I took this model in a cup size down from the usual AND sister-sized it (so, I would normally look for a 32DD to sister-size from a 30E, but I took a 32D for this). This is amazing! I love this half-cup style - while it's "padded", it is not heavy padding at all. This is a great match for projected shapes. The wires are the perfect width. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the band is too large - but I expected that. This bra makes me sad that Fauve is out of business...
Well the band is two sizes too large (I measure in as a 28e/f), but it otherwise fits pretty well. I do well in halfcups, being on the shallower side of average, and very wide rooted. The gore is actually narrow enough for me, which is unusual and surprising. I LOVE the pistachio color, the pale yellow lace, the little double bow details. Fauve makes the must beautiful bras
I wish Fauve were still around. Their bras are stunning. I got my first Fauve this year and ordered 2 more right away. Sad to have missed out before now. So pretty on you!

It's really soft and it's really pretty. There are lots of nice little details that made Fauve popular. I particularly like that the lace is gray and not white.
I thought about keeping it anyway, but I fell out on the left side when I bent over. That's a deal breaker for me.
Comfortable, but the band is a little too big for me. It relies a little bit on the straps to stay up, so the support isn't quite in the right places. Also the band in the back feels a little itchy, which is more of a minor annoyance than anything serious, but still. It is pretty cute and comfortable though.
This bra is just perfect for my shape. It fits like handmade. Its black color almost does not fade out during washing the bra. I see this seldom and its a high quality sign which means its not made with cheap sn unhealthy color which may cause skin irtitations and allergic reactions. A high end bra - too sad it is discontinued.
Nice everyday bra. The material is not as luxurious as some other fauve bras, but it has the same cup size as Isla Fauve 32DD. Thats a fitting garuantee for me. 5 stars as usal for this nice bra.
This bra is great! I don't know why people spemd so much money on Ewa Michalak of there is Fauve. At least for me Fauve is perfect. The details are stunning and I love the romantic style. They are bras like baroque pillows for boobs.
Even though some girls seem to not like the hard wires of this bra I like them because they do not bend easily and on combination with the bras cut they give good support for wide boobs. I had Lavinia as a nursing bra size 32E and it had a wider cup than all my other bras and it was a little bit bigger too. Freya would sell this as an F cup.
Most annoying bra i own, because of the wrong Size. Nevertheless i dont know which Size would be The right one for me. I'd like to ask that on the help seeking section.
Lil Miss Princess Isla OMG what a beautiful bra! Just came with the mail this morning - swapped with a friend who just started the bra journey. The good news - my bra fits her. Bad news: this beauty is too small for me in the cups. From the pics it looked like the depth would be enough, but there's still about half a cup space needed for a decent fit. Fits OK on my smaller side, but really quadding on the bigger. Sigh... I can't get over the beauty of this one. Lightly padded narrow and deep 3 piece vertical seam cups, open on top, allowing upper fullness. ...Cup material is mesh with lovely gentle detailing, band is strong mesh, very high quality finish. The band is a 32, but has little stretch, so works fine on the middle hook. Wires are quite firm, which is no surprise with Fauve . I really love the fact that the cups are deep and padding very light and thin. Goes straight to listings, otherwise I'll just end up keeping yet another beautiful non fitting bra... Fauve band sizing can be inconsistent, but the cups are usually generous. I think this style is discontinued, so not much chance to get it in my size. :(
Im having this bra for few months now. Its really comfortable - I'm using it mainly under my uniform at work as its dark, but also is not tight, so wearing it for 12-13h per day is fine. I love the colour, is something between blue and green. Unfortunately the band is quite big, but in 30s doesn't feel right on me - ill have to alter it soon (or my mom will do https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />). Its really elegant. Definitely worth to try it.
Very romantic bra. Looks really nice, although I'm more FOB so the top is fine for the first 10 min. Although very comfy to wear. Also, the 1 vertical seam seems to not work. The plunge version is perfect for me.
Such a lovely bra! As i was happy with my plunge version, bought this one. Because there was no 32DD, i took 32D and unfortunately is too small..such a shame. Love the pattern on it and the quality as fauve always provides.
This bra is so beautiful, that I am actually thinking about shortening the band. This is a luxurious bra. The lace is a divine soft grey, and the orange satin fabric is jewel-like. Simply lovely. The bra works well for shallow spectrum. I only wish the wires were a little wider and longer, as I have a little tissue that escapes into my armpits if I wear this bra for a while. But over all not a bad fit.
Fauve is one of my favourite brands when it comes to the design, but unfortunately their smallest bands are too loose for me and their bras are too expensive in regular price. Despite all these contraindications I decided to buy Fauve on sale even if it means to go up one or two band sizes and alter the bra so as it becomes wearable. My first try was Annalise in 34D (altered to 30E) which was at least one cup size too big. I thought that I needed to size down to 30DD, at least in models known for running big in the cups.
Fauve Veronique was my second ...bra in the new size, 32D. The band was of course too loose and I altered it to 30DD/28E.
I have to confirm that the cups run quite big. I can wear this bra all the time, despite of size changes throughout a month. I have this model in two colourways, grape and topaz – the cups are more closed on the top in topaz while they're quite open in grape. The underwires are extremely wide like in all Fauve half cups, and the straps are really very centered. It's not the perfect mix for my breast which prefers narrow underwires and wide-set straps. I think that sizing down the cup was helpful
The design is just extraordinary, you can see a great quality in the perfect finish and materials. The only criticism I have to make is that the straps are very stretchy, fortunately supportive enough. Read more 145 more words
