The first thing I notice about this bra is how narrow the wires are for a Fantasie. I'm guessing I have only ever tried the Fantasie Side-Support models, which have wider wires. I have narrow roots and projected breasts with soft tissue, and am close-set with centre fullness. This bra does not quite fit me. The gore floats and wires sit on my centre breast tissue, so there is not enough depth at the gore. The cups are fairly deep at the apex but oddly shaped, and they still manage to give my breasts an east-west appearance. The seams don't round out the breast but make an odd angled shape. The band is more snug than other Fantasies I have tried.
Fantasie bras are hit-and-miss for me, but I keep trying them because this brand is most readily available on Amazon. I have narrow roots and even, projected, soft, saggy breasts which are close-set with centre fullness. This bra almost fits me, but the gore is floating and there's not quite enough room at the gore for my centre fullness, so there is slight quadding. As expected, the band is quite stretchy and the 36 fits me well. The wires on this style are narrow (though still a little wide for me, since there's empty space at the sides) and the cups are fairly deep at the apex. I ...find that these Fantasie side-support styles give a more natural, less uplifted shape to my breasts; there seems to be lots of room at the bottom of the cup (more than I need, really) so these styles might be good for bottom-full breasts. This style seems very similar to the Hayley (which already I own), but the Hayley fits me better since its cups have more volume and the wires and gore are slightly shorter (although its cups are also slightly wider than the Frances). Both bras have mesh-lined black lace upper cups, which I like as it feels substantial enough to keep my upper breast tissue held in. Read more 108 more words
This is a comfortable bra, with pretty good immediate projection, but not great lift or upward support. The gore doesn't tack, but at least I don't have any quadboob. The band is very stretchy, I tried this also in 38 band and it was too loose. It gives decent support for my pendulous breasts, but the cups are a little too wide with empty space at the sides, so the shape isn't as lifted, more east-west and a little saggy (natural for my boobs). Some wrinkling in the bottom of the cup - almost like I am not full-on-bottom enough to fill out the cup. Comfortable to wear, but the shape it gives is not ideal for me.
This is a lovely bra, and it's comfortable, but I find the wires are too wide for me. I love the black and blue lace and blue colors in the print. The fit is pretty good: deep cups contain my projected boobs and narrow-ish gore allows room for my centre fullness. The bra material is soft and comfortable to wear. I have narrow roots and unfortunately the cups are too wide by at least an inch on the sides, and the bra gives my breasts an east-west appearance. Band seems super stretchy as I normally wear a 38 band but this 36 fits comfortably.
Comfy fabric, flattering shape. Wrong band size for me, too loose. Feels like it could be a great every day bra, though. It does have a silly dangly tiny piece of metal hanging from the top of the gore. I can see cutting that off. It is oddly attached in such a way that it could flip up and stay up and poke your shirt in a weird way. Odd design choice.
This bra seems like it should work but then doesn't. The materials are okay quality and I like the spacer material on the cups, as well as the geometric motif on the lace (yay for something other than florals!). The cups have a side sling, however it's made from a super stretchy material and it doesn't actually do anything in bringing tissue from the armpits to the front of the chest, but rather it's the complete opposite. The bra obtains a minimised shape from the side because it pushes all the tissue out into the armpits. This gives a wider appearance from the front - it's a matter ...of preference if you like this look. The shape the bra gives is super rounded, but the cups allow for very little center fullness. Regarding the fit, this bra seems like a good fit when I first out it on and it needs a bit of wearing before all the fit issues start. Regarding overall projection, it seems at the beginning that this bra is deep enough for me (I need bottom projection but not a lot of overall projection in the middle of the cup), but while wearing it the wire start to slide down the chest as the cup is too shallow. What I personally find scratchy and uncomfortable is the lace on the bottom of the band. Underneath the cups, especially as the bra slides down, the lace quickly becomes uncomfortable as the wires dig into the ribs. Also, the wing has a piece of material that is completely non-stretch, and on the bottom of this piece the lace also digs in. The straps are quite wide set and dig into my arms - which is quite unusual for my wide shoulders. Read more 185 more words
My first try with a Fantasie bra, this one is not too bad, but at first try: - the wires are too wide for me, there is empty space at side of cups and I feel the wires under my arms as I move my arms around. - the centre gore pulls to the left side, although it's not poking or irritating me -cups too separate
After wearing for a while, I find the lace elastic edging very uncomfortable. I also put an extender on the band so it doesn't feel too tight. This bra does not feel good to wear.
Fit wise this is one of my favorite and most comfortable Bras, no pinching feeling not tight or loose. I like the lace top and everything but not really fond of the color and not really matching my clothes.
The fit of this bra was perfect for my shape. The band is very stretchy, so I'd like to try a sister size, down one band size. Unfortunately it's a discontinued model and I can't find it anywhere in the smaller band :/
This bra isn't perfect for my shape (narrow and projected) but I've been looking for a nude non-seamed bra and this is the best so far. I wouldn't call this a moulded bra - it's lightly lined. It seems like the cups are too big because I have some wrinkling and empty space at the top of the cup. The gore doesn't tack because it's too shallow and the gore is too wide and ends up twisting. It's very comfortable and provides good support. I doesn't give me as great uplift/shape as Cleos but it is fine for now while I keep looking.
Got this bra from someone else, so it's har for me to tell if the cut is stretched out or not. It's a fabric with a lot of give. On me it's very comfy but not uplifting enough. Pretty black lace with gold embelishment, sheer and sexy. This one has lots of depth (projected though nothing has quite the immediate projection I need)
I wanted to like this bra. I really WANTED to like this bra. I even let the fitter talk me into buying the bra after I'd sworn that I wouldn't get a second Fantasie because I knew the first one had a seam I didn't like on the strap. The silhouette under a t-shirt is quite nice. But after about four hours in it, it was such a huge relief to take it off! It's a very sturdy bra, tough and heavy feeling; it is not a pretty bra. The fabric was too stiff and scratchy, leaving me to constantly try to pull the fabric away from my skin. I kept having a weird sense that my boobs weren't filling out the forward-most part of the cup. I'm going to give it one more go after a second washing juuuust in case the washing improves it.
I wanted to like this bra because it's beautiful. The gore was on the wider and higher side, but felt comfortable with my wide-set breasts. Unfortunately, the wires were way too wide (by about an inch), yet did not come up high enough to keep all of my side tissue in place. Plus, the bottom of the cup was too shallow, and I'm not projected. I actually felt the bottom underwires roll in order for the bra to go below my inframmary fold, which I'd never felt before! Despite that, the wires did feel sturdier than a Freya half-cup, and the fit was a bit reminiscent of that style as well. This one had to go back, but would definitely suit those with a shallower profile and in need of wide wires.
This bra never fit and Im not sure why I thought a 36G would. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I guess I tried to convince myself because it was the prettiest bra I have ever owned. The pink with magenta and white detailing is so beautiful.
I feel as if this bra doesn't go up correctly in the cup size. It's only a half an inch larger from the F. Or maybe the cups are inconsistent? I guess not much can be look at since there are only 2 bras so far. This bra also feels a bit flimsy.
It is awfully loose in the band as well. I suggest ordering the next size down and probably up in the cup.
Fits ok. It is very pretty. The band is a bit big for me. I'm not used to the balconete styles yet. I dont quite feel secure without some material over the top of my breasts. It is relatively comfortable though. I wish the cups were a little more constructed. I have "soft tissue" so some extra help with shaping would be appreciated.
The profile view looked like a good fit, at first glance, but you can see on further inspection, that it is giving you some east/west. :\
