bit narrower to put my boobs in front more and on my sides less.
This bra is near invisible under clothing due to the molded cup and there is no weird seaming or lace to cause showthrough on clothing. It gives a perky rounded lifted shape that is popular now.
I have a black one now and previously owned a 'nude' colored one. The durability of this bra is VERY good. My 'nude' bra lasted 4 years of heavy use before the rubber in the straps disintegrated. There was discoloring - the different fabrics drifted apart from each other in color - but it remained functional until the rubber went.
If it fits I 100% recommend it for quality, practicality, and un-ugliness.

It's comfortable but the black does run a bit smaller than the white, I'd say the white colourway is more comfortable for me.

HOW IT FEELS: Fairly comfortable. I think the gore is high enough to not bother me too much. This bra seems like a better shape match for FOB and/or somewhat more projected. For my softer tissue it gave me a torpedo shape. Not the worst under a tight fitting shirt, but very pointy under flowy tops. Need a bit more shallow and open on top cups.
ABOUT ME: Tall roots, very close set (less than a pinkie width between breasts), slightly center full, even vertical fullness (possibly functionally FOT due to tall roots). Average for projection, root width, and tissue softness/firmness. I think my tissue is soft ... enough to where shallower bras can work ok for me if they're more open on top, or taller cups.
BEST FITS: High apex and plunges

I bought this bra from a local boutique before discovering Bratabase & ABTF ~ 2 years ago. My fitter was new, and to her credit, suggested I return for a 2nd fitting with a more experienced fitter when I expressed interest in buying several swimsuits. I had already spent > $500 on several bras & 1 Brazilian brief.
The fitter told me to wear my bras on the middle or tightest hook from the start. 😔. When I returned for my swimsuit fitting, the more experienced fitter remeasured me & *diplomatically* suggested I was closer to a 28FF or 30F.
I digress. The bra is beautiful. ... The only time I wore it was to model it for my husband & today to remind me of the fit. If interested, this bra mixes well with cowboy boots & large silver/turquoise earrings…🔥🔥🔥
Even set on the tightest hook, the band is riding up my back.
My younger girlfriend has the same bra. Like many younger women, she's concerned about seams/texture showing through the fabric. Shucks! If I were her age, I would get a thin, sheer white/beige blouse & pair it with this beauty. Add the cowboy boots, mini denim skirt, and earrings - let’s dance! 💃🎶🎤ðŸ¤
I will hand wash & air dry, then return to measure.
Edit: I returned to measure after hand-washing & air-drying after wearing it for 6 hours. Of the three 32-size band bras I entered, this is the only one I envision keeping. Mind you, I need to wear it on the tightest clasp, but I do like it. It provides a nice round shape and is so comfortable! Perhaps I will look into having the band altered.

My poor left boob doesn't want to stay in this bra. The band is stretchier than the other Fantasie bras I've tried but not overly so. I love the design overall so I'm going to try a larger cup size next.

Finally, found a wireless bra that fits!
I grabbed this bra off Amazon for under $12. I have struggled to find wireless bras that I can sleep in that fit me and are not too expensive. I usually wear a 30F-30FF and fantasie bands are generally too loose for me in a 30. I took a chance I got this in a 32F hoping that it would at least be Snug enough to prevent too much moclvement while sleeping and lounging around the house. I was very surprised that it fits well!
When I tried it in I hooked the band on the tightest hooks but I think for ... sleep I'll actually be able to move to the middle hooks.
The lace fabric is not the softest by any means but it doesn't itch or scratch my sensitive skin. I'm hoping it will soften up with wear and a few washes.
The cups fit well and it doesn't squish my breasts flat or squish them into each other. Without an underwire this bra does give me a side boob buldge but idc about that.
I mostly wanted this to lift support while sleeping and lounging but it had really good support for a wireless bra. The best support I've found in any wireless to date!

Really great information here by xiphoid!
I bought this bra at bravissimo in person on a recent trip abroad. I'll be keeping it since its probably the bra that fits me best at this moment but I also have some fit issues: the straps feel slightly too far apart (they sit on the outer edges of my shoulders -- I feel like if I slouch a lot, they'll fall off...although they haven't yet.) The fabric around the band feels very firm but actually seems to stretch throughout the day. I ended up moving to the shortest hook after about 4 hours of wear today after ... starting on the longest. The gore sits flat on my sternum but the wires to seem to slightly push apart breast tissue which isn't the most comfortable. I feel like if the wires were 2 cm shorter or so close they were touching, it would be much more comfortable.
I will also echo the warning about being careful when flipping the bra over from upside down -- the sudden snap REALLY hurts.
What I'm working with: I'm about average height and build w/ slightly narrow shoulders. My breasts are conical (2/4) but my tissue is pretty firm all around (except around the areola so squishing to be more round feels ok.) As far as I can tell, average projection, spacing is about 1.5 fingers' width.

I purchased this bra through a fitter. It's the wrong size for me. Within a week, I was hooking it on the tightest hook. My band size is actually 30. My snug ribcage is 29. I have wide roots. The cup is not really too small, but it doesn't fit me. I can't fill out the top but the side wires sit on my breast tissue a bit. Since purchasing this bra, I have tried several Fantasies in size 30G. They just don't work for me. The quality of Fantasie is awesome. (this is coming from a former Wacoal gal).
