This is a pretty black stretch lace-and-mesh bra and the soft stretchy material is comfortable to put on. Unfortunately, my soft, saggy breasts need more structure than the sheer cups provide, and the fit doesn't work with my narrow, close-set and projected breasts. The bra gives more of an east-west shape to my breasts, and doesn't provide enough support.
My first time trying a padded half-cup style. It feels comfortable when I first put it on, the fabric is soft and smooth and the cups softly padded. But almost immediately the straps start to slip right off my shoulders, and no matter how much I adjust and tighten the straps, they keep slipping off. This is unusual since I have fairly wide shoulders. Looking more closely at the fit, there is a lot empty space at the side of the cup, and the wires are a little too wide under my arm. Also, after a few minutes wearing this bra the underwires slide down from my infra-mammary fold. So the cup shape is a mismatch for my boobs, cups are too shallow, especially at the gore and wire, but I didn't notice at first since all my soft breast tissue gets pushed upwards and towards the sides. So the bra is a shape mismatch for me, I need more projection at the wire and narrower cups.
Very comfortable to put on, but soon it feels like the band wants to slide down on my torso. No matter how much I try to adjust my boobs within the cups, there are wrinkles at the bottom of the cup. My shape is narrow, even, projected with average-to-short roots, close-set with lots of upper-center fullness and soft, saggy breast tissue.
Comfy fabric, flattering shape. Wrong band size for me, would definitely need a tighter band. Feels like it could be a great every day bra, though. It does have a silly dangly tiny piece of metal hanging from the top of the gore. I can see cutting that off. It is oddly attached in such a way that it could flip up and stay up and poke your shirt in a weird way. Odd design choice.
I really wanted to like this bra, because it's beautiful. However, the 36 band is too big on me, the gore is not tacking and the top of the cups are wrinkling, so it's not a good fit. This bra has a lovely silky fabric and beautiful lace design, so I wish it were a bra that fit. Will reorder in a different size.
There's not a lot bad about this bra, it just didn't excite me. It felt like a cheaper bra I could buy, like cacique. Gore didn't tack, but that's a rarity for me. It did do good at minimizing my bust, but the price for that was it kind of flattened my shape into saucers. Very comfortable though. Even though I need full cups due to my top fullness, these are a little too full for my tastes. I will be returning it shortly. Oh, also the nude color is towards the pink side.
This bra is comfortable; full coverage and keeps everything secure. The band and straps have small scalloped lace on the edges, which is a nice touch. The print may not be for everyone; think Italian Renaissance floral in teal and tan. This bra does bring everything to the center but there is not much lift, giving a more natural silhouette. If you are full in the center, you may not feel as supported as full on the side gals. The bottom of the gore is ever so slightly elasticized, giving more comfort. One thing I'm not such a fan of is the stretchy band; I just purchased it ...and I can already wear it on the last hook (I prefer a firmer band fit). Overall pleased with this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
update: after wearing this more, I really wish I had sized down in the band. I also think the cups are a bit too wide and shallow for me. Much as the name suggests, I think it would be best for someone with outer fullness. Read more 72 more words
What an odd bra this is. The cups are too big and too small at the same time. Doesn't tack on me due to my close set chest. Side slings are useless and sit somewhere under my armpits. Top of the cup gaps near my arms. It lacks projection on me, flattening while also pushing my boobs to the sides. It does have a firm band that I like and is very light. I am wearing it anway, as it is one of only three bras I've purchased since learning I am not just a DD But I do not plan to keep in the long term.
My second, besides the Elomi Cleo, work horse bra. Fits well, gives great support, and a natural kind of tear drop shape under clothes. It is a little big in the cup as I have some gaping at the top of the cup. I definitely could have sized down in this bra. Gives excellent bottom support to my heavy, saggy breasts. No back-ache. Some shoulder ache due to the straps digging in after I have been wearing it for awhile. Has withstood machine washing and my husbands occasional throwing it in the dryer very well. I will definitely be trying more Fantasie products in the future.
Very pretty, and very soft. Unpadded cup. This bra is actually very warm, I have gone on walks in it, on a cool fall night, and have gotten sweaty in it. Semi see through along the top of the cup where it is very lacy. The 2 hooks are nice, but because the band is very generous, it just doesn't feel like it gives enough support for an all day wear for a larger busted woman. I would suggest going for a tighter band with this bra. The cup is also very stretchy. I got this bra and it was already too large for me. I have since lost weight and this bra is just now very large, and completely unworkable for me. But if I'm feeling lazy, it's certainly a bra I could wear to sleep in.
It is a very comfortable bra. I find it hardly gives any uplift although it is supportive. I have not had it for long and at the moment I wear it with an extender but I would not really go up to a 38 band. Even though I own other bras in an H cup and this is a GG, it fully encloses my breast tissue. The fabric in the cups is nice and soft, feels very comfy but I don't know whether it will be too warm for summer. Biggest problem for me is that it pushes the breast tissues to the sides, does not bring it to the center so I do find it uncomfortable when I move my arms forward and it makes me look even wider from the front. It has an inside sling (similar to Panache Andorra) but I don't really find it does much in terms of keeping the breast tissue centered. The profile is very rounded - a bit too much for my taste.
The band runs big. I'm exactly 36 inches around the ribcage, but the 36 band rides up, and I could put it on its tightest hook the first time I wore it. Too stretchy! The cups are also fuller coverage than I would expect from a balcony bra. It gives a fairly good shape under clothes, though there's less uplift than I was hoping for.
