A beautiful bra with delicate embroidery, as expected from Fauve. Band quite stretchy, much more so than some other Fauves I have. Of course, too small in cups for me (and way too large in band size), but so pretty I wore it anyway https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />.
Of all the Fauve bras I've tried, this one came the closest to fitting me. The gore was flat, but I had some wrinkling in the bottom of the cups due to insufficient projection. It wasn't bad, but combined with the very pointy shape it gave me, I decided not to keep it. Straps were only half adjustable and I had them almost as short as they could go.
Like all Fauve bras I have tried thus far, there is insufficient projection in the bottom of the cup for me. I also find that the gore angles toward my smaller breast. The cups are slightly too large for me. It gave me a very pointy shape. Straps are only half adjustable and I had them adjusted as short as possible.
As you would expect from Fauve, this bra shows a lot of attention to detail. The hooks are covered by embroidery, and there's an echo of the pattern at the end of the hooks (the two pieces would touch on the tightest hook). The embroidery continues along the bottom of the cups and top of the cups. Altogether there is too much embroidery for me. I would have liked the edging of the cups and the little star-like silver thread shooting through the dark blue of the cups, but it is just too crowded with the additional embroidery in the transparent portion of the cups at the top.
The straps look a little like crepe with folds in the fabric serving to keep the sliders in place. They are fully adjustable.
The cups don't have enough immediate projection for me. Although I don't get significant folding, my breast does end in a rather green shape. I don't sag below the level of the underwire, but there's a significant dip at the bottom of the cup.
